I feel like I don't remember how to post a box opening anymore. Anyway, he's gorgeous, Supia is awesome, now have some pics! hello Noah!! I'm super happy with him. He's just as gorgeous in person as he looked in photos online. The faceup is so beautiful and his resin quality is lovely. It's got nice tooth without being bumpy or rough (it lets him hold poses well but he squeaks a little lol). Very minimal seamlines, and his posing is pretty good! Not the best but, I can work with it (his knees are a bit hard to activate, and he bit me while I was testing them). Since he's 65cm, he can fit most of my boy clothes, although his thighs...might pose a problem. He could barely squeeze into 70cm pants that...are not meant to be tight. haha It's ok. The sculpting everywhere is very detailed and I love how he radiates Supia's distinct style. I've adored Supia dolls for ages so I'm very happy to have one of my own! Anyway, his name is Noah, and I have nothing for him yet. I think I do want a burgundy wig for him, similar to what he was shown with in his promo pics, though longer. That color really makes his faceup pop! I have lots of ideas about his personality and story but not sure which one will stick as of yet. For now I will just continue to stare dreamily at him and let ideas percolate. His flickr album in case photos break later: X (this will also update with all photos I take of him going forward!)
Whoa! He's really handsome! And I agree...I wouldn't know how to do a Box Opening/Arrival post anymore. Hahaha. It's been too long. Thanks for sharing his arrival and congratulations on getting him.
First of all, congratulations! The Supiadoll molds are gorgeous, beautiful boy. The makeup work is divine. Could you tell me if the knees have good mobility? Thanks
Thank you! As for his knees, I'd say they are average, but not great. They do have good mobility, however it is difficult to activate the double joint in the knee without pulling out, which is hard to do in pants. I took some photos though, to show what he can do! No wires, no sueding, and he holds this very easily. more photos: Spoiler what his knees will do without activating the double joint- activated they sit like this, though they can go a bit further like in the top photo-
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for the photos I've been wondering for a while now what the joints of a 65cm boy's body look like. Noah is truly beautiful.
