THUS, I chose H.Ducan. I love DOD dolls and.. hey, he's pretty similar looking and fits Klaude's personality perfectly.

Why I chose him: i barely knew anything about BJDs but i knew i wanted one to be my favorite OC. i had looked on several sites and didnt find any that i thought would work when i came across Dollmore and saw the tiny thumbnail of Kara Klum. it was love at first site. i only saw the pictures on dollmore, but i knew this was Alex, even if he had the wrong hair, eyes and clothes...although i thought the bloodstained-looking shirt would have worked XD i printed out all of his info, and saved it until i had enough money to buy him. despite having no knowledge of the dolls, and having no idea that DOA existed until after id had him awhile, i think i made the perfect choice. this doll could not have been better for the character if it had been made for him!! i absolutely adore him and would not have any other doll in his place.

Why I chose him: Love at first sight At the time I was pretty convinced I would never buy any BJDs unless they were minimees, which I was and still am currently in an order for, and am getting more XD But I'm still pretty new to the BJD stuff. I used to be a portrait artist, so faces are very important to me/I'm VERY picky about them, so I was pretty sure minimees were the only thing for me. So I joined DOA to learn and ran around looking at pictures everywhere and learning everything I possibly could, and never saw a doll I'd buy. Though they were all very beautiful! None of the premade dolls seemed to appeal to me, it was the whole reason I originally wasn't into BJDs actually. Then I was looking on Leekeworld for potential wigs, and they were announcing their special event. I looked just out of curiosity, wondering if they were having a special wig sale, and there he was! My jaw literally dropped, pretty sure my heart exploded with love too I just couldn't get enough of his gorgeous little face! The eyes, the nose, the lips, just everything! I only took a few days to decide, knowing he wouldn't be for sale anymore. So after a little coercing from my friends, and realizing if I didn't get him I would sorely regret it, I dove for it (I had the preview pictures of him open everyday till he got here X3) And I'm so glad I did!!!

 

My first doll was a Serendipity Sharmin, Suke; I got her about three years ago preloved from ebay. The sharmin was the first mold I ever fell in love with. Despite her horrible posing abilities and yellowed resin, I would not give her up for anything 333

I gave up quickly, saying my parents would never let me get him...not to mention the money I was somehow going to scrape together at age 14/15!
A few months later I came across the Tensiya hound photos on my computer...and I had it set :3 He was GOING to be mine!!! XD BY CHRISTMAS! **had only a few months to get together the $480 or so I had to pay. Parents/some relatives helped with the rest**

Why I chose him: Originally, I had intended a DOT Camine for Storm. However, the moment Cian came out I knew he was perfect. A similar, gentle face, but with a sadness and seriousness too. Plus, my best dolly-friend's boys were all from Luts and she had great experiences with them, and I like how those dolls handled. He seemed like the perfect choice - and he was.

Because the first time I saw a pic of this mold - The one she is looking at on the photo - I thought she looked like sort of a resin version of myself. However, even before she got home, I fell in love with the idea of she being Nami from One Piece manga and anime series and that is who she really is. After thinking about that, I found most of the rest of the Mugiwara nakama among the most of the Delfs molds at Luts by then.​

 

Oh, now that he's finally given me his story (it's only been three years or so), I can post about my boy! He's gone through a lot of transition since I bought him, of course.

Place of birth: Somewhere in Scottland or Ireland, but spent most of his life as a changeling, serving as a warrior to Oberon in Faery, thus the reason for his immortality.
Language: English, and possibly a few others he doesn't remember.
Why I chose him: It was a Luts elf El that really made me fall for these dolls, but he wasn't available, of course. So I was hedging back and forth between Moon and Elf Yder, who still was available. I chose Moon over Yder for the simple fact that Yder was a type one, and Moon was a type 2 and it seemed easier to get his head on and off for changing eyes and such, and I wanted as much simplicity as possible in learning how to handle these dolls.
