@KimC what a great-looking couple! I like the red wig on him. It seems to suit his coloring.

 

Thanks Alewife, I think so too. He has some beautiful brown eyes that compliment his red hair but they are really hard to photograph. Maybe I'll try a closeup when I get a chance. Otherwise I'm very glad they go together so well. He is a little floppy at the hips but glue sueding should do the trick. Otherwise he does pose really well and did stand out of the box.

 

Red hair and brown eyes is one of my favorite combinations.

Thanks Alewife Yup, he is a handful tho'and I'm trying to get used to his facial features to get the best shots. He photographs a bit different than Maia. I'll work on it more after work tonight. I have a few more wigs to try on him and see how his character changes.

Thank you for your kind words Yeah, I think the black wig makes his face more defined than the red wig that made his features a bit softer. At least that's how I see it. I'm holding off on buying him more clothes, wigs, shoes etc until I can see if I'll make it to the Austin BJD Convention this summer. Right now he's stealing his girl Maia's wigs, lol!!

 

I always like wigs that go with the eyebrows, so the dark wig is my favorite. It's nice of his girl to share her wigs!

 

Me too, it looks more natural. ...and Maia agrees.

 

So far he looks great in everything, but I think I agree that the black wig suits him best! It brings out his puppy brown eyes aww.

 

Yeah, it was really hard to pick up those pretty brown eyes at a distance. But they look so darn good on him, lol!!

Hi kaoru0420!!! Welcome to the thread!! Awe, thank you so much I purchased him on February 23rd and he was delivered on May 15th. So about 2 1/2 months. Which I think is actually pretty good. I was very happy with there customer service too. I hope you decide to get a Supia doll I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Awe, so sorry. Hehehe!! I just can't get enough of these two. I finally found a pair of eyes I really like on Zenka so that's a done deal.

 

Are those the eyes you have in now? I like them!

 

Yup. I love the color and realism and they are a soft silicone eye which I like since they "mold" into the eyewell. I belive they are a 12mm in case anyones interested although I'm not sure where they came from. I'll see if I can locate purchase info for them

Congratulations orangetarts, it's really nice to see another order for a boy sculpt I got my Zenka (Jacob) about a month ago now and he's everything I could have wanted and more. It took about 2 1/2 months to get him so it shouldn't be that much longer of a wait.for you. Zion is a beautiful sculpt too, I love his exotic look. Please post pictures when you can

That's great to hear orangetarts sounds like their really on the ball getting your boy done so soon. Maybe because you didn't get a face up. It usually takes a bit longer with a face up. Congratulations and I hope he gets to you very soon

Hello Argenta, from what I cold find out the Supia boys neck circumference is 11cm and the Iplehouse Sid boys neck is 12cm so I would think that with a little modding of the neck hole to make it a bit larger, that the Supia boys head should fit. That is just my theory and you may want to get more input from others as I have not tried it in person. Good luck

 

It's been about a month since I paid off my Jacob and I'm so hoping he's done soon

 

Hi hollowbackgirl Congrats on your Jacob order he's an amazing sculpt. It took about 2 1/2 months for my Jacob to arrive. I hope you get your Jacob soon and take lots of pictures. There's not many Jacobs out and about.

Yes he is I love his posability too. Are you getting him with a faceup? If not you may get him a few weeks sooner since faceups take longer. I think all the boys aren't as popular as the girls anyway but I fell hard for Jacob and I am not at all dissapointed.

 

No I'll be getting him blank but in tan so I feel like the wait'll be a bit extended for the skin color. I'm so happy to hear that, I don't have any experience with Supia so Im really excited to see him!

 

Hello! I have a Supia Joshua hybrid. I've had him for several years now, but I never really posted him. I will be changing his character design drastically so he won't be as dark and mean looking in the future though.

 

@superXasian he's gorgeous. What is your new plan for him?

 

Oooo, I really love his look, tho' I'm sure I'll love his new look too.

 

I actually wanted to dye him or airbrush him to have a faint tan! His hair will be blonde as well (his characters natural color,) and I'll finally get around to adding all of his tattoos!

 

Does anyone have bald pics of Jacob? He's on my wishlist and I'd love to see more pics of him! This thread has helped a lot. (:

@KimC Sure! Supiadoll probably makes my fave male and female sculpts. (Hael is adorable!)

 

I totally agree Hael is a beautiful sculpt and I like Lina too and Minisup Haru. I'm hoping Supia doll might consider doing another boy doll with elf ears also, but I guess only time will tell

 

Oh wow, I never realized that Jacob has elf ears! He's so cute.

 

Jacob has two pairs of ears, regular and elf!

 

I like those changeable ears that Supia does.

 

Me too, much more versatility for characters. The only problem I've found is the magnets aren't as strong as I'd like and I have to glue them on.

 

Thought I'd throw in a pic of Zenka (Jacob) helping me out at work selling Native American jewelry. He's such an adorable salesman and he works for free, lol!!

 

He probably sells a lot! Who could resist that face?

Got a great straight black wig at BJDC in Austin, Texas that I think looks fantastic on Zenka.

Hey guys! I'm stepping out of lurker mood temporarily to ask if anyone here knows if it would be possible to hybrid a Supia boy and a Dollshe 18M Pure body? I have wanted a Jacob since he was released and was thinking that it would be great if he could share a body with my Dollshe Aramis, because then I would only need to get the head. Have anyone tried this combination or have any info about it? I would really appreciate it
