Star stops outside the grocery store on a windy day to check her receipt.

She sighs at the price of being different.

    3. If anyone is having trouble viewing the pictures, a short description:
Photo 1: A blue doll with six arms is standing outside looking down at a piece of paper in one of her six hands.
Photo 2: A close up of the hand holding the piece of paper reveals it to be a shopping receipt. The receipt is for snacks, three things of deodorant, and three packages of hand soap.

    4. Way too funny! I love this!

    5. Thanks. I'm glad you like her. I think she came together really well in the end. :)

If the photos weren't showing that's the DoA image caching bug. :( If they're just too small larger one are available at the link at the top of my post. If it was still just too hard to read the receipt, yeah my printer was at its limits printing a 2pt font for a 1/4 scale grocery receipt.

Thanks. Just another random bit of humor that popped into my head. :XD: Glad you enjoyed it.

    6. That image bug is so annoying!
The pictures were working alright for me, but wanted to make sure people could get the humor even if the bug was acting up. It's a really fun visual joke! and Respect for committing to the 2pt type. Thank you for sharing : )

    7. Well when you have four underarms...

    8. You're welcome. And I had to break out the magnifying glass to see if the printer did it's job. :XD:

Or six in her case but that is the joke. :) Yeah I had to mount two arms on the back as the torso piece was too small for all six on the sides.

    10. Haha!! That's great! I love the tiny receipt! And your spider girl is super cute!

    11. Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the humor and her look. :)

Thanks. That tiny receipt was a surprising amount of work. Not really in the greater scheme of life of course, but more than the couple minutes I was thinking it would take to create a reasonable fake receipt. :XD:

    12. :D what a cool concept! I never considered the struggle! Sweater shopping must be even worse :(

    13. That struggle is so real! Poor girl will probably never have anything with sleeves. :XD:

    14. Have you considered knitting? Anything can be knit somehow. ;)

    15. It's a good suggestion. The cuttlefish in my avatar was made for me by crochet and I've seen similar constructs from knitting so I'm sure a six-armed sweater is possible. Sadly I lack such skills though and due to some physical limitations can't really put in the practice to develop them.

    16. Too bad your girl can't knit for you, with all those arms she'd get a whole wardrobe done in no time!:XD:
Beautiful girl by the way, I love her color too!

    17. Thanks. I really like the color too.

As for all those arms I'd also happily let her spend some of that energy cleaning the house. :XD:

    18. Ok that tiny receipt is so cute and also THERE ARE DOLLS WITH THAT MANY ARMS??!? May I ask where you got her please?? :aeyepop:

    19. Thanks. She's a custom I made. Originally the doll was offered by Soul Doll as a four arm doll with a large bust. There was an option to buy additional normal two arm busts and an additional pair of arms which I did and I took the two arm small bust and modified it to use all six arms.

    20. Oh wow you did an amazing job customizing them! You have a fan in me :) Probably took a long time but the outcome was worth it

    21. Thanks. It was pretty tedious doing all the carving of the extra arm holes by hand especially with the very odd shape required for one pair, but I agree it was worth it. I really wanted her to have six arms and am pleased with how she turned out. Glad you like her too.

    22. Super creative! Loving it:dance

    23. Thanks. Just a little fun.

    24. This is hilarious omg XD

    25. Thanks. Happy to entertain although sadly the humorous inspirations don't come as often as they used to these days. Sigh.

    26. I don't know what I was expecting, but this is delightful! (also, I love spiders, she's so cute!)

    27. Thanks. I guess the title is perhaps a little heavy or ominous for the content, but I suppose part of the pun. :XD:

    28. Lol I did not see that one coming when I saw the subject. So cute and unique :-)

    29. It's amazing how those little expenses can really add up isn't it? :XD:

    30. Ah so cute with the receipt :D

    31. Thanks. It was a surprising hassle to create and photograph a 1/4 scale receipt.

    32. LOL i love this :XD: and what a cool doll, she’s beautiful! you did an awesome job on her

    33. Thanks. It was a lot of time grinding but I'm quite happy with how she turned out as well. :)
