Tiny Green Wigs?

    1. New I'm expecting a new doll soon, and her wig size is in the 4-5 inch range. Does anyone happen to know where I could find any dark green wigs in that size?

      I'm learning so many new crafts right now, but I'm hoping to not have to learn wig making just yet. x'D

    2. New Etsy or Ebay are good options to start. Try searching "4-5 green doll wig"; that will give you more options instead of just "bjd wig".

    3. New So generally (huge emphasis on generally), BJD wigs run around this scale:
      1/3 is 8 to 9 inches
      1/4 is 7 to 8 inches
      1/6 is 6 to 7 inches
      1/8 is 5 to 6 inches

      4 to 5 inches (approx 10-12.5 CM) is basically the same size as a playline Barbie doll head.

      Another place you could try is Parabox - they have very precise measurements (4 inches, 4.5 inches, 5 inches), but hooo, shipping is pricey if you don't live in Japan. Etsy/eBay is probably going to be much cheaper.

    4. New seconding the parabox suggestion! its very good for very small dolls.
      but yeah at that size searching for barbie wigs is gonna get you more results than searching for bjd wigs specifically

    5. New I think no dark green is available right now, but the Himekazura wigs on Mandarake do come in the 4-5 inch range and have various green options in stock every now and then.

    6. New I don't know if they have anything in green at the moment, but Dollce (store location in Akihabara, Tokyo) has lots of 4 and 5in wigs. I've bought wigs from them in person and I was really happy with them.

      I think the 4-5 size is also the size for small Obitsu, so try looking at places that cater to those as well~

      I have one large doll who wears green wigs and it's not the easiest color to come by.
      At the 4-5 in size, you may want to look into making wigs from brushed out yarn fibers since it wouldn't be a huge task and that way you could get your choice of green color or color blend.

    7. New Thanks everyone! I'm trying my luck at messaging two different etsy shops. One has wigs the right size with the right style and I'm asking if they'll make me a green one, and one has the right color and right style, and I'm asking if they'll make me an 11 cm wig.

    9. New @MaleficentMrsofEvil - Yeah, we just happened to notice the shop walking back to the Akiba station from the Dolk store and went inside. 90% of the store is just wigs on display, all sizes, but with a focus on smaller sizes. They really had a nice selection.

      I think we purchased five or six wigs? Different makers, limited edition style/color offers - they were all good quality.

    10. New Seconding Parabox and Dollce. I have a Dollce wig for my imda1.7, which has a 5 inch head circumference.
      Mandarake Himekazura also has a small selection of 4 - 5 inch wigs.
