...and here is Zenka in a blonde wig. I like this one but I think I'm still partial to his black one, tho' this one does give him an interesting look
That's so cool! And do you make the items? I remember growing up, my best friend's father made jewelry like that. He's kinda stopped. He makes things once in a while, still in great shape, but no jewelry I still have some rings he made though, I just love them!
Dark and mean is dang interesting though! Wow, I wouldn't have thought he could look so dark. Very cool!
Thanks Alewife, I don't think so either, lol!! Blonde took a little getting used to but I think the color looks pretty good on him
Thank you IngieBee. No these jewelry pieces are made by the Navajo tribe in the Southwestern US. I wish I was that talented tho'. These turquoise jewelry pieces were made back in the 1960s - 1970s.
Yah, that's when my ... Hell, he's practically my uncle, made them. I guess I'm dating myself, LOL. What a great way to get your dolls to earn their keep!!
Hey guys, I have a question. For anyone with a Supiadoll boy, do you know if an 8-9 Leekeworld wig will fit? Or should I go up a size to 9-10 since their wigs run small? If you have a boy in a leekeworld wig, let me know. I'm getting the wig for Hayil if that helps.
hello there.... I got a question.... where can I find the measurements of the body of those lovely guys? was at the homepage but did not find it planning to make a hybrid with the Supia-male body and wonder if my plan works well how bout the skintone, normal skin I mean.. more pinkish or more yellowish?
I don't find measurements on their site. The normal skin is pale and on the pinkish side, ie, not yellow but not noticeably pink. What measurements do you need and what are you trying hybrid?
nancy_schroeder_ca strange- maybe i got ot register to see the measurements or am stupid *G I wish to put an Iplehouse SID male head on that body.... or lets say... try to find out if i could
Thanks IngieBee I do too. I'm still kinda playing around with his look but I think he's really versatile and he may end up with several looks. Which is alright with me. Im hoping to get more pics of him soon.
Thank you Maechen I want to try some other colors and styles on him in the near future but the poor guy needs more clothes first, lol!!!
@KimC You're welcome! I am the complete opposite when it comes to dressing my dolls. Something feels off if the wig isn't exactly what I want. I went through four wigs for one of my male doll before finding the perfect one for him!
Lol!!! I can' keep him nekkid forever. I'm discovering ways to dress him that will enhance his sexiness.
I totally understand I did take several hours going through a box of wigs and clothes at ABJDC trying to find a look I liked on Zenka, that was a lot of work, but fun.
Thanks Nancy I got the shirt on Etsy from cottonhoney. They shipped out quickly and I got the shirt 10 days from the day I ordered. Thats pretty good for Thailand.
Been pretty quiet on this thread and I was hoping if anyone has any new pics of their Supia guys that they'd like to share I got a few new things for Zenka at a local doll show last Sunday and I hope to get pictures up of him tomorrow.
I actually picked up my Hayil. He's home and safe. But he needs some shows and a nice pair of jeans. His feet are enormous! 8.5cm x 3.5cm. Any suggestions for any ginormous shoes for him would be greatly appreciated. I felt like I tried on every shoe in the store and nothing worked. A reverse Cinderella if you will. I'm looking for some nice sneakers and boots. I have no pics of him up except on my Instagram. But soon!
I found some boots on Ebay from Blueblooddoll called Brown Martins that fit my boy's big feet. But it really is nearly impossible to find the right size shoes. I still haven't found sneakers yet.
Oh! I got the dragon T also! I haven't had time to try it on yet but I am very pleased with the quality!
Yup, me too. I really like how it fits too. I hope cottonhoney will keep making sd size boy clothes in the future since they are harder to find and in most cases pretty expensive too. At least cottonhoney's prices are pretty reasonable.
Thanks for the suggestion. It's less the length than the width. He has really wide, flat feet! LOL! I might have to make something for him. But I'm terrible at making shoes.
I just checked my account and my Jacob is marked as "on shipping" so I'll be able to contribute photos soon!
My tan Jacob arrived a few days ago, but sadly had a bad break just above his right ankle -- not just a chip broken off but a crack all the way through the part, running more than halfway around the leg. Supia has promised to send a new right leg piece, and I'm looking forward to that. He is such a gorgeous doll -- I can hardly wait to have him all put together!
Glad to hear he finally arrived I had a similar problem with the leg piece on my Jacob. They sent out a new set of lower legs, left and right. I popped it on and have had no problems since. He is such a beautiful sculpt!!! I'll love to see what he looks like once you have him all together
@Cynthia in FlintHills congrats on arrival of your boy. Haven't been here for a while. Here's how my Supia boy looks now:
He is a Kylo Ren cosplay doll, one of my two Kylo Ren bjds >_< This one is rather Kylo Ren as a disney prince, and he wears posh clothing (even though he's half undressed and all messed up mostly).
I've been searching for dolls similar to Iplehouse's dolls. I'm working on building my Iplehouse family, but I'd love to have other dolls that are similar, from other companies as well. My search led me to the Supia dolls. And I'm in awe over how beautiful these dolls are! Currently I'm waiting for an IH boy Rania who will later get a slimmer hybrid body. But I'm so in love with the Giyom face sculpt that I think that I'll have to get him oneday! I got the idea of making my Rania and Giyom fashion model brothers or something. I've been getting so many new BJD ideas after I came to the Supia threads. I've already asked about the girl's head measurements, but I'm curious what the boy's head measurements are?
Thank you I got his shirt from an Etsy seller called cottonhoney. I love this seller because thier clothes are well made, inexpensive and are a good fit.
Wow, this looks like a painting! How did you do this? Is it a photo that's been photoshopped? He looks amazing!
Aww thank you! Kylo looks sort of fancy on this photography. Haha yea this is a shot that's been photoshopped, and also lightroom'd to some degree. I didn't add anything to this photo as in painting though, but rather created dramatic colors and lighting.
@noirobscur Your Kylo Ren is gorgeous. I aspire someday to create stuff at such a high quality. He looks just like him too! Which sculpt is he? I've made a new wig for mine I believe since the last time I shared Aqqen, my Jacob here. He's with his bf Tahmos in this photo:
They look awesome together!! I like the similarities and differences between them and they compliment each other perfectly
Thank you! Kylo is my favorite... mess of a character... I guess? It's good to have his smol copies. The sculpt of this doll is Supiadoll's Giyom.
My Jacob arrived and he's perfect! They sent a white long sleeved t-shirt and a watch with him, which was nice~
Oooooooh, I love seeing Jacob in NS! Very sharp styling there, too. My good news is that, after originally promising to ship it a month ago, Supia says they'll ship my tan Jacob's replacement leg part this Thursday. Here's hoping . . . I would really like to play with him, !@#&$^@H!*
Thank you! He ended up a little more goth than I'd intended but I sort of dig it, haha. I hope you get your boy all in one piece, er... all in whole pieces... soon!
Hooray--my Jacob's replacement leg part arrived today! Of course, it's finals week and I won't have any time to swap out the new part for the broken one until after final grades are in, but it's wonderful to have the waiting over and done with!
Yay!!! I'm very happy for you. My Jacob's replacement leg is still working great and no issues. I can't wait to see yours
