Tiny Doll Collector

Hello I am from MNL!

I have been in this hobby for many years but just new to Den of Angels. My doll collection are small dolls mainly OB11 dolls (I'm not sure if they are counted as BJD)

I love small dolls. I would say the biggest size I would take is 1/6 and then the smallest may be the teeny tiniest thumb size dolls.

I love to dress up and do makeup on my dolls. I'm happy to be part of this community. I look forward to growing my hobby more here

I don't collect big dolls but only collect small 1/8 and 1/12 dolls. 1/6 size is already big for me so I could not imagine owning bigger dolls.

I think the reason I like this size is because of thumbelina. I've always wanted to have my own since I'm a little child. Having palm size dolls also are very handy. You can bring them in your bag everyday. Holding them in my palm is very satisfying for me. Also, I like child-like dolls and not so much attracted to adult or teenage ones. So I guess that's also one of the reasons.

 

I like 1/12 and 1/8 size dolls. My favorite size is lati yellow but I have a lot of OB11 dolls. I recently liked lati white dolls. I've also been eyeing very small thumb size ones

Ohhh!!! before I thought 1/6 are already big dolls since I liked the small, small ones. But after joining the group, just found out that 1/6 is considered tiny doll also! I have not seen bigger bjds in person yet

 

I really wish I could sew like you. I feel lucky though that there are many 1/8 and 1/12 size clothes and shoes available to buy now

 

really looking to own lati white dolls and maybe puki puki. I am still waiting on my marketplace access. That's actually the reason why i joined den of angels - hoping to adopt more lati yellows and white size dolls from the second hand market

wow thank you for sharing those! I am not familiar with other dolls that are 1/12 or 1/8 aside from lati yellows and whites - learning that there are more to find get me so excited! I am so happy to be here!
