The defualt outfits look really cute! I'm very tempted to snatch up a Kiana doll just to steal her jeans. I haven't seen the new ones at the stores yet. Toy's R Us are really the only places that carry them here. The Walmarts, Targets, etc here don't carry the Teen Trends line of stuff anymore.

Also, I just noticed but.. I remember 3-4 months ago when looking up Teen Trends stuff on eBay there was literally nothing! Now theres a ton of the dolls and outfits on there. XD

 

Gar I still need the casual sets from the last batch, anyone know where they are for sale online still?

I love the new dresses *-* Thats it, need to order my msd girl next paycheck >.>;

I just wanted to say, the Walmarts around me have Teen Trends outfits on sale for about $4 each.

They're really cute but... another fancy outfit and pj's? I want them to release more casual clothing! the casual clothing line they already released was totally cute! I'd love to see a "school" set with a school outfit.

 

They have them on Amazon.com ...at least the old ones.

 

Amazon is just so pricey...

meep*, until this thread I thought they were being discontinued because our local store discounted them and no longer has any teen trends items in stock. I guess thats not true xD Yay new outfits! I don't know if they'll keep selling the old outfits or not o.o;;

 

The new outfits are so cute!! But I always have to order them through Amazon or find them on Ebay; for some reason my local Toys'R'Us doesn't carry them, and I've been to too many Wal-Marts to count looking for them!!

Like last year there are two outfits for each doll; a pajama set and a prom dress set. Then there is a new create a closet playsets that has a set of shoes, a set of hats or bags, a dressing "room" with a jacket or hoodie the clothing are not availible in other sets.

I'm not sure when they are going to release these. There is a new character Rayna (ie more clothes yea!)

I'm posting this because I want to give everyone a heads up so Mattel will keep making the outfits. It looks like a great way to get cute inexpensive outfits & accesories for our dolls.

Hey just a thought,

The new character (winter release?) Might be a japaneese influenced doll (they all might be) She has a T shirt with japaneese? characters on it. I really like the pink outfit they have for her but it looks like it's the dolls outfit.

Mattel might be trying to get a part of the dollfie market but without actually making bjds. The dolls are partially ball jointed. They are strung and the elbows and knees are are ball jointed.

Just thought you might want to know.

 

This link seems to work better for the Toy Fair pics. Cute stuff, although I'm not sure I need a modular spa. Interestingly, the outfits & accessories are different from the new ones being shown on the Teen Trends website. I hope they release both sets!

 

**grinning** Too cool. I love the Teen Trends outfits - the Kianna ones really suit my Daiichi. It's great that they're coming out with even more.

 

the toyfair pics are from Febuary 11 & 12 So they probably won't be in the stores till Fall/Winter 2006.

The outfits on the everything girl site seem to already be out in canada. There is a canadian ebay seller that has some of the closet sets on ebay.

OMG that new doll they're showing at Toyfair is LOVE. Snow wants her clothes but.... i like the doll enough that i'd keep her. So cute! are those little weensy goggles on her head? yes! yes they are! *drool*

I got discouraged when Walmart put the clothes on clearance here. I thought the line might be discontinued. And when I saw the the new sets on the website I got hopefull. But since they brought out the new stuff + Rayna at toyfair it looks like mattel might back the dolls for a while yea!

And woot for Canada. =) The closets come with a dress-form. I bet that'll be useful for some.

 

I have a Courtney doll and right now she has a half done shirt pinned on her. She's a representive ABJD and part time sewing model. She'll keep Asha company once I get her.

 

I took a closer look at the outfits. I think these are the fall/winter/ or pre christmas release because 9 out of 15 different outfits are jeans or pants. The rest are skirts with leggings or hose. Almost all the shirts are long sleeved or come with a jacket if they look like a tee shirt. The dolls have 2 jackets each and at least one pair of boots.

I could be wrong.

I actually found this web site through my stores tracking it records where people link from and I found this site.
First off I want to say how fantastic I think this site is. I have found out a lot about Dollfie's and MSD dolls that I knew nothing about.
I was also interested in what people's opinions are about eBay and the prices that sellers charge and why.
I would love to answer any questions you all might have.
Yes I am Canadian and I am in the process right now of clearing out my fall lines. Chrystika you are correct the clothes are from the winter line. I am having auctions over the next few weekends starting at 1 cent with no reserve (total plug here.......lol). So if anyone is interested in I am clearing out my fall/winter inventory to make way for the Spring line.
I have found most of the create-a-closet sets and have posted a few of them starting at 1 cent to draw some attention to them.
I still purchase all my collection from stores like Wal-mart, Toys R Us and others at this point thus the mark up is there. I am hoping to find a toy distributer here that will sell to me at wholesale. No luck so far but if I do that change would and will be reflected in my prices.
I love the pictures that many of you have of your dolls and look forward to posting more.

 

=) I think we're a good market for you, Kath-a-leen. I think we're willing to spend a bit more on doll clothes on average than someone buying a $30 doll for their 8-year-old. ^^' That's not to say that we'll pay more than store prices if we can help it.

I definately hear you! I wish I could find things cheaper. Around Christmas time I was so envious of the people in the States that were able to find toys on sale at ridiculous prices. In Canada (or at least where I live) to find a Teen Trends outfit for $4.00 US is absolutely unheard of. I became a registered business in November but it is very difficult to find suppliers who are willing to sell to business owners who operate through eBay. They associate it with online auctions and don't feel there is a significant market.
As I continue researching the doll market in general I was shocked at just how detailed and beautiful the dolls are. The clothing is also incredible.

