Hi Everyone, I sent for some items from Tata's paradise - Europe which is also Ajumpama in November and till now I have not received anything. I mailed them a few times asking for my items and they said once "that they were sewing them ". If you go to their site you will see that they say that the November items will soon be shipped. This has been going on since January. I mailed them in Febuary asking again and told them if they couldn't deliver by the end of Febuary I want to cancel the order because the clothes and coat was for winter and it's going to be spring now. Mailed them last week again and again "No Answer" from them. This is the first time for me having a BJD and this company was the first I sent for things . Does anybody know how I can resolve this as I want to cancel my order and get my money back. ? I would be very grateful if anyone has gone through a similar experience or also have problems with them. Please be warned other members of DoA , we have to be careful with Companies that can not deliver as promised.
I'm having the same problems with them. I ordered two pieces of jewelry from them Jan. 1st. I emailed them not too long ago asking about my items and they have yet to even send my order to the manufacturer. I find this completely unacceptable since it seems Tata's Paradise International can get items to their customers within a reasonable amount of time. I think I'm going to cancel my order and try the US site. I would be livid if I had been waiting since November of last year. This company seems very unprofessional to me. I hope I don't sound too harsh, but I'm pretty aggravated with them. Anyways, I would consider canceling my order and try ordering from the US site. Good luck!
I ordered some clothes back at the end of November, I haven't received anything... Your right that message on their site has not changed in months.
Yes , I'm sooooo mad I can scream . They don't answer and I don't even know how to cancel the order now. Even if they offered me the clothes now I don't want it !!!!!!! Jess-Kane : I think the US site are the same people. I read it somewhere. You better find out before you send for more things. I'm in Europe (Portugal) Twiggy : Last month when I looked they had a message about going for holidays in Thailand , do you beleive this ? I'm glad we have DoA because at least we can warn others about certain Agents etc , there must be a lot of others that are in the same boat as us and is still waiting. If people starts cancelling their orders this might make them"sit up " a bit. Now the big problem is ..." How do you cancel the order " . They won't answer.
I just sent my first email to them yesterday asking when I could expect my order to ship? They just wrote this: Hello, I'm so sorry for delay. T_T I'm very ashamed. This same week Tata will send all orders. After receive it I can ship it to you. Miriam She still has not received any orders? This whole thing seems fishy... I guess I'll wait another week and then ask for refund. I don't really want the items anymore. It's been four months
I read the feedback for Tata's Paradise US here on DOA and they get good feedback. Maybe I'll send them an email. I already requested cancellation of my order. I guess I'm not as patient as you guys. X)
Twiggy : I got roughly the same massage from them last month , they keep apologizing but nothing. So many excuses with all the mails but nothing is arriving. Yes, they should be "ashamed " !!! because this is just ridiculous !!! JESS- CANE : You are much smarter than I am....sooooo stupid to have waited and should have canceled after a month. My daughter told me to do it but I said to give them a break because it must have been the Christmas rush .....stupid, stupid. I don't know about the "good reviews" as this was the first company I ever sent anything from but for me now they are just a total failure. Whether US or Europe they are the same people they are based in Spain. I will let you guys know what's going on and WHEN they answer me.
scrollbrush : They're the same? I never knew that. I thought that Tata EU was based in Barcelona, Spain and Tata International was based in China. Haha. I don't know what I'm talking about. The only reason I didn't purchase from the US site was because I couldn't open the order page. BIG mistake. Yeah it was the same with me... Figured it out later it was Firefox... should have just switched to Internet Explorer and I would have gotten my stuff a long time ago. the international has great feedback, so I figured the EU one would be similar but apparently not. It's only $50 but I either want my money or my stuff.
I didn't know about the "International Explorer". Thanks for the tip. I guess they branched out Internationally and was doing well but maybe now something backfired with their things . The clothes etc must be made in China . It's a pity because they had clothes and things that were reasonable priced but if their services are that bad, forget it. They still haven't answered me , I have canceled. Will keep you guys informed.
scrollbrush - They didn't "branch out". Tata Europe is a dealer (she's a dealer for Ajumapama, too) - a totally different person than the TATA Paradise company. She orders things from TATA Paradise and when they arrive they are sent to you. I'm not sure what causes the delays for your order, but TATA Paradise was closed for almost all February, because of the Chinese New Year. I think the problem might not be with TATA, but with the European agent...but who knows.
Thanks SMAUG , for this info, it was very kind of you . I just got a mail form Tata's Europe, her name is Miriam , she said that she will receive the orders next week and will be sending the " December " orders. Mine was purchased in " November, they even got this wrong. LOL Whatever the reasons for the delay I find it ridiculous. When someone buys something I don't beleive you have to wait 5 months with whatever excuses they have. I beleive the Chinese New Year and Christmas could have slowed down the mail but other Companies also send things from China and I'm sure this was not one of the reasons. Something must have back fired with them and they just couldn't deliver , if that is the case they better pull their socks up because they have just lost many clients. I for one will never buy anything more from them. Since I'm not going for their "Song and Dance " anylonger I asked to cancel my order ....now I don't know if they will do it but if they don't they are sure going to look worse than they do now. I think I have been more than patient and fair giving them 5 months.
Why I think it may not have been the responsibility of the TATA company is the fact, that someone I know locally made an order in early February on the international TATA site and she has already received her order last week. Someone else who ordered in Spetember got her order in 12 days and a girl who ordered in November got her order sent out in 10 days. They all ordered from the international TATA site - so delivery from that way seems all right. Delays only seem to affect the European angent (Miriam) - which honestly sounds strange... But we will see - I'm also waiting for an order from the international TATA site and they said they'll send it sometime this week. I haven't got a shipping notice yet, but I'll let you know how it goes.
Smaug : Thanks so much again , yes it seems it is only this "Miriam " that is delaying . Let's see if I get this right : From the seeing the site, Ajumapama and Tata's Europe is based in Spain and actually are the same companies and are agents and buyers of Tata's International , right ? So do you think if I mail Tata International and let them know what is going on they might be able to resolve my problem with Tata's Europe ? Would you mind giving me the mail for Tata International ? I hope you will get your orders quick from Tata International , from what you have said they seem to be very eficient and everyone are getting their things. If so I would send things from them without a doubt but they should know about Tata's Europe because many unsatisfied customers will think the same as I.
Heloo, I'm new to this and would like to ask if someone could help me with my problem. I sent some items with Tata's Europe in November 2009 around 48 euros of things and till now I have not received anything. In the beginning this lady "Miriam " said she will be sending them soon and then another mail replying around January saying that they will be sending . During this time their site kept saying this too and I waited patiently. Now as I said I wanted to cancel as it is going on 5 months she does not answer me anymore and I don't know what to do. I edited a post but I can't seem to find it as their was some response from other members complaining about Tata's Europe it seems. I know the post was not exactly " flattering " but I also don't think it's "incriminating " to let others know what is going on and I hope DoA is not thinking I'm hot headed as I have been waiting for 5 months...no items or reply form Miriam and just silence. I can't help but feel that I'm being cheated and this is not a way to treat clients . I don't know what else to do and if DoA could give me some insight I would be too grateful as I think that I have waited too patiently. Thank You so much for your time and if you could at least guide me through this I would be grateful.
Has anyone received theit items from Tata's europe ? It seems that she is just igonring me. What can one do if she does not reply or refund your money ?
Have you tried asking Tata International if they've had any contact with her recently? Maybe they can let you know if your items have been shipped to her as well. I'm not sure but Tata International usually replies very quickly to inquiries so hopefully they can help you out... Is the dealer on DoA? Might you be able to page her?
Do you have the address of Tata International ? I would be so grateful. That is a good idea and maybe they would give me some clues or even ask her. I mailed the moderator of DoA yesterday and hope someone will be able to help me , also mailed this Miriam of tata's Europe again yesterday. This is sooooo frustrating . Thanks so much .

