The member of your family that just could NEVER go....

Sep 15, 2006

    1. Byrd, hands down.

Creepy, little ghost is not going anywhere anytime soon, that's for sure. He's one of my first dolls and one of my favorite characters, so I'll always try to hold onto him. Same with Maverick though, he is next in line of dolls I wouldn't wanna give up, no matter the circumstances.

    2. Really difficult decision as there are several I would never part with. If I had no choice I would narrow it down to two. I could never ever sell Indy as he is a representation of a very important oc of mine and I adore him.

The other is Loki as he has taken lots of time, money and shear luck to get him together and I could never let him go. Oh yeah and there's the fact that I love him to bits:)

    3. Ok I lied I sold Sandalio but aside from him...I wouldn't actually sell any of my dolls...I'm happy with all of them! (granted Zach might be getting re-shelled into a tan kyle if FL ever does another tan event...but its still the same mold)

    4. This is tough because I have several that I would never let go unless it was an emergency, but I'll narrow it down to two. The first is Darius, my Soom Ender. He's not my first, and not my last, but he is very dear to me. He is just a stunning doll and he turned out exactly like how I imagined him.

The second is Mackenzie, my Soom Phonolus. It was a dream come true to be able to own him, and there are only three fullsets that Soom sold online so he is virtually irreplaceable.

    7. I'm really not the type to sell dolls in the 1st place (haven't sold one yet and have no plans on selling any). But if I did have to get rid of my dolls, Chulyen would be the one I would have the hardest time letting go of. He's the 1st doll I bought, the 1st doll I played with. I'd never seen a BJD in RL until he arrived. I remember the excitement and awe I felt when he arrived.

Now, about 10 years and many dolls later, he's still my favorite. I think I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for him.

    8. As most people have said I would have alot of trouble selling my dolls but Grigoriy goes no where. Not only is he one of my favorite OC's, my first doll, the most spoiled, and been through the most with me....my husband bought him for me as an engagement present. Nope not going anywhere.

    9. I have a several favorits.
Vampire hunter D, he was one of my first dolls and I'd love him.

And his beloved lady, Giselle. I think about D and Gisell like about one doll, they're my first doll couple so they have my fave.

Another one is my fairytale princess Elga, my husband's present. What's why she's very special for me.

    10. It would be Lilja (Lati blue Shaina).
Normal story: She was my first BJD and has a personality of her own. She means a lot to me.

    11. It's Max. Joe was the first doll that I considered a grail--the first I kept looking back at longingly, and decided my first doll would eventually be reshelled as. I culled almost all of my initial crew (I think there were around thirteen of them?!) to get him after a particularly bad event. I'm doing another small-scale culling at the moment, but Max is safe and always will be. I can't even think about selling him. We've been on so many ridiculous adventures. I dragged him 11,000 feet up a mountain. I dragged him into the middle of a lava field. I've taken him to some weird places, and all those silly wonderful memories are firmly attached to him.

    12. Don't even have to think about this one, really.
My love at first sight, first bought doll, Isamu.

He's wearing his 7th face-up now, as far as I remember, because I used to drag him everywhere haha, for that reason, he is the very well known fairyland white skin yellow :p but I don't dare to replace his head haha.

    13. I've got two adorable little Soomlings, a DC Alberta, a DZ Moment, two Minifees, a gorgeous one-of-a-kind Iplehouse Chimera Luna, an amazing LE Luts ZuZu Delf Griffon Lio and more, but...

I could never get rid of my Bobobie Apollo, Amadeus:

Not only was he my first doll, but I recently realized he was also the very first BJD sculpt I ever laid eyes on. I purchased him not knowing that the Apollo sculpt was the first BJD I'd ever seen, and it took me owning him for three years to figure that out.

I'm not sure what it is about him that draws me to him so much. I have dolls that are more expressive, dolls that pose better, dolls with skin tones I like more, dolls with nicer face-ups, and anthro dolls, which I typically prefer over human ones. Despite all that, Ami's still my favorite, and if I ever have to get rid of the bulk of my dolls for some reason, he'll stick around no matter what.
