Aesthetics The Longest To-Do List (long term completion project)

I've seen people do these before as a way to stay motivated, so figured why not. I could use some motivation. 8| But, I'm not limiting myself to just the year. I know there's no way to complete everything in a year, especially since there are a lot of needed bodies on this list lmao. Wasn't sure which tag would be best, so chose aesthetics since that's what I mostly do myself.

I have my own dolls, plus some of my mom's and sister's to work on, so lists are under spoilers cause they're long (and are in separate posts because they exceed the character limit when combined lmao). And mine has everyone separated into their little groups, like on my profile. No one's a higher priority than anyone else, they'll get done when they get done lmao.

Might end up making project journals for certain dolls/groups or I might just post everything in here. We'll see what happens. I also have to relearn how to sew...and learn how to sculpt since I won't be able to find some of the props I need lmao. Might also have to learn how to make shoes...
Looking forward to putting someone in the completed section, though. Gonna be a nice feeling. :'D

Thank you! I'm slow, too. I've had my first doll a little over 14 years and he's still not complete lmao (though, I kept changing my mind on things about him which didn't help). But, he's also probably going to be one of the most daunting projects on the list, since I'll have to make everything he needs (except the body lol). But, he can wait til he gets a body, he's been waiting this long XD

Welp, no picture updates (cause I need to actually get some pics), but the doll family has grown. I had to split up the list lmao
I recently acquired an Angelsdoll Baku, 5th Motif Venitu, Dollstown Hwan, Doll in Mind Minimee Brad Pitt/Nobility Doll Emotional Body 70D hybrid, Spirit Doll Proud male body, Luts/CP Delf Vampire Dark Elf Soo head, and a Dollshe SA Hound head. Also waiting on a Fairyland PukiFee Mio. They were all very good deals, price wise, so I couldn't help but get them lol. I also got some more eye making supplies.

The Baku will, hopefully, be one of my elder vampire characters. He needs a new faceup (the one he came with is pretty bad, ngl), as well as a short white wig and yellow/gold eyes. I also need some ice cream props for him, cause he really likes ice cream lmao

No idea what the plans are for Venitu, he was never planned, but he'll be getting a new faceup as I've realized, after looking at hundreds of pics on IG, that I prefer more intense looking Venitus and don't really care for facial hair on the sculpt.

Won't be keeping the Hwan head, but will be keeping the Dollstown 18 Year body he came with. I'm trying to decide if I like how my Namonaki Mikkel looks on it. Would probably be easier if he actually had a wig that fits and I had suits that fit the body lmao

Also don't plan on keeping the Brad Pitt head, but thinking the Nobility Doll body will go to my Switch Soseo (even though I didn't want him that tall, but he looks good on it lol). Also considered giving it to my Illusion Spirit Tosaca, but I think I prefer him on the Dollshe DSAM32s body...

The Spirit Doll body will either go to my DIM Minimee Sakurai Atsushi, IoS Jaguar, or maybe Switch Soseo. Jaguar fits on it really well, but he's paler/pinker (if he gets it, my Luts 08Man would get the SSDF body). Soseo also fits on it, but the neck could be modded a bit for a better fit (it's already modded some). The color match between the two is pretty much perfect, though. The neck is long for Sakurai, but there's good mobility and the color match is pretty decent. The broader shoulders also help, since he's a large head and looks pretty bobble headed on his Minimee body (if he gets it, then my Minimee Elf Event head would get the Minimee body). I think I need to take pics of each of them on it and compare that way lol

The Vampire Dark Elf Soo head has been heavily modded. Here's her previous owner's project journal so you can see what she looks like! (she looks exactly like the very last two pics) Poor thing no longer has her fangs, so I need to figure out the best way to give her those back, but she still has the rest of her teeth. I'm planning to do her in a galaxy theme, like my Soom Glot, which means she'll end up with some sort of animal feet (thinking the Resinsoul Ai body, so I can get it in a fun color and paint her to match to help hide any additive mods).

