The Little Mermaid Girl (Soom SO Rico Jr)

I've had a little mermaid girl planned for a while, one part of the quartet of elemental demi-gods from my fantasy world Alourin. When Soom released Serin & Rico in Teenie Gem form with light purple as a resin color, I knew it was meant to be! ^_^ She arrived yesterday: December 5, 2016.

So without further ado, here is Aria Eathelyn Coral, the half-Mermaid daughter of the Goddess of water.


My Soom box with a curious kitty inspecting it! That is my late Mother-in-law's kitty, now our kitty. Her name is Sissy and she is about 21-years-old! A very old, but very spunky and sweet kitty-cat.

All my goodies! :3 I got a wig in the wig sale that I am probably just going to save for a future doll. I also got some eyes, bloomers, and extra face protectors.

Her eyes. Not sure I'm 100% sold on these yet. We shall see.


The gorgeous dark blue, pearlescent mermaid tail! I love this tail!! It is such a pretty color, almost has a bit of purple in it! Really fantastic scale-type texture, and that pearlescent sheen! Amazing! I haven't put it on her yet, but I will this weekend for sure!

Her with her little shell ears. They are clear resin, so I'll have to send them to the face-up artist to get blushed. They're really cute though!

Allow me to introduce: the Little Mermaid demi-goddess, Aria!


The cat sniffing around near Aria. She's not terribly interested in her, which is probably good.


Trying on wigs! Here's the wig I bought at the same time as her. It's really hard to tell that the color is a kind-of caramel brown. It's pretty, but not right for Aria.


A shorter, blond wig. This one is cute (and belongs to one of my other dolls), but she's not really a blond girl either.


This is a dark-gray wig that belongs to my OE Bygg, Luna. I think this one will be her temporary wig until I get her one of her own.

One last photo! You can see her little teeth, which I'm not 100% sure I love... but I'll talk with her face-up artist and see what I wanna do. Either way, she's adorable!

Thank you! I like the gray too, but I am thinking of going with something more black... maybe with blue highlights. I'm not sure yet.

We know she's definitely at least 21 or 22. My husband and his mom got her when she was a kitten, and that was a little over 21-years-ago. She's a really great cat and we love her dearly!

I never thought I would be either! I never imagined I'd want gray or any other fantasy color resin, but the more photos I saw, I started to like the different colors. Anyway, I'm glad you like her! ^_^
