The Latidoll yellow clothing thread

Does Judy have shoes that fit both the Lati yellow and the Lati white dolls as I have both of those on order? Do the special body yellows take a different size than the regular yellow as my doll will be on the special body?

 

Yes, the shoe sizes are different.

Let me go measure my girls, and let you know the size. I have Riley shoes on my Lati Yellow (regular) and I think Bethany shoes on my SP Lati Yellow Momo.

But let me go check and get back to you.

My 2 Laches yellow dolls are my Christmas present to me, they are so cute. I love Lati's clothes.

I try Ixtee Combat Boots. I purchased them on Ebay and I'm so
pleased!! I think with socks, they'd be too snug- although I didn't try it.

I see that Lati now makes SP yellow girl shoes, but nothing for boys yet.

I just received some tights, shorts and leggings from Fakeblondie in Germany. And they are really lovely. I'm most impressed with her quick service, and really reasonable postage costs.

As for the clothes, they are great, nicely finished and the price is brilliant. I will certainly buy from her again in the future.

There seems to be quite a few options for girl clothes. Where do you all get clothes for the yellow sp boys? Also, I'm looking for patterns for t-shirt and jeans.

 

You really have to make them up yourself to be honest. I have found that DJ Kish clothes work for my Lati Yellow Sp though, so that's worth a look. There are quite a few cute DJ clothes.

Here is a photo of Jesse (Yellow SP.Benny) with his two brothers, in jeans that I made for him. They are a bit girly because I orginally made them for his sister Milly (Cookie), I need to make some just for him.

Thankyou, I made that for him. In fact apart from the white jeans which I saved from my childhood Sindy, I made all the clothes they are wearing!!!!

 

I bought some Vintage Tutti and Todd Patterns on ebay and surprisingly they fit Lati Yellow. I made this from the Patterns.

 

I bet they are cute - the photo won't come up.

I didn't realize there was a pattern made for these dolls.

If you can get ahold of some Dolly Dolly magazines there are patterns in there for lati yellow. I have a few older patterns here. My last pair of Lati Yellow jeans sold earlier this week, and I won't have time to make another batch until late May.

What size boneka fits the Sp Body? I have read that some people mention that the riley size works, while others say that this size is to small and that the boneka for the 8 ½ inch Heidi Plusczok dolls is a better fit.

Also have any of you tried the Blythe Converse like sneakers on your SP's? Did you buy the micro's or the regular Blythe size?

thanks Mary-lee - I will. I'm actually expecting that once I get my boy I will probably draft some patterns for him myself, and probably upload them somewhere. The hard part is trying to make things when you don't have anything to compare them with.

You could try some loose fitting Riley patterns. I don't think Tiny Betsy McCall will work, but they may be too small. My jeans pattern for the SP is MUCH larger than my Riley pattern (and longer legs). But some t-shirts, go for DJ Kish outfits - my DJ Kish patterns fit SP lati yellow great!!

Oh, is it SP Lati yellow, or regular Yellow? sorry, I saw SP in a message.

Not sure how long it takes - I'm trying to be patient and not visit latidoll every day. I ordered beginning of April, so I'm assuming sometime before July.

But I got some patterns today, so I'm doing a weekend sewing frenzy

Oh, there are patterns? I have not even ordered a Lait yellow yet, but have ordered the wigs and am not so patiently waiting for their re-stock...At least I could get sewing before I would have actually seen the doll. I was tempted to do so, but without the actual doll, it is not that easy to get the measurements right...
I'll look into the patterns now. The things I learn here every day...

 

I use one basic pattern that I know fits her shoulders, chest and waist and just go from there. Also one basic pants pattern. You can alter the style as long as you know it's going to fit. I also ALWAYS fit as I go on the doll itself. I've tried sewing from measurements but it didn't work out too well! A new set I just made.
I love changing her looks!

I'm waiting on a Lea Sp. from Lati, and need to find clothes that'll fit her. And nearly everything I come across is for the 16cm Renewal body. ^^;

Particularly, I'm looking for simple dresses, skirts, hoodies, leggings.

you can make really cute sundresses by taking barbie miniskrits and adding shoulder straps.works like a charm

 

Yes, Riley shoes fit the 16cm LaTi Yellow dolls (but not the Special Yellow size). Riley clothes fit the Special Yellow dolls. Some outfits are a little tight and others fit just perfectly. Sleeves may be a little short if they are full length.

I can't find anywhere else to ask this... can you order at anytime from the Lati site or is there a specific order time. I want to get a yellow and I see "Preparing stock" under all the pics. Thanks

 

lati only does a doll restock about every 3 months or so and you can only order a doll during that time (wigs and other things can be ordered at any time). The next restock is expected in about september I think.

I have just gotten a Bobobie Elfkin and I read that she has a similar body to Lati Yellow , so i will post a few pictures of things i found that fit

first, a dress i took off one of those Madame Alexander dolls made for McDonald's



Here are some Hi: Glamm (doll made by MGA) shorts, they actually fit Jun Planning's Dal too, every skirt that fit Dal also fit my Elfkin



and... dresses i took of my vintage Holly Hobby dolls

Etsy is a wonderful place to find Lati Yellow clothing. Change the search box to "all" (or whatever it says, I'm too lazy to check right now) and then search "lati yellow". You get all sorts of stuff popping up!

 

I agree Etsy is a wonderful place to get Lati Yellow clothes and they are really cute. I also make some hoodies, dresses & leggins if anyone is interested I have some pictures of flickr under then same name, I can try to make something speical for you if you know what you would like.

 

Search Lati in Etsy - there are a few really beautiful outfits there from time to time...

no, not Yo clothes... & I don't know about brownie clothing (that is the same as Puki, yes?) I have used some Riley items on my yellows with the renewal body...some shorts with elastic waist, some t-shirts. They were a totally new size for me to dress..thankfully there is Jen/Spampy!! and some lovely folk on etsy like *pei* and others I could list. Now, the yellow SP body is tall like Riley and share many clothing items...I hope I helped some.
