The cafe set is a number of different things that I've collected over the years. I don't know who made the table and chairs, but the other accessories are older Sophia's accessories intended for dolls like American Girl. The roses are from Dollmore!

Posing took a lot of work and a little luck. The Iplehouse elbow piece helped a lot, as did the thigh mobility joint. Holding the roses was the biggest challenge. The kiss wasn't too bad, but I did have to prop up Eva on top of a couple old Atari 2600 video game cartridges so Eva's lips would reach Leah's lips. I also used the Atari games to lift the table slightly.

If you look closely, you can see the Atari games under the table. Plus, you can see bits of silicone earplug in the shot of Eva holding the drink.

Leah is truly gifted with her height! She's taller than some male dolls, especially with high heels. The good thing with Leah is that she's a lot more stable with high heel feet than with flat feet. The ankle portion of the high heel foot has little notches to help keep it in place. It helps a lot.

These ladies have been dating for about 10 years, so I have had a lot of time to get used to posing them together. It's not always the easiest, but I do what I can. Kisses between the lady BJDs can be difficult with the busts getting in the way, but thankfully Leah and Eva aren't too terribly obstructed in that regard. Trying to get my other ladies to kiss is a lot trickier

 

Well, the Dollmore Model Doll is a bit unique of a body. They make lots of different types of bodies. My Model Leah is the only Dollmore doll I have, though. Maybe I'll get another one day, but I'm happy with my dolly family as it is now. I understand what you mean about the SD16 feet. I'd say you're right that it's a similar situation. The SD16 one piece part is very attractive and has that as an advantage over the Dollmore setup.

Yes! 10 years! Well, in real life time anyway. I'm not super particular about time that has passed in the story universe. I just enjoy having my ladies be in love

Eva actually has the large bust. I decided to go with the large bust instead of the glamour bust on the recommendation of a friend. Leah has the standard Dollmore Model Doll bust which has distinct definition in the breasts but they're not the biggest. With Leah's moderately sized breasts and the overall shapes of the two sculpts in the upper body in general, the Leah and Eva are able to have their lips meet (or come close which I can often hide with angles) fairly easily. In the story in this topic, Eva's breasts actually positioned under Leah's breasts. That's what I'm talking about with the general shapes of the upper body.

Unlike nYID Olivia (large, maybe glamour bust, I forget) and EID Jessica (large bust) where getting their lips close is a challenge. I had to turn Olivia to the side and angle her leaning forwards in this shot. Not that this was supposed to be a kiss, but it's pretty close and closer than other attempts I've done.

 

Thank you so much! nYID Olivia's lingerie is a particular older Iplehouse lingerie. I don't remember the specific name of it. EID Jessica's lingerie is the Iplehouse Pink Lady lingerie set. It is a very beautiful set, and I want to find an excuse to use it again because the full set has pin-on bows that are cute in contrast to the sexy and revealing looks of the rest of the lingerie.

I looked up the Soom Super Gem. If I found the right photo, I can see a kind of resemblance to the Dollmore Model Doll! The body proportions are pretty mature and slender. Model Doll has the legs for days, though

I believe I've seen Ami Ayase in person, too. I know I've seen SD16 dolls. They are quite the beautiful sight. Sadly, they were so impossible to get back when I wanted them, so I ended up with Iplehouse dolls instead. I'm happy with them, so I never got an SD16

Thank you about the condition of my dolls. I know they've yellowed a bit over the years, but I'm happy with how well they've aged. My Dollmore Model Doll Leah did suffer a broken finger, but I was able to put it back together pretty well. That's the only breakage my dolls ever had. I think the only other damage was EID Jessica got a small mark on her behind. I was upset at the time, but now it gives her character

Yes, SID Eva has the large bust. What I love about Iplehouse's mature woman sculpts is how unique they all are. They have different shapes, and parts of them are accentuated in different ways. nYID with the fairly thick hourglass figure with amazingly sculpted breasts, SID with the rather fit though not muscular body, and EID with the American pinup art proportions. The way the Model Doll and SID breasts positioned in the kiss photo did help some with the stability of the pose. Eva wasn't using a doll stand for the kiss. I had to do everything I could to get them positioned as close as possible for the kiss

I've been fortunate to get so many Iplehouse lingerie sets. I have many that haven't been available in years. I just dressed my Eva in one this afternoon. I'll show it off at the doll meet on Saturday

I looked up Spiritdoll Proud. It looks like they have old and new style bodies now. I don't know which one is which, but one has a bigger waist. Leah's Model Doll body seems to be a bit slimmer. But I'm sure there would still be plenty of crossover. Only things that would be super fitted to the body would really matter. I do like the Proud bust options! They all have beautiful breasts.

I don't even know what Volks was doing for SD16 in Japan. Weren't they only lottery dolls? I don't know. But like you said, they're quite the sight to admire.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Go Topless Day comparison pics I'll also be getting the newer, slimmer JID body when my Alice arrives. Of course, she's a little girl, so she'll be covered up. I am excited for more clothes options, though. The older JID body is kind of large.
