For the Alliance! I play a gnome Warlock and they are the coolest and best characters! You doll is utterly amazing, you are so talented. Well done!
See, this is what I love about the Western BJD community--its incredible creativity! This is a beautiful sculpt, and I can't wait to see her finished. Great work!
You're really talented! And I love the foot! How about a little cthulhu as your next project like the one in your avatar? Laoky (^___^)
Oh my geebus. this is my first time ever seeing anyone MAKE a doll. O___O I'm amazed. You astound me.
This is looking awesome! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that wants to do a WoW inspired doll! I want to try a Draenei. That's going to be fun making the legs and such. x_x
Thanks everybody ^^ I'm starting again on the head. There were some improvements needed and I will finish the head first before I go back on the body. Work in progress...
This is such a neat idea. I really want to see the end result. Even though I play human and draenei I love gnomes. Especially when they do the train emote lol. For the alliance
Ok, she is amazing! As a fellow gnome lock I completely approve... Would you ever consider making casts of her once you're done? I've been strongly considering getting a SOOM Beryl to mod into my Draenei shaman and it would be adorable to have both of my characters!
OMG! She's amazing! X3 I really need to show my lil'sis this thread when I visit her tomorrow 'cause she has got a gnome warlock in WoW too!
*Has to laugh* On my roleplay server, my main is ALSO a gnome warlock (closely followed by my favorite race/class pairing: draenei shaman, although my lock has a better written bio and more personality than my draenei ATM). How many of us are there?! :lol She's too cute. I would love to make dolls for all my WoW characters, but gnomes did present a problem. I can't wait for your girl (and her succubus!) to be finished! Ditto. XD I'll never do it, but with the possibility of MSD MNM heads again, I may have that bit solved, and then just have to worry about doing lower legs for a MNF body (they already have the swaybock thing going on!!). But getting back on topic: your gnome is amazing, and she's gone through so many drafts. This is one doll I'll have to keep tabs on.
She is so cute! She really does look like she just jumped right out of the game! Totally going to keep tabs on this, I'd love to see the final results. I use to play wow (both factions). I would love to have a copy of some of my old characters ^_^ But there are so many that I love I could not possibly chose!
I'm actively planning this doll though. :3 She's gonna be big (I'm planning on 65cm) and I just ordered my first block of La Doll clay along with all the other art supplies I need for school. It's back ordered so I won't get it for awhile, but that gives me time to finish the sketches I need to do. I've been antsy and wanted to start over the Christmas break, but whenever I went to the nearby Michales they were sold out of Paperclay. She's not going to be finished for a loooooooong time because poor college student is poor, and also due to lack of time. But I *really* want to get her started.
WOW. Good luck!! I hope you post photos in this forum so I can keep an eye on you as the process goes along, even if it takes a while. ^^ Good work usually does. Edit: I forgot to ask: how is the succubus coming along? Or are you focusing on the sculpting of your gnome for the moment?
Just found this thread and am (as is everyone else) in awe of your doll - your sculpting is really good!!!! loving loving loving your gnome lock! <NE hunter here - toying with a bjd of her>
