Reason: I spent about 7-8 months looking for my first doll. Most of it was spent saving up money and not really thinking about what I want yet. I kept hearing great and amazing things about Fairyland, although it wasn't my first choice of doll company. I fell in love with their Miyu sculpt at first sight although it was waaaaaayy more expensive than the others Another would be inspiration from one of my favorite BJD youtubers.... Kireix ^w^

 

My 60cm Obitsu Gretel "Neko" was my first foray into BJD's.....I saw her on ebay and I asked the seller if she would take layaway and she did! She was my only doll until 2010 when I caved totally..lol.

Why I Chose Him: The first doll I wanted (reached out from the monitor, grabbed me and screamed "take me home") was the Art Delf vampire Shiwoo (limited to 5 in the world). Then I noticed the Shiwoo elf was basically the same mould and there were actually some still available.. sooo, he arrived on my doorstep, April 10, 2004 and is still here. I will never sell him; he will have to be pried out of my cold, dead hands. XoP


Originally named Bran, his name was changed to Brandon when I got his chibi/MiniMe version, who was then named Bran. (Chibi is not fully finished, still needs his proper wig and eyes.)

Why I chose him: Not sure exactly. I originally wanted Dollmore Adam Kara Klum for my first doll, but I found Mihael and I fell completely head over heels in love. I think it's the realistic proportions. I knew I just had to have him. I was going to buy him new until I found him on the marketplace with this gorgeous faceup and the eye mod. I loved him more than I would have from the site. So I jumped on it~
Wishlist: Souldoll Chiron grey skin (I've been wanting him since I got into the hobby, because he suits my character that I've been writing about for five or six years now. So it's long overdue. I found someone selling him for an amazing price, so hopefully they get back to me soon and I'll actually be able to have my guy in 3D form~). And Iplehouse Arvid. Just because.

I went to a shop, hoping to buy either a AA Yi or San. However both scuplts were popular by demand, they were all sold out. What's left in the shop was AA Er... The shop owner asked me if I want the Er...if not, I'll have to wait for the next shipment. Honestly, I think that AA website is not doing justice to Er's scuplt.. In the end, I decided to pick this boy (louise) instead of waiting for my original choice... Which I'm glad I didn't.
