~20cm Dolls Timtim arrives

In october I ordered Granado's new tiny doll Timtim. I really fell for the super cute open mouthed face, it looks like they're ready to stuff it full of candy. That and it's a tiny but it has double joints. So I joined in on their early bird pre order, and then the waiting game began.

Last friday I finally received a notice to come pick them up from the post office (and pay customs )


Hello box. It had a lot of tape wrapped around it, I guess we can be sure noting will fall out accidentally?

A nice box though, it could be used to house both the doll and some clothes and accessories. Lets see what's under the foam...

I ordered the lab eyes Gradano offered. They are really nice irl, unfortunately lamp light and a phone camera don't really do them justice.


Improvised wig so they won't have to be bald while we wait for the actual wig to arrive. I think it's pretty nice considering it was some left over faux fur and 20 minutes of work.

Unfortunately Granado forgot to pack the extra hands, but I've already gotten message from them that they will send them to me.

 

The poseability is what really won me over. Most tinies are single jointed but Timtim is double jointed. The joints are rally easy to get in position, you can make them do all kinds of crazy things. The only real 'problem' is that due to the huge head, when you lie them down in their back they are really planking on their head and heels. One of the legs has the tendency to react to this by kicking up in the air.
