Wearables The costume in medieval style.

    1. Hi guys! :lol:
      I would like to show you the result of the work on the costume for my good friend. I sewed it last year, but decided to bring here just now.
      I would like to know your opinion about the work. :blush
      This is not a historical reconstruction, it is just a stylization. :3nodding:
      surcoat and trousers made of artificial suede
      2 cotton crepe tunics
      cape - natural vintage wool lined with satin
      leather belt

    3. I love those sleeves so damn much!

      I spent today sewing some pants for my incoming doll and cursing my lack of sewing ability and visual spacial abilities lol.
      I love this guy's outfit man.

    5. The most difficult part for me was to sew applique to simulate an embroidery cord. I really do not like to sew by hand! :sorry

    6. I would consider comissioning you heh. That embroidery is gorgeous and really cleverly done. You gotta get pretty creative with teeny scale stuff because doing it "the right way" just isn't always possible.

      I will point out, there's a fair few fans of medieval fantasy clothing, and very very few people meeting that demand particularly in msd sizes and especially males of all sizes. Oh gowns are easy to find, but armor? male clothing? Heck no.

    13. My only critique is that you gave it to your friend and not to me :love it looks fantastic, I especially like the lace details on the undershirt.
