Souldoll Zenith Girls Discussion

I like the new dolls they are loverly Especially Key and Yurr- i love their open and closed eye versions/ i hope Souldoll releases them again as a whole doll or to purchase separetly after the event. Does anybody know if these event doll will be available through Denver Doll Emporium?

 

I looked on the Denver Doll website but didn't see them there. Maybe when they're available for sale, the website may change.

I must add that I adore these new dolls, even the guys, and I don't own any male BJDs.

 

You might want to ask. Since there is an event attached to it.
Last year Soul Doll had a similar Winter event and their event dolls were not sold at DDE.

 

Delmia is absolutely stunning, I'm so so glad she's not limited!! She's perfect for the Duchess character I'm writing about for NaNoWriMo ^^

Same. She has... unfortunate eyebrows, in my opinion. I have a feeling we will have a long wait for those pics, though, since they were just released today.

 

Those eyebrows are strange aren't they. I want to just rub of a layer of make-up and see what happens. I think she could be really lovely tho.

 

I really like her face sculpt from what I can see of it. (And I love the crazy dancer outfit to bits!) It's just those eyebrows are throwing me. I like most of the dancer faceup save for the forehead pinkness, which makes her look a bit like someone very drunk outside for a walk in the winter air, unfortunately, and the faceup brow shape really cements that impression of, "Huh? Did I just bump into you? Sorry, Mr. Lamp-post... "

 

Does anyone know what clothes and shoes fit the Zenith girls? I want Delmia really bad, but I'm wondering how easy it's going to be to clothe her...

 

Some of the outfits for the Super Gem girls work for them, and so do some of the Spirit Doll outfits. Shoes---some of the Dollmore model girl will fit, but your best be is order shoes from SD when you get her.

 

I just got my Zenith body the other week, measured her up and compared her to the other doll measurements I have. She's the same in bust/waist/hips as SD16, so they're going to be your best bet. Super Gem and Model doll clothes do fit her, but they're slightly larger in the back. I'd go for stretchy items of theirs because they'll cling better, or flowy designs that you don't mind hang a bit loose. I'm planning on making all my girl's clothes so I can't help you much more than having tried what I've got around the house.

Shoe wise the heeled feet fit into a lot more than the flat feet. The flat feet I've fit into SD boys shoes so far - some from leeke, and Luts Senior Delf boy shoes. I haven't tried flat Model Doll girl shoes but they have the same sized feet so you should be in luck.
The heeled feet fit Luts SDF boy heeled boots, Model Doll girl boots and EID girl boots also fit well. Hope that helped!

 

So, if I wanted to commission an outfit for the Zenith girl size, SD16 would be the size? It's a corset outfit so I was informed the measurements have to be close to exact.

 

What measurements do you need? I have a pretty extensive list of them, so I should have the ones you need.

 

Well, she doesn't own a Zenith person, but has Soom and SD16. Because the corset is fitted, the torso measurements between Zenith and SD16 have to be very close or it won't fit my Madalyn correctly.

 

Ah I see. Well they're much closer in fit to SD16 than Super Gem, the only difference is that their bust is 1cm smaller than SD16. The waist and hips are the same, and the torso length is the same.

Can someone show me a naked Zenith girl between a naked SD16 and a Super Gem? I really want to see their different shape!
And plz tell me their difference in move- and poseability.

 

I can't do an SD16, but I can do with a Super Gem. Zenith girls pose ten times better than Super Gems, Soom didn't engineer them very well.

I've got a Souldoll Delmia head, but no body. I tried buying her an Angelsdoll body but the proportions were wrong, sadly. It was the 62cm body which has very broad shoulders.

I've not been having much luck finding a Zenith girl body second-hand. Does anyone have any suggestions as to alternative bodies? Or do you know whether Souldoll ever sells the bodies separately?

 

I belive they do, in fact, sell body parts. But from what I saw in their site, they only have in stock the soul-double (boy and female) and the soul-kid body (boy). But I could swear I saw a zenith body lurking somewhere Maybe you could write to them and ask if it is or will be available as a buying option?

For an alternate body, I heard that some owner have taken Hewer's head (a zenith boy)to put it a soul-double body and that it fits perfectly. I'm not sure if it would work in this case, but we can always try. If not, I guess you would have to search for compagny to match the skin tone.

 

Why don't take a Super Gem's body if they are that close?

Elbenlady-Elanor, you may be right about the Super Gem body. I'm not sure what the resin match is like, though.

 

I think Soom NS is much darker (I own an Osu and many Soom dolls). But it might be much easier to match up the head or at least the face paint to the body color than reverse.

The heeled feet fit into a wider range of shoes than the flat feet. Heeled feet fit into EID girl heels, Model Doll girl heels,and Luts SDF boy heels. The flat feet fit into SDF boy flat shoes.

My new Rossi Dancer arrived and I've been messin' with her

Think I'm loving the wild brunette look -- reminds me of Old Hollywood Glam

She has the default Dancer version face-up -- I thought I'd give her a last chance when they discontinued her ... No regrets! ^^

I was very pleasantly surprised when she arrived and I started playing with eyes & wigs -- I know a lot of people didn't care for the Dancer version default (it was the eyebrows ^^ ) but I think that's where she gets a lot of her 'sultriness' and Old Hollywood Glam from -- a totally different look and feel from my other girls

I kept coming back to her over the months but had other priorities -- but knew I had to 'do it' and buy her when Souldoll announced they were discontinuing -- definitely No Regrets

 

Just popping in here to share the good news Souldoll just posted all their bodies for sale a-la-carte! So now it's possible to get either Zenith body (General or Double Jointed) for any floating heads we may have.

Anyone else planning any Zenith girl purchases? I am still waiting for the gray skin to become available again before I order my Shiva

So after all these times, I finally have my own Zenith girl! Meet Chaya!
I ordered her blank originally but Souldoll accidentally gave her a faceup. .... it is very pretty. However just now what I needed so I have changed it since then.

But man these girls have tiny heads! I got her a wigcap in Lut's 8-9 size, and got her some 8-9 wigs. They are all too big! The wigcap is too big! .-. Has anyone have any luck with wigs that fit better?

 

Congrats Navci! Your girl is GORGEOUS! Is that a Shiva-G? Or a Chantal? They have such a different look depending on the faceup, it's incredible.

As for the wig size, I find my Zenith girl (Agnetha) fits standard MSD wigs (7/8") perfectly Hope this helps!

Really?! Even the 7/8 doesnt fit? Is the 7/8 too big or too small? I got 7/8 Monique Gold wig ("Navajo" style) for my girl and it fit perfect--though very tight. Here's a picture of her in her wig--sorry it's a bit dark >.<

 

Navci, your girl is so beautiful! I find Leira wears 7-8 MSD (eg. Leeke World) wigs as well, but I do have to really pull them on. But once there on her they stay on really well. 8-9 is always way too big.

And Anneke, I love your Agnatha! I have always loved her looks, and yours is really unique.

 

Hah! Maybe I'll need to try a few of the 7-8s I have and see if anything fits better.
The 7-8 I tried on was too small. Maybe it wasn't stretchy enough or something? >.>

Good idea about the database! I think they need more love too. Souldoll is just so PAINFULLY slow with everything. I've been waiting half a year for them to bring back grey skin resin so I can finally get my 4-arm Shiva ordered.

 

Database is a great idea, these girls don't get enough love.

I was actually wondering when Shiva was going to be offered in grey again, that's the only color I would consider her in. I think her blushing in the grey skin looks so luscious. She's been on my wishlist for a long time.
