This is actually quite easy for me. Even though I only collect minis and tinies (and there's just no room for bigger dolls) I love looking at all sizes and playing the "what if" game for the sheer entertainment of it.

Fairyland Realpuki Pupu (own) Purely an emotional response...not only is her engineering amazing in that super small size, but she looks exactly like my beloved grandmother.

Dollzone Anson (own) I'd been wanting a "grand art" doll for my entire time collecting ABJDs, and when I saw this sculptural wonder I couldn't have clicked on that buy button fast enough! Her petals were the perfect surface to cover with my original artwork.
Resinsoul Fei (own) She was a complete surprise to me. I initially bought her for one of my characters. I loved her lilac skin and that wonderful, very fey-like body of the RS single jointed dolls. But when I decided to reshell my character into the open-eyed version of the same sculpt (RS Mei,) I didn't know what to do with the closed eye Fei. Then DoA had a shadow faceup contest in their last anniversary celebration...so I decided to do her head up as a Mexican Day of the Dead character (with plans to just use the head as an extra occasional head for the Mei's character.) But I fell so madly in love with her after I did her, she earned her very own character and the biggest display space in the house!

Iplehouse Tania--This is possibly my favorite sculpt, period. The only reason I don't have her yet is because I keep getting snagged by LEs. But one day I plan to have two or more of her in different skin tones.
Soom Dune*--This is really hard because I love every. Single. One. Of the Soom msd releases. I love tan dolls though, and so I'm going to have to choose her among the Soom kids I own. She is amazing.

60 cm:
Iple Bianca*--I don't have her yet but I hope she can be shipped soon! I have a largish collection but this is the only doll where when I saw the full release picture for her my heart started beating faster at first sight. I've been looking for exactly this since I started collecting. She is just stunning...I can't imagine that I wouldn't like her!
Volks Jun Tachibana*--I've seen a lot of one-offs since I came to Japan, but the only one I ever seriously pined after was a Sato Jun. Luckily she was re-released this year and I managed to get her! She's such a versatile sculpt, and exactly fit my image of a sweet, springtime girl.

70cm+
Soom Shoshon (bronze)--One of my two biggest dolly regrets...I can't believe I passed on this guy. I still pine for him, but I haven't been able to make the leap...the idea of having to buy clothes for yet another size kind of gives me pause.

Soom Saiph--To be honest, I don't really look at 70 cm dolls because that's just too big for my taste. If I did want a 70 cm girl though, Saiph is very beautiful.

 

So, SO hard. I only collect 1/3 scale dolls, so doing the Tiny and Mini dolls thing was tough (I'd much rather trade a couple of the little ones out for larger dolls). But...I guess if I had to pare it down to bare bones, my collection would look like this. (Note that this is transient - this is my Ideal Collection of the moment - three months from now, it might look different, since I'm constantly upgrading which dolls I use to represent my characters! Heh, I'm loving everyone's choices and rationals but looking at everyone's collections it looks like we all have our loyalties to certain companies. This could be even harder/more evil if you could only pick one doll from a company. 8 different companies in one collection? Looks like only two people have managed it so far.

 

Gonna give this a spin! I'm happy to say I own half of these, the rest are on my wishlist... the 60cm category was hardest because I treasure all my tall ladies, but at the end of the day I could never leave out Lazule, my first sculpt and fave 4eva ;_;

This was pretty difficult! Especially since I love minis so much! I'm kind of sad that the only one out of my current collection I would pick is Viv, my first doll, I would definitely have to keep her. But I would absolutely hate to see my others go, even if they aren't in my 8!

This is a difficult one, especially as I recently made the decision to cut down my collection to consist of only dolls MSD size and under so I am trying not to think too much about bigger dolls. Also, trying to decide amongst my smaller dolls is almost impossible. It would be only a little easier if YoSDs were counted as a size separate from other general "tinies".
