40–49cm Dolls Souldoll Angel Persephone/Junia Animal Box Opening

After a roughly six-month wait, my lovely girl is finally here! I jumped in on Souldoll's latest Angel Persephone preorder because I saw that they were offering a gift head with each doll, and Junia Animal Ver. was one of the available options. Junia animal has been a grail of mine since I started in the hobby and I'm so happy that I finally had the chance to add her to my collection! As much as I was tempted by the P. lavender blue resin, I ended up choosing NS for my doll because I wanted more of a natural skintone for my Junia.

She came in a special (very pretty) box that was also HUGE! I don't know if Souldoll's boxes are always this big but this is by far the biggest MSD-sized doll box I've ever received.





Freed from the box, she is very well-protected:

With all of the padding off, I was able to see the lovely Angel Persephone head. It's a beautiful sculpt, but not the main reason I purchased this doll.



She is!



And she's everything I could have hoped for. I was a little bit glad that I was the only one at home while I opened her because of how much I was squealing! I quickly swapped their heads:



There she is. Wow.



In my excitement over the doll I overlooked the other items in the box. Souldoll sent along a few gifts as an apology for the long wait:



Inside was a wig, a necklace, and an extra pair of hands. The wig is cute but not exactly what I'm going for for this doll:

I'm so so so beyond happy with this doll. The wait was definitely long, but in the end it was totally worth it to me to have this lovely doll.