Here is the email sent by Tata/ Europe today: Dear customers, I know your anger because there's a long delay in sending the orders of clothing. Many things have influenced...lack of materials, stock out, lack of workers and especially Tata new year holidays during the month of February . This has led to a month's delay added to the normal expected. Tata is trying to organize the shipment quickly, but not up to them only. I communicate with them and I can only transmit them your concern. I feel the same like you T_T If I could, I sew too... I am truly sorry for the inconvenience of the long wait. Please if you have any questions or can help with anything you write to me. All we can talk. I'm sorry, ashamed with this situation. Yours, Miriam I really hope all of you will recieve their items fast.
I'm not sure what you all want to do since Miriam has been communicating back but maybe you could start a paging thread and keep it updated until you all receive your items?
Thanks so much guys for the help and I will be pageing her in DoA and let's see what happens. I don't know if she is ignoring me because I said I wanted to cancel. I really can understand that she must be having a lot of problems but to not answer clients is not a smart move if you want to keep up your good name and not have angry customers. Wow, I feel so badly for you guys. I've always ordered from the Tata site directly, and believe me, I've never waited more than a couple of weeks for their stuff to ship, which comes well-packaged, and sometimes with an extra little present tucked in! It is definitely shipped directly from China each time, but their clothes are well-made and their service has always been top-notch. Definitely not the experience you're describing with this dealer! I placed my laster order with them in November, and the half-dozen articles of clothes were shipped in about a week or two, arriving well before Christmas. I'm not posting this to rub anything in, I just wanted to let you know that Tata's has always been one of the most reliable companies in my opinion, and I had seen no sign that they were having sewing issues or anything like that. I hope that helps when considering buying from them in the future (I totally appreciate their business and would hate to see them get a bad rep from this), and I really hope you can get this mess straightened out. .hlp

