We loved the amount of effort you put into photographing your doll. Choosing a doll with extra joints was a fun and ambitious choice, and we really liked the black outline. Great job!

The vintage feel of your little doll was perfect for the decorated sheet you created, and your choice of poses and jointing was excellent. A very cohesive presentation!

Also, thank you mods, for imagining such great contests this year. I've really enjoyed all the creating I've done this past month. Thanks for pushing me to make things I may not have had the motivation to do on my own. And thank you to all my fellow contestants for being so enthusiastic, helpful, and encouraging. The sportsmanship this year was really impressive! :)

    20. Gosh, this year's entries for everything just blew me away. It's just kind of amazing how many cool doll things got made around here in just a few weeks!

Thanks so much to the mod team for running all this, and thanks for placing me in the paper doll contest! It was a lot of fun, and I loved seeing all the entries. I'm going to try and find a good place to upload my full-size paper doll file so that people can download it and print their own ghosts if they want to ^__^

    21. i want to echo what everyone else is saying - both with the level of skill of the winners and thanking the mods for running these contests. i've enjoyed entering them in the past, though i've never placed before - so finding my girl up there in the winner's circle is exciting. maybe next time i'll finally get up the courage to try out the triathlon!

    22. Omg!!!! Congrats to you and Dragon! Wow!!!! I was so excited to see her there!!! Congrats again!!!!!! :D

      ~Bambi

    23. Congratulations all winners (and all participants)! Gosh, there is so much creative talent on this forum...I'm in awe! :daisy

    24. :aeyepop:Wow...uh, just wow... :ablink: I feel like we need a fainting emote now.

First things first: mods, you're awesome! I know it goes without saying, but it's worth saying anyway. I can't imagine how much work this was. Thank you!!! :abow:

To everyone who competed- you're awesome, too! I thought there was an amazing amount of talent out there, and there are some super-cool projects in these threads. I'm not a hugging type, but all of you get this :hug::hug:

For those who took the time to post about their experiences while working on the triathalon, you get an extra thank you. I would periodically have to re-check something in the rules and read a few posts while I was here. It was really heartening knowing that I wasn't stressed out and frantically crafting alone! :cheer

I've never had the extra time to be able to compete in any of the contests before- usually I don't even have enough time to vote!- so it was really fun to get to enter this year. I feel like I've been through an awful lot with DoA; ten years is a long time after all. I've had my Lusis for most of that time (and been in love with her for all of it!) so the theme this year was great, too. The wings were fun, the niche was kind of awful until it all came together at the last minute, and the book was just horrifying since I'd never even thought about making a book, but I'm proud I finished it all. This was quite an anniversary!

    25. Wow!! Everyone did a great job!!

    26. The contests were super fun to watch and vote in. Thank you so much mod team for hosting everything for us! So many awesome things were made and I was happy to be able to participate for once Congrats to all of you talented people, both the winners and everyone who participated.

    27. :aeyepop: Oh my goodness! I'm just so stunned! My hands are actually shaking! > u <

Thank you!! Thank you to the moderators for all their hard work and dedication in organising the whole event, putting up with all the questions and creating such awesome competitions, and thank you to the generous companies who donated such wonderful prizes~:aheartbea:aheartbea:aheartbea

And :hug:for everyone who participated! There were so many amazing entries and so many talented people. I really hope everyone has fun making things for their dolls and is proud of what they accomplished! I don't normally have the motivation to do such 'intense' crafting, but popping online and reading words of encouragement, the buzz of enthusiasm and hearing little snippets of people's projects was so exciting! It spurred me on and kept me going when I would have normally given up! :whee:

And a big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote! :D

    28. :dance congratulations everyone!! All of the this year's entries were amazing!

    34. These were some great contests. Huge, huge thanks to everyone who made it possible, the mods, the companies and sponsors of the prizes and of course to all those who participated. And…and…and.. I'm still speechless because I can't believe that I am among the winners :o, I think I'll need more time to fully realize this. No seriously, I'll be back when I've gathered my wits again.

    35. so many congratulations to those who placed!
there were so many wonderful entries in each contest, I'm always just blown away by the talent that I see around me all the time in this hobby, and I'm honored to have competed alongside those that participated in the triathlon this year.

and as others have already said, thanks so much to the forum staff for putting all this on, it has truly been a pleasure.
I've been rather stuck creatively for some time now, and thanks to the inspiring theme of this year's triathlon I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel so I can dig my way out and start creating again.
so again, thank you. this has all meant more to me than you know.
