Resin Comparison Souldoll Sandy Brown resin match? Any?

The simplest solution (depending on the head and neck size) would be getting it custom color matched at Resinsoul, as they will do that with any company and have mature 1/4 scale bodies (the Rong body, they also released a somewhat new 1/4 girl body). But when looking at different resin comparisons, you can kind of do a game of telephone with it. Starting with this resin comparison, you can see that it is a very specific shade in terms of trying to match.This is another comparison, with a TON of tan resin dolls, and this picture shows that it is pale enough that it seems to learn towards a lot of companies "normal" resin color, but is slightly dark enough to not match in full (as you can see in this comparison). There really doesn't seem to be a super clear match, as this resin seems like completely different tones in different lighting (for example, I had hoped that Luts Real Skin Brown would be close because of this picture, but there's a direct comparison here, which shows that Luts' resin color is MUCH darker), and then when it is by "normal" resin tones, it looks so much darker. I apologize for not having a more helpful answer than a few comparison shots but maybe it will lead you to a resin color from a company that has more comparisons than this one, and be able to find a body from there! It unfortunately doesn't seem like there are many (or any that I was able to find) Souldoll Sandy Brown hybrid doll owners that had posted pictures with them, which makes it tough!

 

Oh boy, I don't have any photos, but I do have a Sandy Brown gal...and it is rather rare when I find a doll that seems close to her coloring. I can say that Soom Tawny/Bronze (I have seen both of these dolls, but they were from the 2015-2020 timeline; I don't know if the colors have changed) seem to be the closest ballpark I have seen, but they are not a match. Bronze is a more noticeable difference compared to Tawny, but they both are visibly different than Sandy Brown in most lighting.

I know it isn't much help, but I did notice those two tones were closer to Souldoll's Sandy Brown than quite a few others. Dollzone's (prior to 2020) Tan is definitely not a match, and Luts (pre 2022) didn't really have a tan close last time I got to compare.

Gonna ff on this thread because I also own a Sandy Brown Souldoll Federer and I really really dont like the Zenith body. I might also hunt for a body for him after I get Chiron one.
The resin color baffles me as it's not really "tan" but not light either

Hi! I have a lot of Soul Doll hybrids. I have found that the Soom Light Tan that a lot of Chinese makers offer for their bodies is pretty good. Also, yes, I agree that Luts Bronco and Withdoll Real Skin are ok. Soul Doll Sandy Brown can vary between batches though. Some of my hybrids match better than others, but all of them are within blushing range.

I can also take pictures of a Sandy Brown head on a Coralreef Whale Island 1/4 Boy Body and/or an Asleep Eidolon body in Soom Light tan if you want to see either of those. For the Coral Reef body, I see that Alice Collection now offers the body in Soom Light Tan (Reddish) and Soom Light Tan (Yellowish) which wasn't an option when I ordered, so I don't know which is better.

I can also say that Raccoon Doll Sweet Mocha does NOT match. It's a beautiful color, but not close enough for hybrids in my opinion.