Everything fits, although the shoes are a bit tight. Ignore the pirate necklace (it's from Dollmore) ... Courtney's just not cool enough to have her own pirate necklace.

For any Houstonians, there is another Courtney doll sitting on the shelves at the Toys R Us on Bay Area Blvd (off I-45 south). No other outfits spotted yet.

 

yay! They're starting to hit shelves! =) I'll have to take a trip to Toys R Us and have a peek sometime.

 

aaack omg omgomgomgo they are coming out already!! in the "news" thread about the new teen trends stuff, somebody posted that they thinkt he outfits will be out spring (GLEEE!) and the new dressed dolls in the fall.

I never saw ANYTHING on clearance in my area - maybe it was just certain areas the dolls didn't do well or something. I only ever saw the outfits for full price $15 at TRU, and Target, etc.

 

Just to clarify, Sher ... there are two sets of "new stuff" being talked about. The Courtney doll I just bought is from the line shown on theTeen Trends website, which are entirely different from the line shown at Toy Fair. My guess is that the "website line" is coming out this Spring & the "Toy Fair line" will show up in the Summer/Fall. So there's even more to be gleeful about!

 

I was at TRU today to see if they had any new TT outfits and this one only had the older ones still at full price
But, of course, that didn't stop me from buying one for my DM Kid Asha Girl and it fits wonderfully (except the boots don't fit her huge feet).

 

=) oh hey. I know Amazon isn't the best place to get these but the shoe shelves and hat racks are now listed there. They're not available yet, but presumably they will be soon.

 

I just went to the Toys R Us here and they still have the old outfits and dolls all at retail price still. Can't wait for the new outfits to hit stores!

 

Oh wow, those toy fair outfits are irrisistable!! EEK! I can't wait for these to come out in stores.

 

^^' yeah. I was undoubtedly at the same Toys R Us as you just a few days ago and I didn't see anything new either.

 

wahhh! all this teen trend talk...and no teen trends stuff in the UK...at least I can't find it do the teen trend clothes fit the more slender MSDs like Naraes, or can they be worn by DODs? Sorry if this has been asked...just thinking about looking up and impulse buying 'teen trends' stuff on the US ebay....

 

I have a BB ALice and several of the Teen Trends outfits. I understand she is similar in size to the Narae girls. Some of the things fit fairly well, but are larger in the waist and around the chest. The blue gown is a fair fit. All the shoes and socks fit super, though. The jeans fit great, as do the snugger tops.
US buyers may note that K-Mart is carrying the new line. I bought one of the closets & shoes sets there at an excellent price. They've gotten in several of the new outfits, too.

 

i have my Tender Bee-a on a Minifee body, and most of the clothes fit her just fine. some of the tops need a little darting in the back, but now even the shoes fit! those adorable little sandals~

....*makes plans to hit K-mart later*

 

I went to Toys R us and last years dolls & one 05 outfit were in stock.

I asked a clerk about the new dolls etc. He said they discontinued part of the clothes line but had a bunch in thier warehouse. My state will probably be the slowest to get any. :-( They were last year.

Some of those outfits are seriously cute! Although I wish they had more pants and less skirts (since I have to shop for a BOY afterall ). Hope my local Toys R Us will stock them. They're the only stupid place I can find them for some reason.

 

I went to Kmart and none here oh well I should save money for my girl not her clothes. :-P

 

woot! =) Kayley tipped me off. The Nicholasville Road K-Mart in Lexington, Kentucky has the fancy dresses and some of the closet sets.

The blue dress fits the Kid Dollmore body decently. ^^' It slides down just a little because of a lack of boobs, but it's not bad.

is there any chance that anyone could buy teen trends stuff for me and ship them over ?? I'd pay in advance plus shipping fees, and a handling fee for you being nice I'd be interested in tops mostly as I'm not sure the trousers would fit a DOC.

 

Have you tried buying online? I know amazon.com sells them, there are a ton on ebay as well. It would probably be a lot cheaper as well (ebay at least), as I've seen the older sets go for $4-5. The retail price is anywhere from $12.99-$14.99.

 

It's a great idea, thanks I did try buying some off an ebay seller, but they never materialised which soured me slightly on the idea, although I shouldn't let that put me off I guess. I'll check out Amazon.com...another way to spend money....hehe

I've seen one once, but sadly I was on a trip in the States when I saw it...
I know that the chain stores, like WalMart and Zellars don't carry them, but does anyone know if Toys R Us carries them here ?

 

ToysRUs didn't have the new dresses, but K-Mart did. It had all four versions for $12.99 each--cheaper then ToysRUs.

I bought the pink dress, the black one looked rather plain, but what do I know! Thinking about that yellow one. I want to see if the first one fits my souldoll.

 

Hmmm... unfortunately no K-Mart's in Toronto... they all became Wal-Marts... which don't carry the Teen Trends line... so the circle begins again.

 

My local Toys R Us doesn't have the new clothes yet, just the older ones. Maybe in a month or so when it's deep in the middle of prom season here?

 

Well, I'd be happy with the old ones... they're actually the sets that I'm looking for.
Now alls I need to do is find a store that actually carries them here.

They stock teen trends in Superstore/Loblaws stores, if you check in the doll department... Plus they had a killer sale last time I got mine new (9$ canadian for the sets).
