I knooowwwww I got my fabric 80% complete.. life just got toooo busy and I had to give up on it. Really wish I hadn't.

Ah well.. next time, right? It was still fun to choose a favorite from these awesome designs!

Congratulations Apple-pai! I definitely hope all the contestants will be linking to their spoonflowers (haha, that sounds so weird), especially #2, I can't remember if I voted for you in the end (it was so tough!) but I love your idea and would definitely consider buying a yard of your fabric.

Thanks mods and spoonflower for hosting this contest. I really enjoyed doing this contast. It was almost 2 years ago when I last worked in illustrator. But now I know spoonflower, I have so many plans to make fabric's for my dolls and myself.
For people who want to keep a eye out for my design I hope to buy a yard myself next month to aporrove it.

Undermost salamander, Yesssss I agree! I hope everyone will be linking their spoonflower! It would be great to see spoonflower utilised for small sized patterns for dolls!!! VERY excited!

Brigitte, Yours is really cool too, i love the idea of actually making it a doll dress pattern! I would make it so much easier to make the clothes. And it is very interesting to design fabric isnt it?? When you look at it, the patterns looks so tiny on the yard of fabric... but they are actually quite large, I feel that mine would be suitable for an SD or possibly YoSD.
I am looking forward to buying some fabric from Spoonflower to check out how the design works out!

appel-pai thanks. Yes I always wanted fabrik that just fall perfect when you cut it. Like it was made for that pattern. And designing them is indeed cool. These patterns that I made are yosd sized and based on two of my yosd chars. 3 of the six designs on my fabrik are with sillouts of those 2 dolls. I already have a document of things I want to design for my dolls and myself as soon as I find time to make it. If my wallet allows me I will be spendig a lot of money on designs I make to print on spoonflower.

I wanted to make mine suitable for different sized dolls, thats why they are large panels of pattern. I am not very good at pattern making either so i didnt want to risk putting a pattern on there, in case it turned out bad. But it what you did does make it a lot easier!
Once i have more time, I would definately like to make more doll sized prints to make doll size clothes.
I'm not so good with proportions, i actually used a ruler to measure the size of the stripes... hoping that it'll be suitable.

Seraphglow, I'm waiting for my fabric to come!!! We'll have to see how it will turn out!
