Marha, not a problem sharing my flickr. This is the set specifically dedicated to the 56cm girl, Alice. But, because of how the rules are set up here, I can't even start thinking of submitting her for the DoA approval process till she's in resin... Yikes!

Izza, OMG! Just look at that sweet little face! I'm in love with the tan versions... When the time comes, sending Greyhaunt her dark tan boy is going to be torture! XD

The cargo pants pattern that I gave you will work nicely for him. Ask zirc for the sewing instructions on those... I KNOW she's got the instructions around. This little cutie (who was donated for a charity auction at last Dollakon in Texas) is wearing a set of cargo pants from that pattern:

Oh don't worry Kiki! I plan on spamming the heck out of him and I plan on doing a box opening once I get him I have the tracking number open on my computer at work and I keep refreshing it every moment I have to sit and check to see if be was delivered yet.

I'm about to run back out the door but Colum is here!! His wig, sadly, isn't and I don't have any wigs that'll fit him currently (though he's still adorable bald), but I adore him. You did a fantastic job, Kiki-chan! I'll have a box opening for him either tonight or tomorrow when I get back from work.

So, Colum is here and looking adorable (even though he somehow beat his wig, also from Emory, and for some reason none of my wigs are a size 8). I took box opening pictures but had to run right out again last night so I'll hopefully have some up this afternoon. I wanted to take some cute pictures of him in the snow but now that the snow is gone I guess that won't happen.

 

Hopefully there will be snow on the ground over Christmas break so I can get those pictures for you, KellyinDallas! Don't worry, there will be a ton of pictures of him once his wig gets here. And I love that sleeping picture of him. I would definitely trust this doll with any sort of trick that I may want to do but I'm so clumsy I don't trust myself!

 

For the wigs, basically, you are looking for either a large 7-8, or a small 8-9. It's kinda like the Parabox Gretel head, which again is a flat out size 8, most people shove those into 8-9 for convenience sake. ^.~

My Allisons normally get to wear 7-8 Monique Gold Jojo wigs. If the wig is fighting me, I put a hot-glue wig-stop in place, and it holds really well! I've also tried them in the 8-9 as well, which is also cute. ^___^

Thanks, Kiki-chan. I put him in a temporary wig that I managed to find this afternoon. I actually bought him a Glib wig during JS's storewide sale Saturday and it should be here come tomorrow!

Just paid for my Allison!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to get him home. Really need to track down his wig and such. Hopefully he'll be able to share w/the other boys on clothing when he gets here. With his size being so different, I'm afraid to try sewing in advance.

I can't wait to get him. When Kelly and I get together to work on DollAKon stuff I have to snuggle her boy, he is just adorable.

Ordered a wig last night and just bought some eyes...if the other dolls allow him to keep them, we'll be doing good. I swear every resin and vinyl person in this house is a thief if the opportunity suits them. There are a few clothing items that should work for him until I get a chance to sew or buy him stuff of his own.

My boy was one of the color tests Kiki ordered from the casting company, so it will be a few weeks more while he travels to her from JS and then travels to me. But I'm excited...I've been waiting to get one of these cuties since I saw the prototypes back in 2011.

 

I'm supposed to be receiving 4 bodies (the heads are already here). There's two NS-Pale, which look like they should match most NS dolls out there; one NS-Pink which is the default color that my boys will be stocked in, this doesn't match a lot of other companies stuff, so even though it's a cute color, it's not good for hybridization. Last one is a dark tan, and he looks pretty much like a yummy milk-chocolate.

Gah! I can't wait till they arrive. ^___^

Man I love Glib wigs. They're so soft! Jacob is definitely getting a new wig soon just like this...anyway! Colum in his wig!

 

The Allison Elf I got was cast by FDoll, and they put waaaay too much elastic in him so I had to cut it shorter and restring him, but now he stands rock solid like he's supposed to!


Here he is in all his naked glory holding the elastic I cut out.

Here's Zo in all his elfy cuteness. I also put up a picture of him in the database so all can see his cuteness. He's got that big ol' jacket on though so it's hard to see his amazing design.

