Wearables The BJD shoe project

I'm back with another project thread. I recently opened my bjd shoe box to find all my bought shoes have peeled and fallen apart. Since gothic pieces seem to be non existent these days, I've taken it upon myself to make them.

I also have an Angura Kei boy so there will be some traditional Japanese pieces here and there. Which brings me to my first completed set. A pair of casual Geta.

The fabric straps are wired and there is an invisible elastic so that they can be posed and worn with normal feet.

 

They are resin!

I have a an invisible string/elastic for extra sturdiness but I'm thinking of swapping it out for magnets for the next pair to see how that holds up.
