[Adopted] SWITCH Discussion ~ Part VI

I'm kind-of-but-not hoping they'll also be releasing Mocha Seolrok and WS Waseon, as that's what I'd love both those sculpts in. But even so, Waseon in MB will be really, really hard to resist. ;w; If I make enough $$ at a convention I'm tabling at next weekend I might be able to swing one of them, even though I should really be saving for other things. But just when I think I'm about to be good doll-wise for a while, Switch comes along and ruins all my plans!

Youpla Juzo is amazing! I really love those more 'anime' eyes in a more realistic doll, it gives a really nice effect!

 

I love love love Tokyo Ghoul and you've done a nice job Youpla!

Everytime I see Seolrok my finger hovers over the thread for WTB, lol!
I'm still aiming for Soseo, Ajeong, and Shiho for sure! ^^

But now Sohwa and Seolrok keeping popping into my head and it's driving me up the wall.

Does anyone else have more Switchies on their wishlists?

 

I love switch's dolls in mocha so much but never have enough saved up when those release dates roll around I'm definitely going to try harder to get one of those boys, they're gorgeous.

I received my Hyul:Shine a few days ago. ;v; He's going to be one of my biggest WIPs for a while.. his name is Cephas. uvu I'm so thankful that I was able to bring one of my dream dollies home.



He’s a young witch who finds solace in nature. He’s quite wary of others and it takes a while for him to open up to people (he prefers the company of his plants).

 

It isn't confirmed it's a Waseon yet, but the lips are very suggestive. I suppose I ought to hope it isn't...I've just plunked down 50% of the price of an IOS Ciel, so that's a lot of budgeting I'll have to do if he goes on-sale this month. Oh well, I suppose I can just go to Emerald City and Sakuracon with, like, nooooo funds whatsoever!

Since the next release is looking to be Seolrok & (possibly) Waseon, I decided to take some pictures of my two guys to remind myself that I don't need to buy them in different skin tones. Though I'm terribly tempted by that mocha brown!!

I am not sure who they are but the mocha one really looks like Waseon, just judging from the lips !
I am not sure about the one in the bottom though, Seolrok has very plump lips and the ones in the pic don't look that way (but that could be the way they are painted) !

So the speculations were right, and it is Mocha Waseon and White Seolrok! I'm definitely tempted to replace my Waseon with the MB version, but I'll be good and hold off. He is very handsome, though!


And just for fun, I took this photo for a comparison thread yesterday, and it amuses me greatly. This is my Soseo, Ramses, modeling a Volks SD16 girl body. He is not terribly thrilled about it, alas! XD;

 

Waseon definitely look interesting in this skin tone. I hope they re-release mocha soseo again. I think he is my favorite in mocha brown.

 

As much as I love mocha Waseon, I really want the opposite colours of this release! I hope they end up doing a mocha Seolrok and white Waseon in the future.

I think that Waseon looks much younger in mocha skin than he did in normal skin?

 

I think you're right, Waseon does look younger, and that suits me just fine! Showed my sis, and she's totally keen on our getting him next week, yeah! Too bad there's no faceup option, but that's hardly a dealbreaker. I'm so excited to see him in this color!

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. I would LOVE to see Seolrok in MB. Sohwa though in MB still haunts me with his good looks >///<
I think I'm officially going to try and add Seolrok to my Switch family but I think I prefer NS ^^ I'm also still thinking about Ahi...

BTW Izam I would love to see your Waseon boy again. He's quite handsome ^^

 

It's funny how just a change of resin color can make a doll look different.

 

Haha, and I'm here thinking MB Waseon looks more mature compared to NS Waseon. So i agree with your sentiments, Cloudedmind.

Good luck to those who want either MB Waseon and WS Seolrok when the time comes (especially with the dolls having a limit of 50 each)! It might be a bloody fight of clicks, lol.

 

Gosh ... Tanned Waseon is just gonna kill me... I have him in NS but this is screaming "BUY ME" BUT it is bad timing for me to buy any doll right now... Depleted my monthly doll fund for some other doll... Anyone getting tanned Waseon, please post tons of pictures....

 

Well, I hope I'm getting Waseon, and I've done my share of click-battles before (I've gotten more than one Rosen Lied The One dolls, so that makes me hopeful!), and we'll just have to see. It is a beast of a time to have him be offered, but it's either go now, or live forever with soul-shattering regret...or something like that. He's just perfect for a particular character, my sis and me both felt so when we saw him in NS over at Dollism Plus in Buffalo last year, but mocha's waaay better for this character. So excited!

Is anyone going for WS Seolrok? I've just been in a complete haze around Waseon, but clearly he's divine as well!

Tanned Waeson is such a beautyyyyyy. I love him so much!! I'm also really curious how Switch's mocha skin would look after a while when the skin gets lighter. Really happy that they get lighter than turning green!!

As we get closer to the sale date I'm getting more and more conflicted about Waseon! I really think their tan is gorgeous and Waseon is NOT a bad looking fellow but.... Do I need another switch boy so soon???? I'm sure you all go through this kind of conflict too lol

 

LOL! On top of my other spring purchases, if I get him, I may ban myself from dolly sales until autumn...but on the other hand, look at him! And how many chances might I have to get him? And I honestly need him now, he's the only one from my character set who's actually missing. So getting him is just so simple to me in that sense, now what's not simple is actually getting him before he's sold out. We'll see! I hope he's popular nonetheless because I do sort of adore how creative everyone always is with the same sculpt!

@NoNoNanoon I always used 16 mm in my Ryun. But I think 14mm would work too?

is going to be dark brown-black ^^

I also just noticed that my name for my Milhwa sounds like your name for your Hyul. My Milhwa's
name is Caiphas-Victorique XD Cephas is just too adorable! ^//^

So stressful, ordering Waseon! I was merrily clicking away when it errored out on my daytime phone number, which was right, honestly, I tried a million different things! But then I ended up switching browsers and redoing everything, and that did the trick. I know he might not sell out right away, but when you're in the emotional rush of ordering, it is quite stressful.

But I did order him, payment's through, yeah! Now I will just be broke for Emerald City Comicon. And yet at this moment, blissful.
