Hello. I searched and did not find what I was looking for. I am interested in seeing the proportions of female Supia heads on the Fairyland Feeple 60 Moe girl body. Most interested in the Supia Nael sculpt but I figure all the female heads will be roughly the same size. Resin match is not an issue here as I do not mind colour matching. Thank you in advance.
Hello! I would like to know about this compatibility too, that is, has anyone already assembled a hybrid in light tan supia and fairyland.
So I have a Supiadoll Noa in Supia's normal resin, and Feeple60 Moe bodies in tan resin, so it won't be a match, but I can play mix and match heads if you'd like. From eyeballing it, I can tell you that the Supia head is significantly larger. Leaving a comment here to remind myself for after work. (I like looking at pictures of little plastic people to start my day. )
Ah ha! Found the thread. Took a couple days - restringing these dolls is a PITA. So - let me start with an apology. I did not put the Supia head on the Feeple60 body. The resins do not match at all, and I already knew I didn't like the Supia head on the Feeple60 body - head too big, body too small. I did put the head on the Feeple65 body though - and I like. I like VERY much. Noods, so spoiler: Spoiler: head swap nude dolls This is Feeple65 Medusa Angela on the Feeple60 body. Angela's head is smaller than Supiadoll Noa's. I didn't like Angela's head, so I didn't bother trying to put Noa on the Feeple60 body: But I put Noa on Angela's Feeple65 body, and I love it. Resin is an almost perfect match, too: Noa with wig next to Netis (Feeple60): And just for fun, I stuck Angela's head on the Impldoll Star Model (63 cm) body, and I love it (also a good resin match): My Flickr, if you get any red x's.
Thank you very much! I liked the combinations you showed, it helped me a lot!! The head I was thinking about putting in feeple 60 was Hael.
So putting the head adaptor on a new non-FL body is a little fiddly, but not that difficult. Removing said neck adaptor, however, was a total PITA. FL closed the s-hook around the elastic. I had to pry it open with some pliers, because there was no opening to remove the elastic. It was either cut the elastic or bend the s-hook. I kinda understand the thinking here in the sense that bending the s-hook closed keeps the elastic in place, but as someone who loves to swap, hybrid, and restring with abandon, I was irritated. Here's what you do: remove the feet to make the elastic loose, and pull the head adaptor off the neck. The adaptor is in 2 pieces that are snugly fit together. You have to pop the top piece (the part that you turn to hold the head in place) out, and the s-hook will slide out. Oh - you're going to need another, bigger s-hook to replace it with before you put a non-FL head on. The s-hook FL uses will slip right into the neck, and you will be annoyed. Wouldn't hurt to grab a silicone kip to put under the new s-hook, too.
It was a lot of work, but your tips were great! I had never disassembled a body before, and the elastic happened to slip out, and I had to learn how to do the whole assembly again. And then when I finally thought I was done, I saw that the new hook didn't adapt correctly. Any size tips for the Hook S for this body?
You're going to need one that is at least double the size of the FL one. If you're ordering from a dealer or a doll company, you'll want the "SD" size s-hooks (same if you order off, say, Etsy). Supia heads have a good size opening inside. So something like this, or this Volks set, or this set on Etsy in 1/3 size. Ah, bless Pro Dolls for giving us measurements (1.5 cm by 3.2 cm).
Finally! I achieved. The color is not identical, but in photographs it is almost imperceptible, depending on the light in the room. I'm delighted, she looks cute with that body! I thank you for all the tips given here, they were very important! Supia Hael X Fairyland feeple body
As I said, I know that the color compatibility is not 100%, the resin on the body is more “red”, but depending on the lighting this difference disappears, especially in photographs. I didn't do color editing, I'll do more tests, but I'm satisfied. I also liked the proportion of the body to the head, so here's a tip for anyone who wants to try it on other, more compatible resin colors. *sorry for the bad English
