~+Tai & Matt - SD & TK - MSD Digimon Cosplay Project+~

    1. W00t! first time posting a thread here! <3

      Well... i didnt know if anyone would actually be interested in this seeing as Digimon... is quite an old anime, and people tend to hate it along with pokemon :/ but i dont care xD i love digimon (and pokemon fr that matter too!) and this is for anyone who is interested really!

      Note: im still not good with my sewing, but im pround of whatever I make because i put alot of effort into what i do! so if you have any comments, please be nice, or leave some contructive criticsim : ) Thanks!

      EDIT - Ive now extended this project lol. I shall now be going a Sora on the Saturday and Yamato(Matt) on the Sunday! :D and my little blond hair MSD Buddy Miku shall be Cosplaying as Takeru(TK)! YAY!

      Okay.

      As my Cosplay outfit for the MCM London May Expo Shall be Sora Takenouchi from Digimon Season 1. (Saturday)

      I Decided... Why not let my 2 big boys cosplay too! : D

      So im in the process of making there outfits :3

      Azul Shall be Taichi 'Tai' Kamiya - [​IMG]

      Kyouya shall be Yamato 'Matt' Ishida - [​IMG]

      : D

      On the Sunday I shall be Cosplaying as Yamato Ishida So im going to make my little Blond MSD Miku, a TK Cosplay Outfit!!! Look out for his progress too!!!

      Miku Shall be Takeru 'TK' Takaishi - [​IMG]

      PROGRESS SO FAR -
      Azul/Taichi       70%
      Kyouya/Yamato 45%
      Miku/Takeru 90%

      Azul/Tai's t-shirt is Pretty much finished! I just need to find my fabric glue... so i can make sure everything stuck on properly and then were set to GOGO! :3

    2. Azul/Taichi

      WHOOOOOOO Finally got the fabric for Trousers & Shorts!

      Here are the shorts lol. there a little dark... and tight :/ im tempted to remake them and use the opposite side of the fabric :3 might do if i feel like it during the week... for now these are the shorts.

      Yeah and i did the socks... however i made them like leg warmers so they dont go inside the shoe, because Azul's Feet are big enough... he really doesnt need anything else filling out his shoes >.<

      And heres a full body shot including the Goggles on Azul.

    3. Heres my Prgress on Miku/ Takeru (TK)

      Okay His T-shirt! which i think came out pretty well.. the sleaves on the Tee are a bit to short... but it works with the childlike image i think lol. and the colours arnt exsactly the same... however its close enough xD

      His Hat... Well... untill i find a Large ovel shaped bead... im sticking with this doughnut one LOL and the ribbon i suppose could be better placed... might change it later on.

      and His socks. The same with Tais/Azuls There just leg warmers because the shoes wont go on there feet if i make them into socks lol.

      Now lastly i shall make his shorts! and great news for me i dont have to go out to buy any new fabric because hsi shorts are brown!!! XD and i just bought that fabric... and i know this time to get the lighter colour i will flip the fabric over to the other side :3

    5. I love Digimon!! It was my very first cosplay (Ken Ichijouji) :DDD
      Sora Takenouchi is my favorite girl in there, and if I may say (without getting burned on a cross), Taitora is my 2nd favorite pairing of the series. :3

    6. Another Digi-fan here too! (Hell, I got shunned for liking it over Pokemon, back in the day ^^) So I admit, I DID click on this thread due to the mention of a childhood fave. You have good taste in semi-old-school anime!

      But anyway: Matt's/Kyouya's shirt is looking awesome - the neck looks really good! Have fun adding the fiddly bits of Tai's/Azul's shirt too, I imagine they'll be very...fiddly.

      Overall, good luck! And have fun at EXPO ^^ (only 39 days to go~!)

      EchoAlias - :D Thanks and Oh my god... they wernt as fiddly as i thought... but cutting out the stars was a pain in the ass... i should have used felt instead of streachy fabric lol ah well!

    9. Ah Digimon *squeels* You're doing a great job so far, once you're finished I think they'll be very recognizable. I love Yamato, he was my favorite character I totally fangirled for the whole first part of the Digimon movie :lol: and your Kyouya make a sexy Matt :lol:

      Akikazu       - hehe Thanks! and awww Yama i think was my second fave... TK's been my fave throughout the series! xD he wa too adorable in the first and then he grew up and KYAH!!!! :3 lol but thanks! lol Kyouya is a little embarrased at being called sexy but he says thank you! teehee!

    11. @Terry, Taiora was AWESOME! lol Years later, I'm still a tad bitter about it not working out after having been lead on like it would. @_____@; And they didn't even make up for it by putting Kari and TK together.. *grr* From then on, none of my fave couples on the show worked out in the end (even though I guess there got to be fewer canon couples anyway, so us fans had about a 1 in 10 guess XD). [/off-topic]

      Back on topic, I love the idea of Sora carrying around Tai and Matt dolls... It's like the original love triangle all over again! XD

    13. Another way to do goggles would be to take soda lids and drill out the middle. I've done it before, and it works.

    23. I used to love that Digimon series as a kid; and I still do!