Uhm, before anyone asks, he is a custom face-up. This is why he looks so different from the defaults that everyone else is receiving. Part of me is still debating putting some piercings in him. I think a few cartilage piercings and a belly-ring would be cute. ^.~

Oh, database! I like his faceup, Kiki-chan, suits his surfer look. And the tattoos closeup look nice - I've noticed them in his full body pictures but couldn't really see them well.

 

The road to success is always a long one, congratulations.....you made it! I'm so proud of you He's perfect!

(Now you need to bang out some tinies....hahahaha)

 

I was thinking about giving Zo a few piercings too. It would definitely fit the character. He and Gabe both could go for some fun "bedazzling." ;-)

 

So, Kiki-chan78 and I were talking and she managed to get one of the Allison's to actually do a handstand - hands only, no other support! So I had to do it too! This doll can really pose!

 

That's amazing guys, really it is. I've got to get Zo out and get some poses with him doing amazing things. It should be Sweet Dolls vs. Obitsu. LOL

 

Sweet Doll v. Obitsu would be such an interesting comparison I think! It can be a pose off of Zoolander proportions!

Poor Colum's kind of just tooling around in sweatpants right now, waiting for his clothes to get here from China. If his jeans get here before Christmas I may break down and make him a sock sweater before his real sweater gets here.

 

Zo will model "THE MAGNUM!!!!" for everyone. hehehehehe... though I don't think I can compete with the collection of handstands going on in Kikiland. :-p

 

Yep I'm sold. If I can manage to somehow save my money and NOT give in to temptation I'm gonna be getting an Allison of my own. Can't say when can't say how...But I will..

Plus c'mon who can resist the possible TRON posing of awesome?

 

Believe me, Arashi Uchiha, he is a cute little doll! My poor Colum looks so sad and pouty waiting for his clothes. I want to do a photostory of him wrapping the presents I have for my friend's doll "from him"....hopefully I can get that done next Friday when my Christmas break starts.

I think Zo could rock the Magnum pretty well, Trethowan! Colum will stay with the classics, Blue Steel.

IzabethS - he is gorgeous. What color wig will he have?

Ajee - the Sweet Dolls Allison is an SD10 size doll...if we go by the Volks standard of naming doll sizes, he should represent a character roughly in the tween age range. My boy is an immortal around age 200, but he first died at age 12 and his aging was slowed...so he looks really young and is short as an adult. The Allison is PERFECT for him.

And my boy went in the mail today! Now to stalk USPS like I have no life!!

Green - my favorite color!

Skylar was going to have green hair, but he ended up with a JoJo style that is blonde w/purple highlights. His adopted kiddo (nephew by blood) is most likely getting a black wig w/green highlights. Dolls - they are always changing my best laid plans!

 

Kyrenea - I know what you mean! It took me a year of coaxing to get another doll to be the way I wanted him. This boy though, Alex, is coming together slowly. He'll need robes like a scholar. He swiped the glasses from another one of my dolls who I'm waiting on (Sweet Dolls Alice!).

 

My Allison is also on a round of "stealing" from other dolls. I have a complete outfit with shoes, eyes and a wig set aside for him. KellyInDallas let me borrow her Allison to test fit everything, except for the shoes which I just got yesterday in the mail. But I've heard he wears SD13 shoes, so I think I'm good.

He'll be hanging out face-less for a few months until Kiki comes into Dallas for DollAKon. But since I plan to try and do some sewing for him, it is all okay - less worry I'll damage his face-up.

I'm also getting an Alice - but she will be heavily modded. That is unless I can convince Kiki she wants to do a small bust option!

 

I saw your pictures on flickr, Izabeth, and I love his look! Great job!

I need to take some pictures of Colum in his new wig....maybe before I pack....maybe.

And I'm glad this thread is revived; this sculpt is just so cute and owned by so many talented people, I can't stop looking at other people's owner pics.

 

You know, I have no idea how old Zo is. Never thought about it. I'll go with impetuous 20-something. HA

 

I know that Alex looks like a teenager, but is in fact about 200 thanks to being an immortal and all.
