Cats. My friend was taking photos of my Zerase last night...

Every time we get the camera out, the cats think it's about them. (For good reason, but still.)




So then another cat shows up...




And then the first comes back...




And the third cat gets into the act too...

 

Most little background things I clone-stamp out when possible, or blur the background, etc. But when I took a series of pix the other day in a field of tall grasses and weeds, it wasn't until I was resizing that I noticed the embarrasing placement of a particular plant in the foreground! I thought it was too funny and just didn't use the shot in the gallery shoot.

After sharing it in email with a friend, she observed something else I hadn't -- "And he pees green!"

*groan....* And this poor fellow is the same one that I did a whole photostory shoot with last year and never noticed that the pants he was wearing with the snap-top fly were otherwise completely open down the front. Not good for an Iplehouse-endowed guy. It's a cosmic conspiracy--

 

I was trying to get some nice pictures of Riona while I was out in a park with some friends. However, taking pictures while your friends are chasing rabbits has some downsides:



That red blurry man (right side of her head) was not supposed to be there! Actually, the vague black thing in the upper left corner wasn't supposed to be there either, it's someone wearing a long black coat...

Same with this one. The junk in the background actually was intentionally part of the shoot (the shoot starts out with a whole bunch of crap in the background and slowly the stuff "disappears" aka the shots get less and less cluttered until they're in a clean space...) but my laptop was not meant to be there. Agh~!

I was trying to take pics of Ryuichi's new gold tennis shoes. I didn't notice the cop car zooming past until AFTER I had taken this pic!

Here's a wonderful moody shot I got of my boy Rei at the (cold) seaside in England. Uninvited guest: the wooden chip fork on the right. Classy.

 

I think I would die of old age (oldER age?) if I 'shopped out all the errors in my photos. Even 4 1/2 years ago I think I knew, somehow, that it was going to be a losing battle, so I ran with it.

Not only is Yuki in unflattering wig and too-short pants (to say nothing of awkward pose) but the poor mistreated Sakura Wars doll is, um... missing some stuff. Like her lower arms and, um.... well. You get the picture.


(and as a postscript: I finally FOUND the arms to that doll last summer when cleaning out the younger kid's room so that we could paint it! Never did locate her undies, though...)

 

This is a bit of an older picture now, but it still works. It was only after I'd taken all the pics, gotten home and was looking at them on my computer that I noticed that I'd accidentally left my Sprite bottle in the picture

 

Innocent, unsuspecting bypassers there was a LOT of these pics in this shoot.

Also notice the three men on a smoking break behind the gas station |D

Another one, didn't put my girl far enough when she left the scene in a photostory. Luckily I caught her shoes peeking out there before finishing the rest of the story ^^;

 

I've been trying out another camera (since mine decided it's not on speaking terms with its battery) - took several pix in a row, to catch hair movement, and in case 1 or more were blurry -- The fly sitting on her hand must have been just taking the fly equivalent of a breather, since it's not in the pic before or after --

 

Look closely at the bottom left-ish area and see if you can spot the tripod legs. >x>;

 

My husband was helping with posing, but didn't step back far enough - so I shot him.



He looks so out of place - a giant in the doll's world.
