Granted! But you have so much free time that you end up spending a lot of extra money on things you don't need to pass the time.

I wish I had a job that paid in dolls.

 

Granted! But the job is so demanding and stressful with bad managers breathing down your next about every mistake that you make that you can't handle it.

I wish that I could find the right wig for my next doll. Nobody has anything close to what I'm looking for.

 

Granted! You put the new beautiful wig on your new gorgeous doll and it fits like a glove, sitting perfectly and moving exactly where you want it to go. You decide it looks so perfect that you take your doll on an entire photoshoot based around photos of that lovely new wig. When you review the photos, however...gah! The horror!! The colour becomes washed out and the shine is unbearable! The fibers also look weirdly transluscent??

I wish that Ringdoll would sell me a pair of their stunning jointed hands in normal resin...sigh.

 

Granted, but they come in missing fingers.

I wish I had self control over scrolling company sites and drooling over cute sculpts (fairyland I'm looking at you)

 

Granted, you can only look at doll sites for one minute!

I wish I could decide what color eyes to get my new doll.

 

Granted! But once your perfectly colored eyes arrive, you realize that you ordered the wrong size.

I wish there here was more time over the weekend to take doll pictures!

 

Granted! But now you can't find your camera.

I wish I had more room to set up a doll room!

 

Granted! You have all the room you would ever need! But now you have no dolls to put in that room.

I wish Sora was back from her face up.

 

Granted! But you don't like the faceup and end up sending her back for another one.

I wish doll's hair grew longer like human hair!

 

Granted! But it grows in the most unfortunate cowlicks.

I wish I were motivated today to do doll stuff!

 

Granted! But you don't finish anything else that needs to be done (like cleaning, errands, etc.)

I wish I had more time to spend on bjd stuff!

 

Granted, but now you have no MONEY to spend on new bjd items!

I wish I could find decent lolita dresses for a 70cm bjd.

 

Granted! But they're for an out-of-production artist doll with very odd proportions.

I wish that the wigs I had actually fit one of my dolls!

 

Granted! But the wigs that do fit your dolls end up either being very expensive or the wrong color.

I wish I had more local friends who collected dolls.

I wish I had a horse BJD scale to my girl.

 

Granted, but it sold out years ago, and now even if it pops up in the market, the price is sky high and you can't afford it.

I wish I could find a 1/3 scale sports bike for my friends bjd so I can surprise her on her birthday.

 

Granted! You find the coolest 1/3 bike, wrap it up carefully and give it to her, but when she opens it up, the bike has broken to pieces and can't be repaired no matter how hard you try.

I wish that it would get warmer around here so I can safely airbrush my dolls.

 

Granted! But it gets so hot that you can't do anything but sit under a fan and try to cool down.

I wish I had a better paying job to buy dolls with.

 

Granted. But the job is so time-consuming that you barely find time to spend with your dolls.

I wish I had more dolls home finally so my boy wasn't so lonely.

 

Granted! But your new dolls take up so much of your time that your boy still feels lonely.

I wish my dolls could do my homework for me.

 

Granted! Your dollies do your homework, but its written in a language you do not speak.

I wish I had more time to sew for my dolly comrades.

 

Granted! Once you start sewing an outfit you can't stop until you are finished!

I wish the SDs I like weren't so expensive.

 

Granted, they are all now on amazing sales and you don't have a penny to spend on them.

I wish I didn't find out how expensive the fl dolls are on the marketplace.

 

Granted! But now you have never even found the marketplace.

I wish I could pay off this layaway much faster.

 

Granted. Unfortunately, you manage to do this by rerouting all your available funds to the layaway, neglecting your bills and taxes. There's an even steeper price to pay for getting your doll a little earlier...

I wish I already had at least one of the six MSDs I want in the future... I wish I had a Cryptica doll, without all the saving and waiting and everything that goes with it.

 

Granted the doll gets delivered to your home. Shortly after the opening it comes to life and dances out the door with a top hat and cane.

Granted! But the chemical added to the resin that stops yellowing now makes the resin slowly turn pale green!!!
