I spy with my little eye...my little sister, a shirt, clip board, pencil, erasers, important form, telephone and knife. And a pen, plastic bags, and a paper plate.


And during the whole shoot, the stalker waterbottle, napkin holder, and salt and pepper shakers. I forgot they were there.

Ahaha ... for random junk, what better place to look than a kitchen counter?





Thankfully, these were never meant to be "nice" photos ... merely sneak peeks to show some curious friends the outfit I was currently making for my doll. (The whole concept is still a work-in-progress at the moment.) Poor Vyvyan himself was doing his darndest to try and make his surroundings look good, but there just isn't much you can do against -- among other things -- two kettles, a lava lamp, a ragtag army of plastic water bottles, and a lavender blankie with lip-prints all over it.

 

I usually don't keep pics with "mistakes" but I rather liked this one with the tiger in the grass. Can you spot him?

The yard is much tidier now - honest!

 

I took this picture knowing I'd have to photoshop out the Christmas tree in the background, but I took a second look at the photo and thought it could work as a holiday shot. Then I spotted the little purple bag in the lower left hand corner. And the black line attacking the Christmas tree. That comes from a fish hanging on the wall.

 

I loved the pose and the wind in my doll's hair in this pic, but there was alot wrong here....

#1 - strangers!
#2 - a dead fish. Welcome to Lake Erie.
#3 - my flip flops. Considering the fish, I can't believe I took them off!

 

this was the first picture i ever took of my doll i was trying to sit her on the couch and she tipped backwards in this cute pose like OMG dont tke my picture you'll stela my soul kinda pose...but the white light timer box in the background pisses me of!

As for what's wrong with THIS picture, I think the stranger thing is that despite the Pullip and two Steiff bears lurking in the bottom corner, the thermostat growing out of Vyvyan's shoulder, and Sweeney Todd glowering menacingly in the background, what bothers me most about the photo is actually the yellowish shadow cast on the wall.



I am sorry, Vyv darling. One of these days when I have more time, I will give you a proper photoshoot.
