Yeah, it's kinda sad, but since I've worked on fixing it, it's a lot better, haha. And thank you so much! I couldn't resist the clear horns, they're gorgeous. He looks great with red horns, the horns he came with(with the gold glossy finish), black horns and these!

 

Hey everyone. I'm just popping in to see if there is anyone here who ordered an x-mas kit and is still waiting on their's. I will admit my final layaway payment was a little late, but I'm still waiting on my blank WS Heliot. For those that ordered x-mas kits, or ordered a SD blank with no other options, what was your wait time after you finished your layaway? Thanks!

My Baby Isha shipped 5 days ago and I somehow missed the email, so I just found out today. USPS says it should be in tomorrow.

 

Thanks for the info guys. I was asking because I'm leaving town from the 24th to the 28th, and I was hoping he would ship before I left. But as long as he doesn't arrive while I'm gone, it shouldn't be a problem.

The order was made in layaway.
But I closed my layaway earlier for 20 days.
My Heliot is'n sent yet.

I just received the tracking number for my Zak this morning! He took 2 months to come after my last layaway payment in end Mar, I thought he's only coming home late Jun or Jul. I'm so excited right now but please don't come when I'm not at home

I ordered Soom Happy/ Lucky last weekend. I just fell in love with the winky face and v hands. Anyone else order one? I thought about getting Cheshire but I want a different color and all the kitty parts. So I decided to wait.

 

Question, thinking about doing layaway but was wondering about how long is waiting?

 

It kind of depends. Soom is some times a little all over the place when it comes to shipping out orders, but typically the wait is about 3 months, to sometimes 4, after your order has been fully paid for. For example, I JUST got my X-Mas kit Heliot yesterday, the order having been placed in January, the layaway having been paid off at the end of April. This was a completely blank doll, nothing else in the order.

That is all over the place. Two years ago I ordered a SO yosd on layaway and did layaway for 3 months and then they shipped her within two weeks after the final payment, so they had already made her I guess. I was hoping for the same for the Cheshire I ordered

 

I have had orders in the past that were like that. Within two to three weeks after paying off a layaway, I had orders ship out, making me think my order had already been made before I finished. I think they've been a bit back logged. Maybe that's why orders are taking loner than they use to?

 

I ordered option parts (heel feet) Does anyone know if that's going to get the same ammount of time a full doll takes :'D

I've never gotten a Soom before, though I've always had my eyes on one. I just thought it'd have more animal parts lol.

Hello everyone, I'm joining the waiting room. I ordered a Petit gem Minel a few days ago, can't wait for it (her?) to get home
Does anyone here know what kind of waiting time I can expect? I ordered without faceup/blushing/outfit, just the doll.

 

For those asking about wait times, to be honest, I had felt like Soom was a little behind maybe? I had ordered a completely blank X-Mas kit Lordstar Heliot. He had no other options and nothing else in his order. I did a four month layaway, and received him July 9th. So it was a three month waiting time after my four month layaway.

Then again, I saw some orders going out super fast, some blank and some with face up/blushing options. So maybe my order was just super delayed for some reason? Then again, Soom has always been notorious for having very sporadic shipments. I've been in many Soom waiting rooms, and I've seen things that don't make sense, lol. Like layaway orders with all the bells and whistles going out before paid in full orders with very few options. Sometimes there is no explanation on how they decide to work on orders or send them out.

The best advice I can give is to pay your order off as soon as possible. The sooner it's paid for, the sooner they start their work on it, so less wait time. Though sometimes I feel like they start on some layaway orders before they're finished being paid off, cause I've seen layaway orders that are shipped out 2-3 weeks after being paid off, but this isn't a common occurrence.

 

I'm excited about my layaway! i plan to try to pay it off before the end of oct but i wanted to do it just encase something happened.

 

So guess I am joining the wait. Finally I will have my fantasy Breccia.

I ordered a cream blank Leepy. Somehow SOOM learned of my wish to have a cream colored Leepy with open eyes. So happy!

 

Sorry guys i've been busy due to holiday~ I dont my lil dollie and well havent had time to even take photos of the poor dear.
I am only waiting on 1 more doll but that isn't a soom doll.

Does anyone know what current wait times are? My split partner and I paid off our doll in late December...

 

If you paid off in December, your doll should be shipped in March. =)

 

Ah! Thank you! That gives me a good reference for when to expect it. ofc i gotta wait for it to get to the first destination and THEN to me... sigh.

 

Soom is pretty consistent with their delivery schedule, provided the producing process is smooth. In my experiences with them so far, they really did keep it within the 100 days after full payment. Usually faster. =)

 

Yeah, it’s been around 2 months to wait. Of course my last doll was back in the beginning of last year, but I did get some hooves that took about 2 months, too. That’s their normal now.

 

Hi everyone! I'm waiting on not only a Turb/Roxen in Twany (for a friend), but I'm also waiting on one of the really limited fullset Turb/Roxen in the lovely Viola Purple Skin! I can't believe I was able to snag one. When I first saw the teaser posted for it, I realized it would be a nearly perfect match for a character I made years ago. So I can't wait to get her home.

 

I am so excited! My R.Hyperon shipped and I only paid him off from a layaway at the beginning of this month! I am so happy to expect his arrival!

 

I gave in and ordered one of the Turb/Roxen in normal tone! My weakness is elf ears and fangs, so having both in one doll is a critical hit to my wallet, haha! Can't wait to get mine!

 

My Leepy was mailed on Monday, and arrived today, Friday! That was super fast! Very happy as I now have a cute little bunny for my collection.

 

Just ordered a Super Gem Female body for my girl Nephelin. Now I just need to wait for 2 months !!!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I had ordered a Little Gem Komat and Ior (I ordered the girl fullset with second romantic head and factory faceups on both heads) back in the middle of December. I received her a week ago! The shipping notice popped up in my email, and a week later was delivered to my doorstep. So hopefully those who ordered back in December, same time as I did....your dolls should be coming...

 

Hello, everyone! I plan on putting Ender on layaway in a few days. Does Soom ever close order periods before the listed end of the order period? This is my first time buying from Soom and I was just curious as I did not want to miss out on him. Thanks for any help in advance! I also apologize if this has been asked before.

 

As far as I can recall, they have not. They are good to keep to the time periods they list. But keep in mind that their time zone is ahead of most of ours. So if you plan to buy at the last minute, keep in mind that they're almost a day ahead, so be sure to buy at least two days ahead of the end date, just to be sure.

 

@ShinigamiDuoLover Thanks for letting me know! It's a good thing to hear. I was planning on ordering him tomorrow or the day after, so the time difference shouldn't be an issue. I just wanted to check just in case something should come up before then.

I forgot to mention that last Friday I paid off my Turb/Roxen order! I am one step closer to bringing my lovely fullset Turb/Roxen home!

@Maechen I honestly could have probably done two quick, if not full payment when I placed the order, but I got less back on my tax return than I thought I was going to. But I still paid my order off quickly, and I'm going to have to probably still wait a bit no matter what. Even if my fullset was already complete, my friend's Turb/Roxen in the order has face up on both heads and body blushing, so her doll will take a bit. I give keep giving her a hard time that her doll is holding mine up, lol.

 

@ShinigamiDuoLover Haha, that's true! A face-up and body blushing could definitely hold up an order with multiple dolls. I hope your wait is not too long!
I thought I would have to squeeze Ender into my budget when he went up for orders, but it looks like I'll have enough doll money to pay him off a month early.

Ironically I wish he'd ship later to be closer to my birthday, but he'll probably be here in June
