Hi guys - I really love these two new heads - can anyone tell me if you can use these sized Supia heads on a less mature body - such as a Dollstown 13 body? If not does anyone have a hybrid on a different body that is not so "busty"? Thanks

Hey I have never order from supia before. What is this ordering period? What are they for the new dolls Hael and Muse? Also, what is the layaway period? Thanks so much everyone. These girls are amazing.

I always wanted an Supia BJD, but Rosy and Roda are too beuatifull for my taste, somehow I wont know what to do with them, Muse has more chara IMHO...

I love the new girls! Elves are definitely my fav and will eventually join my crew as soon as I get rid of some of my current layaway. ^^

 

Muse is amazing! I've always loved Lina & Lana's elf ears, but was never totally in love with the sculpts... But I love Muse! I'll definitely be getting one soon Adorable little elf!

Both of the new girls are absolutely lovely. Great job Supia on all of your beautiful girls!

 

OMG new girls ! I'm really in pain now ! I love them ! But I just purchased a doll and can't afford another one for now.

ohh dear thanks for letting us know, i like very very much Muse actually, i guess in the end it's juts personal taste, and i'm with Azraelita rosy and roda are very beautiful, but i guess that with custom face-up muse could be very very interesting....

 

Muse is beautiful! She definitely reads fairy to me. I love Hael's nose! I picture them though on smaller bodies, since they're more childish looking to me. Rosy is still my favorite, but I'm waiting for WS to return!

Would anyone happen to have a NS supia with a WS soom doll?

The new girls are very pretty, I must say. But they're too young looking for my taste ;_; I liked how Rosy and Roda were mature... Muse and Hael have so round faces. But I love Muse's ears! Even thought I don't collect elf dolls I'd like them on my Roda.

 

LotusMoon, I happen to have a NS Yan (made in March 2009) and two Soom CW dolls (a tiny and a SG). Would that help?

Ontopic: Love the new girls. They are definitely not as mature as Rosy and Roda were, but somehow Muse is really speaking to me. I'm thinking of reshelling one of my characters in her.
Anyone happen to have a new Supia body? I've seen the arm / leg posability, but can anyone tell me if the wrists actually move up and down?

 

agree agree it would be great, i'm not sure if this juts a personal issue but i find much more easy to figure the colors palette face-up of a WS head then NS......

 

Oh mon dieu I am soooo in love with Muse...I have no money right now, of course, waaahhh!! :cry So I am seconding the request for hybrids. I might be able to buy her head and see if it would work on my Everpurple Iris body-- it matches Volks normal resin, would it match Supia's also?

 

i really don't know as volks normal is more yellowsih then pink skin, i've read somewhere that supia NS is more like crystal rose...but i'm quite sure...

 

unfortunatley i've plannes something for DEC but then i've changed my mind, so i really don't know...

 

I don't know if my experience with Supia is too long ago, I bought a doll from them half a year ago. They shipped the doll in about 45 days after payment. I think it was pretty fast thought.

Supia normal is a pinekeish pale normal; it matches well with Dollmore, DZ pink, Iple normal, Glorydoll, Elfdoll and in general, all the normal skins that are pale and tend more to pink than to yellow.

Wow they're both really beautiful! I prefer Hael over Muse though, she reminds me a little of a more childish Rosy Definitely one for the wishlist. Oh and did I dream this or did Supia announce that they were discontinuing their tan skin? I can't find anything about it. It would be a shame, the Supia tan skin is one of the most beautiful tan colours around.

Zomboid : I do believe that tan will no longer be available. I think it was just too hard to do. Supia says they'll be introducing new colors, so we'll see. The tan really was beautiful!

 

That's the problem, I don't remember lol. I think it was on Supia's website but I'm not sure. It said something like there had been too many problems with the production of the tan skin. I wish I could remember where I read it...

edit: ah ok LotusMoon confirmed it. Too bad...

 

ohhh i'm such sad for your really*MOD hugs on*, but hopefully Supia could do some fresh skin like the IP, it could be interesting.....

It's not the best comparison as there was some photo editing involved, I'll make a better picture once I have the time and nice light, but here you can see the difference between the SM Appini (produced May 2010) and Supia Yan (produced March 2009). The photo dates from June 2010. If you want a hybrid - that's a definite no, but otherwise they look nice together.

lady-kitsune : Thank you! I wasn't planning on making a hybrid. I wanted a supia girl to go with a WS Soom, which is why I want her in WS, but NS looks like they go well together.

So do we have until feb28th to order these two girls? I checked the other supia thread and no one seems to know. Also, I'm confused on where I was supposed to post my question. I really want to order Muse, but I just need to double check when the last day is.

 

Supia's news page says things they were planning for the new year:" Third, during our winter event, we had to close our shopping mall because of the problem of shipment.
So we'll change the ending date to February 28, 2011."

The engrish is hard for me to decipher, but i thought I understood that it meant that the ordering period was going to close on February 28th. Was I way off base? I'm sorry, i have never order from Supia before and I'm not sure how it works

Tetradeka, they had a winter event scheduled for different dates, but had to close the site much earlier because they got too many orders. They then prolonged the event to February so that those people who couldn't order during the original run would get a second chance It has nothing to do with the new girls - they are not limited.
But just to be clear: Supia sometimes put their dolls out of stock (as is currently the case with Yan and Yisol), then put them back on. *the tan Rosy is definitely sold out though - they discontinued their tan as someone has already mentioned earlier in the thread.*

 

Thank you! I just asked Supia the same question and the answered the same. So I placed a Muse on layaway last night and I am so excited! I guess I just have to wait for the first invoice, right?

Yay! I just sent my first Layaway payment for Muse! I made a mistake last week and sent the money to [email protected]!
The correct address is [email protected] I felt so stupid! Thankfully, I called Paypal and cancelled and everything was put in order. I hope I never make that mistake again. Does anyone know if Muse has the Smokey or the Normal makeup in the website pictures? I am excited for her!

Hey pacific: I asked Supia twice for a paypal invoice, but all they did was send me an email and a response on the QandA with the amount to pay for my first layaway. I ended up just sending it to them, but I was in a hurry and distracted and didn't notice I typed in the email incorrectly That was exactly what I was afraid would happen!

So I guess according to other people as well on the Supia 2010 review thread, they also just sent payment and didn't get an invoice.
