It's been roughly 3 months since the last group photos of my whole crew (and ca 8 from the ones before that) - things have changed a lot Can't believe I thought I'd get no new resin at the beginning of the year! I've since sold Billie, adopted Nonoo and Acorn (who got Asa's old body (which was Michi's old body to start with)), and Asa got a fresh body herself. Confusing! But to keep a record and celebrate that I've come to a point of 0 floating heads, it was a good time to take a few snaps. X-s are clickable (which you hopefully won't have to do as I went overly compress-happy with the photos, oops) Spoiler: Bonus: the price of taking group photos Back row (our L to R): Vickie (Unoa Sist Bully on Huajing v4), Nuoyi (Doll Legend Nuoyi on Souldoll new double), Asa (Unoa Sist on Bonbon Galaxy Lychee) Front row: Michi (Dollzone Shoyo on Dollmore Judith), Nonoo (Volks MSD Myu), Acorn (Volks SDC Arashi on Dollzone B45-002) Michi wears an unknown dealer-made dress (that came with Nonoo), Nonoo wears a Leeke wig (? probably), all other clothes/wigs/faceups by me. Thanks for looking!
What a lovely group And yes, I feel the pain of group shots. There's always at least one wig that goes flying and that one doll that starts the domino effect...
"No new resin" 2024 is going well No floating heads is a great achievement though! You have such a diverse group! I love to see them
Thank you! But I guess... if there is no domino, has it even been a proper group shoot? At least I am nailing the "buy" part of no-buy! But I do appreciate having a more diverse group than before so I think it has been a good choice - I'm happy that you like seeing them, too! Oh yeah, they definitely had fun! Thank you for looking!
Lovely as always! Acorn's face says she knew it was going to happen I've been setting up my first shoot with two dolls and I didn't realize how exponentially difficult it gets I'm starting to understand how much work and mini heart attacks go behind these photos.
Oh yeah, Acorn has seen it all (it's the one deceivingly sturdy body that will buckle very randomly and do a nosedive) Posing dolls together is a... balancing act for sure. But it is also really fun! It's always the most fun type of shoots for me at least, even if the wigs mop the floor several times.
