Tan/Sunlight SDM Dolls

    1. I’m interested in getting a SDM in sunlight/tan skin tone as I love the Volks sculpts and faces but I’m not keen on really pale skin tones. I can’t find many pictures of dolls in this skin tone so could you please share if you have one?

      Also let me know anything you can about them! Are they often released? What sculpts are currently available in tan? Where is it best to buy?

      I also have a Sunlight SDM F33, I will have to get a photo of her.

      Volks USA does offer 5 sculpts about two times a year. If you're in the US (or Canada?), that's one way to order. However, they do also pop up on Yahoo Japan auctions, Mandarake and Dollyteria, if you're up for ordering from Japan!

      Lastly, this tone is offered as a "Coordinate Model" or CM from Volks. They are ready to purchase dolls during certain events. Certain proxies offer pickups for them as well! They come with a wig and outfit for the season.

      I’m looking at Mandarake, Dollyteria and YJapan already, as well as FB groups and Instagram. I don’t mind ordering from Japan although obviously I’d rather get a doll closer to home that’s not always possible.

      I’m in the UK so as far as I’m aware there is literally no way I can order directly from Volks unless I use a proxy?

    4. You can order in-stock items, enter lotteries for new dolls etc from Volks Japan no issue from the UK, but for special stuff like FCS, and for anything from Volks USA, you will need a proxy.
