It's been a long wait due to various things, but my twin doll is finally finished! She started with the keyword HAZE, and after thinking about how to embody her nature of distortion of light, I settled on the image of a kintsugi, although in terms of the setting, it's not like she's piecing something broken together, but her essence is leaking out through the cracks. ...Yeah, I have a habit of coming up with an image I like first and then attaching some weird meaning to it, haha X°D. Anyway, here's a quick shot of her, welcoming her in. For the wig, I specially ordered a fashion doll style, and it's so beautiful. And her twin waiting to be body brushed. I'll be able to shoot them together soon X3
@quilleth I'm glad you like it! It's a very versatile face X3 @mmilena Haha, her face actually reminds me quite a bit of a fashion doll, so I made a fashion doll wig and put it on her, and she looks like a skinny, elongated 1/3 fashion doll, which I think gives her a different appeal.
@Girlfriend7 Thanks! I commissioned a faceup from an artist I'm always indebted to, and she was perfect this time X>
So beautiful! The captured movement adds an ethereal feel and perfectly underlines the doll's perfect appearance.
@Arengil Wow, I really enjoyed reading all three of your comments! I feel like if I left a response to each of the three, I'd be pushing the other posts too much, so I'll just answer them here instead. First of all, I'm so glad you noticed the story and atmosphere in my photos, and for the horror ones, it's actually the first time in a long time that I've shot with a simple plot in mind (although the story is pretty loose, since I'm more used to shooting episodic images, lol). As for the titles, I usually think of them in my native language and then write them with the help of a translator, which always leaves me with some anxiety in terms of communicability, so this comment was a bit of a relief. I think it's people like you that make photographing dolls more fun, so thanks again, have a great day! >♡<
