Shopping Tall 1/4 girls at about 50cm? Weirdly between MSD and SD sizes?

Souldoll Vito girls if you can find them are around 49cm if I remember correctly and Dollmore Zaoll stand around 52cm.Their heads are 6-7ish. Zaolls are more 7-8ish.

If you are not against hybriding Dream Valley also has some tall bodies, thought their heads variate in size.

 

There are some older dolls you might find secondhand, like “small SD” girls about 50cm tall and with 7-8 heads like the older Souldoll Double Girls, Zaoll, Oceanmoon, etc.

Soom Rosette girls on the pure body (47cm) are more like elongated mature minis with smaller heads (6-7?). The muse body (43cm) variant has basically the same measurements except for leg length.

 

Seconding Souldoll Vito girls, they are 53cm but still more like large MSDs than short 1/3 (at least as far as shoes/wigs/eyes are concerned). They are not as thin and frail-looking as the Dollzone dolls you mentioned, though. Dollmore Zaoll is also around the 50cm mark but it's more of a short SD sculpt in all other measurements, especially next to other 1/4 size dolls.

 

Raccoon Doll has dolls the same size as Iplehouse's Fashion doll.

SatoriaJ's MSD are 45/47 and 51/52, female and male respectively. Also 5-6in head sizes.

MerryDollRound has just remastered their Komorebi body, which with the intended head sculpt will stand at ~52cm. The artist has said via Instagram that they plan to hold a preorder sometime around Nov/Dec 2023

Granado just released a 50cm version of their Evolve body, a muscular mature looking male. They already had a 49cm masculine body on offer, but it's promising to see them expand their portfolio in this size range. They may have plans to similarly scale-down some of their feminine bodies. They may be a company to keep an eye on in the future.

 

Vinyl BJDs at 50 cm: Obitsu, Angel Philia, and Azone (Iris Collects?).
Doll Chateau Kids have a tendency to be on the taller side (loooong legs).
