Ordering Telesthesia and Dragon Company Face-up

    1. I was wondering if anyone could share their experience(s) with Telesthesia company face-ups. I plan to order TD - 62cm Xiao Bei this Thursday with the company face-up, however I have been looking at the very few reviews and videos/photos of both Xiao Bei and other TD dolls and I've noticed a trend of the dolls being received with random, basic face-ups, some even with pink or red eyebrows. I want to know if it's worth it to get the company face-up in present times or if I should save the money and commission a faceup from another artist.

    2. I'd say save your money and commission an artist you picked yourself, I think it isn't worth the gamble when the risk of getting a face up you won't like is so high

      My TD Junxian's company face up was pretty good but he's also from 2021 so maybe it was before TD started started doing these wild face ups

    3. These 3 all have Telesthesia & Dragon company faceups,
      From left to right they are Telesthesia & Dragon Wei Yue Jin sp, Telesthesia & Dragon Jin, Telesthesia & Dragon Thalia.

      Jin and Wei Yue Jin sp faceups look nothing like their company promo pictures and Thalia is a older girl and hers looks like the company pictures.

      I don't have any dolls from them recently but hopefully this will still be helpful .

    4. Also they tend to go really heavy on the inner lip lines, which I am not a fan of .

    5. I bought a Xun Jian head with company faceup some time last year. When I received mine he looked nothing like the company photos. I ended up removing the faceup myself, and sending it off to a faceup artist. This is what the company faceup looked like.

    6. I'll have a brand new comparison in a couple weeks when my Mercenary - Luo arrives. He was an impulse buy that broke all my no-nighttime-purchases rules, and I ordered his full set for the outfit, so he'll have a company face up.

    7. I just ordered a YanWei a couple weeks ago and I assumed that what was shown on the promo pics would be the faceup I get...so I guess he'll come with a random faceup. Probably better than anything I could do...I don't like to send off for a face up since it's hard to find one within my country.

    8. I’m also just nervous that an artist might mess up my faceplate or swap it with a fake. Not likely but still scary. Lol

    10. This one wasn’t bad at least and Xiao Bei does have a pretty basic face up from the get go but I’d just hate to get a different color scheme than the one that they promote. The photos I saw from owners showed bright red eyebrows and under eyes that looked swollen and red as well. I’d also hate to have to wait 4-6 months for the doll just to have to send it out for another month or so before I can get him together.

    11. Xiao Bei has a sort of hombre lip so I’m not as worried about that with him but I’m scared to open up the box to bright pink brows. I think I’d cry. Lol

    13. He’s so pretty. Xiao Bei also has a pretty basic face up so I hope they can manage to make him look close. I don’t expect photo accuracy but at least natural brows and lashes.