The Dollshe SA Hound head has no plans, I've just always wanted a Hound and he was inexpensive (and legit!). Thinking about the Resinsoul 70cm/Long body for him, though. I've heard the Light Tan/Coffee color is pretty close to Dollshe Copper Oriental.

Also got a couple of bookcases, which I need to build, for the dolls to be relocated to. Their current display situation is over full lmao

Got some viscose fiber to make wigs with. The white is for Alex, Dakarai, and Rama (he'll also get a darker color or two). The black is for Ásbjörn (if it's long enough), Haru, and Toraji. The blues are for Mudai (who's switching from Delf Moon to AoD Chen). The browns/blond are for Hannibal. And, of course, I'll use left overs for any other wigs I might want to make.

Speaking of wigs, Dante got a wig, a Monique Buttercup in red. I'll get pics when he has his faceup (it gave me problems and I had to wipe my progress ).
Rasui also got a wig, just need to tame it a bit (the pink is more prominent in person). It's a little big, but they didn't have that one in a 7-8. That's what rubber bands are for lol

And, on the PukiFee front, Mio arrived (after a few detours on the way). Her name his Phoebe The faceup is damaged, mostly nose/lips, but I'm hoping I can just remove the worst of it and keep the eyes/brows since they're still in great shape. If not, then I'll be painting a tiny face. She came with the pink wig shown, not sure if she's going to keep it. It's a hard cap and fits her perfectly, but it's also a lot of hair. I might thin it, if she keeps it. Also not sure on the eyes. They're what I had on hand that fit lol

Got a Resinsoul Yao from DDE for my galaxy group. She's in light tan, it's more of a greyish tone than the warm toned light tan I usually see from RS. She arrived with some issues (show in the spoiler), the main ones being prominent sanding scratches on her forehead and a little chip in her nose. I'm thinking I might give her a mask-like faceup to help hide the chip/scratches (hoping her wig will hide most of the forehead scratches, she's getting a multicolor mohair one from Natrume...which has shipped, but it's currently delayed)

I've wanted an old Hound since 2006, and he has a SDink faceup, so he's kind of an ultimate grail (now I just need to find an old Husky and Bermann to complete my 2006 desires. one day lmao). Excited to figure out who he is. Not sure if he'll be keeping the wig and eyes.

He was going to go on an Impldoll Idol body that I have on order, but this body has a thicker neck than most of my heads can use lol. Soseo on the Spirit Doll Proud. I like how he looks on it, though it makes him taller than I initially planned (was thinking 65ish instead of 70, since there are already two 70cm boys in that group and his sister is only going to be about 58cm lol). His head likes to snap when positioning it, so I might try sueding or modding the neck a bit. Also really need to restring him, he's so loose he didn't want to stand. Maybe he had a hard day being a rock star lol

I got an old Fantasy Doll body and Rune won the color matching contest, so he got it. I think I want to get a proper neck connector for him, though. Currently have a taped bundle of toothpicks holding his head on lmao. I probably need to get neck connectors for all my Type 2 Delf and FeePle heads (except one, since he has one lol).

General Things That Need Doing
Got some stands to test out. Want to try & attach them to my shelves with magnets. So far, they’ve been holding up Cian and my DZ Deer very well.
Got some secondhand clothes/wigs/shoes that arrived with a strong mildew smell. They’ve been washed multiple times (except the shoes), stored with baking soda, and then activated charcoal. It’s been a long battle that I’ve been losing. Though, setting them outside for several hours seemed to help….except the sun melted shoe/boot glue and now I have to fix them. :/
Also got some other secondhand clothes/wigs/shoes that are in better shape, as well as some new stuff (mainly shoes…and screaming chickens for the tinies lol)
Got a secondhand 70cm Resinsoul body that ended up not matching anyone. So, it’s just hanging out til we decide what to do with it lmao

