I think DoA has created such a nice community of doll lovers from all over the world to share, chat and trade dolls. It is such a big community as well, so a lot of work goes into this place. I very much appreciate all your hard work!

The moderators here do SO much work, it's mind-boggling at times. Running the forum is a hard job, and I'm so thankful that we have such a dedicated and friendly crew running the place! DoA is one of the most well-maintained, orderly forums I've ever seen... made even more unbelievable by its size!

There are several times I've PMed or contacted a moderator or virtue about an issue, and I've always been treated respectfully and helpfully. DoA really is lucky to have them!

 

Thanks to all the Mods for making this a sweet place to play!!!

 

I know, only one voice in a (well, darnit, it _should_ be!) great vast chorus, but I know these forae don't run themselves. From the moment I discovered BJDs - three and a half years ago, now - Den of Angels has been a steady and stalwart resource. The go-to place when all other places fail - or even before other places are tried.

To all the Moderators who keep the peace, and who make this chaos make sense, and to each of the virtuous Virtues (what's the difference between a Moderator and a Virtue? Do I need to know? Naah, not really.), my heartfelt thanks and deepest respect. To the ones I've met in person, please know that I am honored to count you among my friends.

GrowlyGal has said it better than I could! Recently, there's been a few minor kerfluffles in my local doll group - all of whom I met through DoA, of course! - and they've just made me appreciate, all the more, the safety and warmth that DoA possesses. Within its walls it's safe to just ENJOY our dolls - and not worry about having to defend or fight over them. DoA makes this hobby - this habit - so much more enjoyable than it already was!

You know, I say it all the time: whenever I need to PM a Mod with a question, whenever I need info & am guided to the right spot by a Virtue, or whenever I get the chance to participate in something fun like all these great contests. But I'm gonna say it here as well - Thank you! As massive as this site is, without all of your concerted efforts & hard work it would be just a big mass of crazy! You all make it an excellent place to not only get all the doll info I could ever need, but also to meet others (crazy dollie people) like myself that I might have never had the chance to before. I seriously enjoy this site & feel it has enhanced my enjoyment of this hobby (not to mention taught me a few things ).

BJDs are a huge part of my life and Den of Angels is 98% responsible for that. If it weren't for the Moderators, past and present, DoA would not be the fabulous all-encompassing and yet well-organized and thoughtful playground that it is today. I am constantly amazed at the amount of work they put into the forum on top of incredibly busy lives. As a virtue I see a tiny bit of what goes on behind the scenes and I am in awe of your grit, compassion and dedication. Bravo, ladies!

I've never joined a forum before this one - just lurked. But, a lot of the reason I joined this one is the kindness of the mods. No question is a stupid question. Criticism is met with a kind answer. It's so different "here" in DoA's cyber world of dollies. Thanks for making this such a nice place!

The mods are what help make this forum the warm, friendly, informative and awesome place it is; I am on no other forums but I adore being a part of DoA.
I don't know how they keep such a huge forum so organised and fun to be on everytime I visit but they manage it and do a wonderful job to boot!
Both my resin crew and I are extremely grateful for their presence, we don't know what we'd do without DoA. So from the bottom of our hearts: thank you!!!

 

I can't PM one moderator or virtue in particular because every single one of you has been wonderful to me.

I'm sure people have said it before, but I just have to say:
I have never, ever, in my entire life seen a forum run as beautifully as DoA. And I have seen a LOT of forums. I think you guys must put a tremendous amount of effort into what you do here, and it really, really shows. You've created an environment that I am comfortable learning from and contributing to, I never have to worry about where I click or anything, everything is laid out nicely so I can find it, and it's just FANTASTIC. If I hadn't found DoA, and hadn't been comfortable with how it was run, I probably wouldn't even be saving up for my first doll, and my life would be considerably more empty than it is, not to mention I probably wouldn't have very much to look forward to in the future (which sounds pretty bleak and dramatic, but it's true).

So, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! for making this such a wonderful forum that has helped make my world a better place!
