White and off white seem to be the only shades she looks right in especially with her lovely silvery, pale lilac wig. Always said the lilac resin reminds me of winter snowclouds, it's such a warm and very under-rated colour.

Only once I put the coat on her was I permitted to know her full name...seemingly Whisper is short for Whispering Snowfall.

Hey Lana !! Yes chips are re-ment too. The cafe was a second hand Bratz one that my daughter snagged off ebay for $10 for christmas for me. Perfect. I now need to do up the walls and floors with bits and pieces I find along the way. He has the cutest surf board and skateboard too. I love him.

That was a really good e-bay find, it's perfect for them!

He is quite the surfer dude, all suntan, sunbleached hair, and laid back style..no wonder he caught Kizzy's eye!

Yes I did I threaded them on wire, pushed the hair through the loop and pulled lol

I got a large Mina in NS today...I asked for freckles She is to replace my PpoPpo who I've damaged and I had the Moona and will be happy to see Mina's smaller head.

I might make her a Mina/PpoPpo hybrid but I won't know until I get her

Did a couple of alterations to my Large Moona portrait to see how the male version 'Milo' would look as I don't think anyone has one yet or if they do I've not seen one.
I think Moona makes a very handsome boy, looks like Zack has some competition!!



...also added the both portraits together for a brother and sister picture.

What a beautiful picture! Mina is my favorite. Blodeuwedd- I didn't notice that you live in the highlands in Scotland. Is it as beautiful as I have read about? Do you have any pictures of your girls outside.

Hiya hun, it is once you get away from the populated areas and thankfully it doesn't take much of a car journey to do just that. I'm not that far from Loch Ness, the Moray Firth (which has bottlenose dolphins..yes dolphins!!) or Culloden Battlefield to name a few so the variety in landscape can range from lakes to forests to coastal to farmland to bleak moorland! Once you travel closer to mountain areas you can see how harsh nature can be!

My girls haven't really traveled any further than the back garden I'm afraid lol!

 

I should post more pictures of my girl. I think she's great and is having fun with her new friends.

I just really do love your Moona. She is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for posting these pics. I have been wondering if a white skinned Moona would look ok with a tan Bracken. Ever since I initially saw your Moona, I have been wanting a white skinned girl. But I just absolutely love Bracken in tan skin. So, now I know they will look great together! Thanks MOP!

My Mina shipped a bit of time ago...I can't wait to see what Carrie has done to her...and I can't wait to see how her wig turned out!

Now I just have to make repairs to her wheelchair and Nuri 2.0 will be in action! I even got her new clothes And Ruby Red shoes!!!!!!

Got this lovely pink Blythe dress from Mo (Feltland) the other week, and the red shoes from Mimiwoo arrived a few days ago so I took Whisper out to spend some time in amongst the flowers that just happen to match her dress!!

She's such an easy girl to photograph which is one of the reasons I love the lilac resin so much. It doesn't reflect light the same way paler shades do so tends to look good no matter what light condition.

 

Oooo, that dress suits Whisper so well!.. what a lovely shade of pink, and is perfect with the beautiful flowers. Very gorgeous photo!

I thought the combination looked good when I tried the blue CoCo head on my lilac Moona's body but seeing one like this all matching makes her even better!
She's absolutely beautiful, such a graceful and delicate looking creature. I love her to bits!!

 

Carrie, I really love Coco's head on the larger body, how does the neck fit, did you have to adapt it? And I can't remember how big Coco's head is, is it much smaller than the large Mina/Moona's head?

 

No adapting is needed at all, the head fits perfectly...same goes for the Large Moona head on the BonBon/CoCo body!

It seems like Coco's head is more in scale which I really like...she looks more in proportion...just...REALLY TALL. What size wig does she take again? LOL

I just had a really awful thought, what if she were blue...

 

I think she will suit any colour. I am just partial to the tan, its so golden. She is perfect, just perfect and Fallow sums up the willowy gentle beauty. I am so pleased for you .

And the photos of Whisper are what made me decide to get 2 of the colored Moonas, a Blue and Pink one. I will take some pics and post them here soon!

 

I want to see her in the lt and dk tan and I would love to see her body blush in a dusky rose color intead of pink. Something about her seems shy but sensual, and victorian or maybe medeivel in style. I love the wig but would really like a more sunsteaked blonde with lighter and darker shades mixed in. Carrie, she is beautiful! I really, really, really want one , please order a lot!

 

62kitty if I'm not mistaken the one Carrie has shown us is in the light tan resin, it's a very hard colour to photograph correctly.
I'd love to see a dark tan one too but I think she'd look amazingly ethereal in white!!!