The Fan Dolls
Hannibal (Namonaki Mikkel) - Decided he’s keeping the Dollstown 18 body. Need to find a suit pattern for it, so I can make his suits. If anyone knows of one, please let me know ;;

Ásbjörn (Granado V-07) - Large 2021 Impl order arrived, so I gave him the Idol TGB body I had wanted for him originally. I think he looks better on it than the Nobility Doll body. Body was restrung, along with all of the other large Impl bodies in that order (the elastic included was too short). Needs a new faceup since he’s way over blushed lol

Rasui (RD Ashford·EVO) - Same as Rama, but he’s a god of dreams.

Nirav (DS David) - Finally arrived after over two years of waiting. He got thicker elastic than what was provided. Nirav is a forest god.

Loren (DF-H Bennett) - Faceup finished, though I might decide to give him upper lashes later. He’s currently wearing a Monique wig, haven’t decided if that’s going to change. He got some shorts & jeans from ACBJD a while ago. Also got him a cute camera & some colorful socks.

? (Ninodoll Bada) - New arrival. He’s claimed one of my Fantasy Doll bodies. I think he’s going to reshell Freckles, a Delf Chiwoo I sold a long time ago cause I didn’t want to try matching the freckles on his body to his existing faceup (which I didn’t want to wipe cause it was cute) & who knows when I’ll find a Chiwoo again. If that’s what happens, then he has a wig (though it’s a bit large & needs to be restyled after being in storage for forever). I didn’t keep Freckles’ eyes for some reason I’m stupid, so I’ll have to figure out eyes.

Sound (FL FeePle60 Juri 2012) - Her Impl Star body arrived, but their Real Skin is a lot paler than it was when I compared in 2020, so I ended up trading bodies with my mom’s Impl Alberta (who somehow looked fine on the lighter colored body lol). She stole the Kitty’sBJDHouse pants I had gotten for Rio (he looked obscene in them lmao). Am very happy they fit, since I have no other bottoms that fit her XD

Phoebe (FL PKF Mio) - Gave her the eyes that came with my Bobobie Lucky. I think they’re a cuter look than the blue ones were. New wig ordered, plus a pair of super cute shoes. Faceup repair in progress. I forgot to get a picture of her before I wiped the lower half of her faceup. I’ll get one when she’s painted and her wig is here lol

Joey (TDF Hansel) - He got a Kemper Tomboy wig. Had also gotten one for Chandler but it was too big.

? (5th Motif Venitu) - Haven’t decided on a name, but he’s going to be a mage/magic user. He also got a Natrume wig. It was meant for Kusuriuri, but it was way too much hair for his small face & not quite the color I was hoping. Still haven’t fixed his magnets cause they won’t come out lmao

? & ? (Volks Ayumu) - New arrival. Twins! They’re humanoid forms of dragon familiars. The girl has eyes I like for her (the purple), but I need to find/make eyes for the boy. Got her a secondhand Huajing body. Color’s not a perfect match & neck’s a bit small, but I still think she’s cute on it lol. She’s going to keep the faceup she has, but the boy’s default will be getting wiped. It’s nice, but worn in places and too brown toned. He also needs a red & black wig, which I can’t seem to find one I like in his size, so debating adding red to the Ringdoll one he’s wearing in the pic.

? (Volks SD13 Williams) - New arrival, one of my grails. He has an AngelToast faceup (his box was signed by Volks staff c: ). Gave him the Spiritdoll Proud body, since I felt his head looked kinda big on his SD13 one (Cian got it). The wig is Monique & the eyes Dollmore. He’s keeping the wig (matches his eyebrows perfectly, it was meant to be lol). The eyes are staying for now, but I might change them later if I find others I prefer. No name yet & still working on character.

? (Soom Dia) - New arrival, another grail of sorts. He got a Miro 66cm body, gave the Super Gem girl body he came on to my mom. He’ll be losing the pretty default faceup, I want a more intense Dia lmao
