Would someone be so kind as to tell me the hip measurement for the single joint body, please? I'm trying to decide if an outfit made by a friend will fit and I can only find the bust and waist measurements. My girl isn't back home yet and won't be for a bit. Thank you so much!

 

I'll second opal's request for waist and hip measurements.

 

The single joint body has a 16cm waist and 25cm hip measurement. Hope it helps.

Hi everyone! I was looking for a sculpt for an OC and Sianserais nudged me towards Supia ... and one of their girls might indeed be coming home Any chance for Eunice, Naomi, or Ariel pics?

 

Ariel is so beautiful in tan, and Naomi is just such a unique beauty. Those are the two I was considering between as well. Love to see more pics and people's opinions on posing abilities. I'm especially interested in the amount of head movement on these dolls. How far can they look up or down?

 

Naomi is the new gift head, so no one has her yet. I just succumbed and ordered Hael with makeup on both heads. The event will be over at anytime!

Well, after looking around some more and thanks to some well-timed help by Jany I'm 99% sure I'll be ordering Ariel's head - hopefully soon! I'd also love some pic-spam of her!

I'm also looking to possibly put her on the Loongsould 63cm girl body, if anyone has any idea what color might be best (I've never seen LS in person - I have no idea XD)

Thanks very much for your compliments. ^_^ eunice really is neat. She has the most angles to work with of any sculpt I've ever had. Plus, her teeth are wonderful. I love how so many of supias sculpts have teeth.

Newbie to the thread, and I have been having a really hard time trying to choose a Supia girl that I like the best. I really like Lina, but Juah is really lovely too and she looks the closest to how I am picturing my character who I am planning to shell soon. I'm so weak for tan skin Juah but she won't fit the character's background. Is there any more NS Juah photos to refer to?

 

ragster: I think flickr might be your best bet to find pictures of ns Juah. But I know the feeling, so many of them are so gorgeous that it would be difficult for me to choose also if I bought another one from Supia haha.

It's official -- I am in love with these sculpts! I cannot image getting anything other than a Supia Doll sculpt as my first BJD!

 

I really love the Supia Hamin sculpt! I've noticed some of you have it, and they're all gorgeous. Only makes me want her even more >.< Supia Doll has amazing, naturally beautiful sculpts and bodies. I can understand why everyone is so in love with them

I have my first Supia girl on her way home, a lovely Juah I won at auction. I have a few questions for any Juah owners here

I have a pair of 14mm Mako eyes I think would look lovely - do you think these would work?

What size wig is best? 7-8" or 8-9"

I will be getting a Hamin soon. I was also wondering if anyone had a preference on the bodies. I saw this asked a few times, but here I am asking again. I watched sdrcow's youtube video review on the single jointed body and it looks like the posing is pretty great. I love the aesthetics of the single jointed body. But I don't want to miss out on something incredible if the double jointed body can do amazing things the single jointed body can't. Other than kneeling and having a choice of bust sizes, are there any other huge benefits to the new body? Thanks for any info!

I was wondering about this too. I really like the look of the single jointed body, but then I don't want to be missing out if the double jointed body has much more range of movement.

 

Does anyone know if the polyurathane resin Supia uses has UV protection? I have seen an increase in doll companies that offer it, so I was merely curious.

 

Isn't uv resin always french resin? Supia makes dolls with normal urethane.

Luts and a few other companies posted something about offering a new skin option, such as "Real Skin" which uses UV protection urethane as a resin option. I didn't know if Supia offered this as well.

 

Hi guys, I recently received my beautiful Juah head painted by Lynsey (you can see pics here). At the moment she's borrowing my Spiritdoll Proud body but I'm thinking about getting her the Supia double jointed body. Could any let me know what size clothing fits best? Is she closer to SD13 or SD16 size?

magicalgirlme: I think Supia has just normal urethane, I'm pretty sure they would offer the older and with the new choice if they ever did.

UIaddicted: Omg she's so gorgeous! I have a ws Rosy head (7-8") on the older smaller April Story girl body. It's ok fit but larger heads probably will look too bobblehead on it. I wanted a bit shorter girl so I went for that body.

IUaddicted Yeah! I know, although I really love pretty much all of the Supia scults. It was so hard to choose which one I wanted. I think I'm gonna stick with the original body rather than the double jointed though. Which one do you have?
