I don't know why there is green in these photos.. does anyone have a clue what could have caused it? I love them. But it looks like someone took a highlighter and scribbled all over them.
Did you white balance your camera? Different lights throw off different color. Fluorescent lighting throws off green light. The energy saving bulb next to doll looks like fluorescent.
I would adjust the white balance on the camra and change the lighting. Although it is a pain, natural light does work best for showing the true colors of your doll.
You could also tweak them in photoshop afterwards. I tend to do that with my photos, since I used to have a really crappy camera. ^_^;;;;
Most cameras have a setting for what kind of light you're shooting in - outdoor, indoor, flash, etc. It's important to set this, as it sets the white balance of the camera. Some cameras also have a white balance that you can adjust yourself or have the camera adjust. As has already been said, you can also adjust this with Photoshop, too.
I'm still getting it, after playing aroud with the white balance :/ I am a little confused, because often *one* side or angle of her face will have great colors, while the other side has the greenish/yellowish hue to it! Like in this photo-- the left side is really nice, while the right has this strange little yellow ring around her eye. But with flash it shows up less/not at all, so I think it is the light, which makes me a little dissapointed.. my $80 camera functions better with this light than my $320 camera! >_< But I probably have to find the right settings for it. There are so many settings. I could play with them all day. xD I also do not like the flash as much, because I have less control over the light and the shadows are less dramatic. Should I go for more red or blue in white balance? Blue seemed to make everything greener, but red made the contrast between her pink skintone and the random patches of yellowy green more extreme.
