    15. This is a wonderful tutorial!
I am amazed by how much work is involved in making these tiny shoes.
If I build up enough courage I'd love to try sometime.
Thanks for sharing your expertise :-)

    16. Incredible!

    17. How did you get your insole pattern? I'd like to try this on a bigger doll, but I don't think the foot proportions are the same...scaling up the pattern might be an interesting process...I think my doll's feet are proportionally skinnier..

Thanks for posting this. It certainly gave me ideas on how to make shoes in general for my doll

    18. Trace your doll's foot, then re-draw it faintly bigger with a toe-shape that you like (rounded, square, pointy).

    19. My attempt at this will be for Elfdoll's Catsy.

I purchased all the supplies necessary for this tut. The fear is in the applied practice! I'll let you know how it goes :sweat !

    20. I'm going to have to try this on my MSD...wish me luck :D

    21. this is a pretty awesome tutorial

    22. This tutorial is great! The instructions are detailed and the photographs clearly show the steps.

    23. Ohmygawd, this is AMAZING. Thank you for posting it :)
I have a couple of PukiPuki's in mind, and was just realizing there are almost no shoes available for them! Maybe I'll just make my own instead :)

    24. thank you so much for this i knew for the price of one puki shoe i could make a hundred and now i can ^_^

    25. That is just too darn smart... Good job!

    26. great! definitely gonna try this!

    27. Priceless! Thanks for all the hard work.

    30. Wow this is awasome ... I must try it ! Thanks a lot for this tuto !

    31. good tutorial, tho i only just have enough patience to make the tiny cloaths..let alone the shoes aswell.. wow.

    32. Wow!! I loved your tutorial! Really well explained and I loved your pics with your Puki's helping! Being new here, are Puki's the same size as Lati yellows?
      Thanks for the great tute!

    33. Pukis are 11.2cm. Lati yellow are 16cm. I am sure you could do the tutorial for different size dolls though. Would be convenient if their feet attach with magnets, too. If I do try it I will post the results :D

    34. I truly love this tutorial
i definately need to try it out soon

    35. I think this process could translate to a larger size doll. I would also love to try it. Thanks so much for the info! The pictures are very clear and helpful!

    36. fantastic tutorial !!! I'm sure this would work for any sized doll.

    37. Amazing tutorial!
Thank you so much for sharing, I might have to give it a try sometime!

    39. Wow! Great work!

    40. Thank you! It is very useful, I think, now I am able to try it.

    41. Well, printed out the pattern at 135% to get it to fit Resinsoul Yu....now I just need to find some thin leather. Will post results when I get it done.

      Thanks for the great tutorial!!!

    42. great idea never thought of that

    43. This is an amazing tutorial! Thank you so much for all your hard work and willingness to share with us. I am going to get the supplies and try this out...if anyone else tries it out, lets see your pictures. k

    44. Marvelous and detailed tutorial; thank you so much! I apologize if I missed the answer to this somewhere, but do you do anything special to protect the dolls' actual legs while you are making the molds at the beginning? My dolls are bigger than this, and have sealed pedicures and light body blushing. Just curious. :)

    45. I don't do anything to protect the legs. Placing the doll's feet in the mold-making compound is pretty much the same as standing them in water for 5 minutes. Should not hurt any sealed paints as long as you don't leave them in the gel for hours. The worst thing that happens is the gel can start to seep into the joint so when you remove the doll from the mold you should stretch her ankles open and brush out any bits of solidified mold gel while it is still moist.

    46. *squeeeeeeeee*

I just followed the tutorial and have little tiny feetsies in plaster........I have duplicated my Resinsoul Yu's feet and my CH Bisou's feet. Now to paperclay them and try shoes...

I am soooo excited....Thank you sooo much for the tutorial!!!

    47. I must say that this is so cute to see the tutorial and the aides. :D the little pukis are so cuteeeeeeee How easy would it be to adapt this to a bigger size?

    48. this is a fantastic tutorial! hopefully I'll be able to build up the courage to stick my little ones feet into pink goo

    49. Great tutorial! Thanks for posting all of that work! OMG now I NEED a Puki :3nodding: so I can make these wee shoes! The wax tip on the last is great advice (as is the paperclay toe extension!)

    50. As a note: use the 3D model stuff.....I tried to do this with Composimold......soooo did not work. I use Composimold for my resin jewellery....doesn't work so good for this. It is well worth the money to use the 3D stuff.

    51. Well.........tried to do this for my Resinsoul Yu and they are too big, and it is totally my fault.. Put too much clay on the pieces for the last, so will make new lasts. I am still pretty proud that they look like shoes. They fit my Liv doll. LOL

Got a lot of glue on the outside, but being my first pair, I didn't expect otherwise. Here are some pics to show that you can enlarge the pattern and have it work.

    52. awesome do you think this could work for bigger dolls too

    53. Thanks so much for this tutorial. It's just what I've been looking for. Great job!

    54. Wow very good! I would never be able to do that! your little dollies helped like the story of the shoe maker :D

    55. Remuss-grrrl....Great job!

I too, took the plunge to try this out. The first cast of the LTF foots is in the 3D gel...its the first picture where my poor boy is hanging from his ears!! I told him it was for him and his sisters and he was totally down with it. I covered his ankle joints with strips of thin scotch tape and sanded the pokey parts out in the plaster cast. The mold was very bubbly but it made a decent one time cast of the foot.

His feet were fine...no residue and scotch tape peeled right off. The next day it was set and his foot popped out, with only slight tearing. Because the mold was somewhat fragile/torn, I put the mold back into the cup to pour the plaster...it held the mold perfectly and no distortion of plaster cast.
I didn't get a picture of plaster foot....I used paper clay to round the toe and cast it again in 3D gel to make a the final shoe shape plaster cast. And had some old amber resin hanging around so mixed it up and cast another pair of shoe lasts.

    56. Ok, don't freak out. I really stuck his head in latex...covered his little crack with thin scotch tape. It is taking a long time to set up bc it is so cold down in my workspace but tomorrow I will know if this works or ...I don't know what??? The thought is horrifying.............
I want to make a wig stand, maybe something that would work for styling too. When its cast in plaster i plan to add a dowel.

    57. Thank you for this great and useful tutorial! I'll try to follow it, when my puki arrive)

    58. Absolutely awesome. Thanks for all the hard work, and sharing with us
      G-MA

    59. Thanks for the detailed tutorial! I liked that you built up around the foot for a nicer toe/shoe shape (it makes such a difference for a professional looking shoe), and your idea to dip it in wax is ingenious! I will have to try this soon once I can get around to buying all the materials.

    60. This is such a fantastic thread thank you all for the great info and insperation.