I sent from Tata's Europe and I have heard good things about them and that's why I thought it was strange because many people did get their orders but with me it wasn't happening and with some other members too but yesterday she Pm(ed) me in the end and with a very curt note saying it was not her fault because she had a family member dying in the hospital and had no computer there, had the items to be shipped but whatever way she will refund me my money. I just got the Pay Pal notice this morning with the money so I guess this problem has been resolved , thank goodness. Hope the other members will be able to get their items or money back because she is just spoiling her own name with all this. The way she has handled all this for me is very bad and her excuses that she has given has been very doubtful but at least this has been resolved . Thanks again for everything guys, I think without this Forum I would have never been able to have fixed this problem .
Guys, as you can see from this reply from Miriam it was because of " lack of materials, stock.... " etc but for me she said all this problem was because of " a family member dying " and had no computer in the hospital. It would have been better if she replied to me with this excuse instead of the family member dying. Whatever........ I'm totally exhausted with this.

I don't usually go for dealers, which can sometimes be good and sometimes bad (Felix Dolls is an example of when you want to go with a dealer). But direct from the company has always worked for me for Tata's, and I'm just wanting people to know that the company is, from every experience I've had, a good one. This dealer, she doesn't sound so hot, but I hope that there's still Tata's love out there is all. .hlp
Yes, when I sent from Tata's Europe I was foolish not to have checked up the companies and thought Tat's Europe was the same as China and since I am here in Portugal I thought Spain was great but it backfired on me. I so agree with you about dealers , not saying everyone is the same as this one but it is quite a hassel. From now on if I can I will avoid dealers as much as I can except for one in England - Angelesque which is totally honest and kind and only have good things to say about her. I'm going to send some things from Tata's paradise in China too . I don't know why Tata's paradise in China allows this one in Spain to use their name . People will get mixed up with the names (like me) and when things go wrong they will blame that Company. Hey Heidplay, thanks so much for your mail and info it was very kind of you. Let's hope everyone else that did business with this Miriam get's their things or their money refunded.
I just received my stuff today... wow never had to wait almost 5 months for just clothes. But whatever it's over now, but I definitely won't be ordering through tata's Europe ever again. At the very least she should have been more up front about how long expected wait would be before people order...

SHIN Zo : I also sent some items from China , those I sent from Tata's Spain but not the coats as it is Spring , also wrote to them telling them what happened with Tata's Europe . I'm glad I got the money back from this Miriam as I really didn't want more trouble but if she had continue to ignore me I would have got in touch with Pay Pal and have also complained about her. It's such a hassel with buying from Internet because if you get someone that is not honest you will have to go through so much trouble . There should be more ways that buyers can protect themselves for example : Pay half first and pay the rest when we get the items at the post office or something. This was the first time I sent things from Internet and it's scary to know how many people get cheated . I think we should really try to find out how we can protect ourselves before buying things.

GODZILLA : Yes, it seems so . If you scroll down and read the old mails , one is from SMAUG and she was kind enough to inform us. I got it all mixed up too in the begining and thought Tata's International was also her. It's not. AJUMAPAMA is also Tata's Europe but maybe you better confirm this before anything . Maybe you just better send from Tata's International in China as everybody seems quite happy with them and their things always arrives. When I get my things from China I will let you all know. I think from now on before I send anything from anybody I'm going to check the DoA threads. Not that there is any gurantee but at least the percentage is higher that you don't have to get into a hassel with your orders. GOOD LUCK guys.
