I hope I can help! If you have an order number, you don't need to log in to see the status of your order. If you click on order status, without logging in, it give you the option to either log in, or below that you can enter your order number (order sheet number) and a password. It will require a password, and I'm not sure what it might be if you didn't make an order password when you ordered the doll, but this is the only way you can view your order status when you order without making an account.

Thank you Dragonofl5, I did try that, but because I didn't have a password, it didn't work. Does anyone know how I can reach them? I tried under the question section, but it says: scraps ???? I put a note there, despite not knowing what it means, and have not received a reply or anything.

 

You'll have to ask them on their Q&A section then. They might be able to add the order to your profile. If not, they can at least tell you the password probably.

 

I tried the Q&A section, it's where I got the scraps button, but no one has replied. I found them on Facebook and sent them a message there, hopefully I'll get a response, thank you for your suggestions.

Soom told me that my Koori/Yuki X-mas Kit should ship at the end of February, so I imagine the FCE dolls will ship right after.

I asked soom about my Christmas Freechoice teenie gem and they said he'll ship the last week of March, so hopefully the other people still waiting are the same.

 

I'm having the same problem. I don't remember if I even made a password during the ordering process. I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait until Rudy arrives if she does at all ^^;;

 

If you didn't make a password when you bought Rudy then that is the problem. You can go on the Q&A forum (One of the options on the lower left. You'll have to register 1st in order to do this) and post a request for status with your order number, that's how I've been getting my updates. I ordered my Rudy the first day he was offered and they told me that he's going to be coming to me some time at the end of this month. It was a little scary at first. I didn't know what I was doing wrong. But Registering and then posting my question in Q&A helped. It took like a whole day to get a response the few times I've asked for an update. I just assumed that they're on a different time zone then we are.

Congratulations BTW!!!! Another Rudy owner, that's awesome! What color did you get? Did you get it with a face up? Do you have any plans for it? I got mine tan color with no face up. I'm going to paint him myself. Mine will be a boy. I already have an outfit for him, a soom yo sized event outfit. I hope it fits!

 

I got Rudy in dark brown with no face up and purchased the clothes as well. It was too adorable to pass up also I don't have any clothing of that size so it's a win win situation! I loved the little leggings. I will probably do the face up myself as well though she will be a girl. I can't wait for everyone to receive their Rudy so we can all post photos haha!

 

I was curious and counted up the days since I placed my order (ID51 Gluino Xmas kit) and it's been 58 business days. It seems like sooooo much longer *sigh*. I'd hoped that since I'd ordered a kit I'd get him faster since there was less for them to do. Waiting is such torture.

 

I think Soom is a little behind their production...They released many dolls in the past few months. I'm still waiting for my York which was supposed to ship this month (ordered him in Dec), but Soom confirmed York will only ship in April. Since Gluino came out after York, I think your wait will be even longer...Do ask them if you want to know for sure.

 

I messaged them to ask if they could hold my shipment in case it's ready in early may because I will be out of the country. I ordered a Garion Dokkebi on Jan13 and they said he wouldn't be ready by May 15 anyways and that's quite close to the 90 day estimate.

I need to know this as well...I had my Zak ordered in Feb, he should be ready in May or June and I may not be around for the whole June to receive him =(

I think it's pretty acceptable to wait max 4 months, at least for me...Though normally I'm not a very patient person, especially when it comes to waitingggg T_T

 

@Elvenrose I can deal with known terms... When I placed my order they said "3 month", now it is significant longer. Soom becomes Dollshe? After 6 month of waiting I probably won't need the doll. At least my previous long-waiting-experience was like that

 

My order was Jan. 2 so it'll probably be May then before he's pushed out the door given what you guys have said. *sigh*. I may message them to pin down an actual timeframe. I was hoping to have have him home and his face-up done in time for AnimeNorth in late May but that's not sounding doeable (I'd be sending him out for a face-up) if they're behind schedule.

My wait likely feels even more painful as I'm also waiting on another doll (not from Soom) and I've been waiting for him even longer *sigh*.

 

@Rook_Sever I totally agree with you...they always say that before the order came in, but in reality these doll companies rarely made it right on time as promised...I'm getting used to it, so I added an extra 1 month from their terms. *sighs* only when they missed my extra time that I grew really anxious...and don't forget the transit time of 2-3 weeks for the doll to arrive on my door on top of that extra time *cries*

Yeah I mean, I just asked them and they put a "do not ship until" notice on mine. Garion was the order period right before Zak and If he isn't going to be ready in the beginning of may, I'm assuming that means June might be more likely for him... so maybe Zak will be after that? I dunno. I would just ask them, they're super nice

 

I've found that once the doll is shipped, the wait time for that is generally only a week. If it turns longer, it's usually the fault of the evil Canada Customs holding my doll for ransom.

They did have a lot going on in the Dec/Jan time period with new releases and the Xmas kits and the post-MD sale so I'm willing to cut them a little slack with regards to getting orders filled as they're probably swamped. That's not going to stop me from checking almost everyday to see if my order status has changed from preparing to shipping *laughs*.

 

yes, same here...the dreaded custom T_T and they will hold it for as long as a week there. But 1 thing I learned that works like a charm is to track the shipping (I checked everyday), and as soon as it hit the custom, I called the custom office and arranged for the package to be picked up and paid whatever custom there. I also find they actually ask for less if I came to get it instead of waiting around for their notice letter to pay the ransom. My last doll's ransom was less than $30 plus I didn't need to wait extra week for my doll. It's a win-win for me. ^o^

 

Huh. I didn't even know Customs would allow you to do that. Unfortunately for me, a doll entering Customs is either in Vancouver (across the country from where I live) or Montreal (the next province over) depending on where the package is coming from. I also firmly believe that I'm on some kind of list with Customs as easily 1/2 the time I get packages, I get nailed for fees *grumbles*.

 

Oh dear, I am quite a persistent one when it comes to getting what I want lol...First I would ask the post office, then they would tell me it was still held by custom. They would of course tell me to wait it out, I simply said no, if they can't be of any help, then the least they can do is to direct me to the custom. And they did...In my city, there is only one custom which is at the airport, that's the one I always visited to get my stuffs. Right now I do keep a person in charge's contact number at the main post office whom I terrorize whenever I am expecting a doll...lol

 

Just got my shipping notification for my Feny-headed centaur! That took about 3 months then, so still under the '100 day guarantee'. I'm so excited to see him, this next wait for him to arrive already feels longer. Fukuoka is SO close to Korea though so hopefully I'm not waiting too long.

 

Today is day 65 (that would be business days) since I placed my order back on Jan.2nd. My deadline for the 100 day guarantee (again, assuming only business days) will be May 19th. I hope it's sooner though as I'd dearly love to have my guy to bring with me to DollNorth, which happens right around then.

 

@Iron_Dog I remember Soom stating with the 100 day guarantee that it was inclusive of weekends and holidays, so if I'm remembering that right, you should get your order in plenty of time for DollNorth.

I've got my 100 days marked as May 13, and I'm fairly sure I paid off last month, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for yours to ship soon.

 

Really? I must've missed that. In that case, April 11 is the 100 day mark. Whoot! Now I'm going to be stalking the site to see the second that my status changes from preparing to shipped.

 

I think they changed that to 100 work days when they changed their layaway policy, actually? :O

 

I'd assumed that it was business days just because most places, when they have a deadline of days, it usually only includes days when they're actually working.

 

It's 100 days regardless of business/weekend, but if you do a layaway, the 100 days does not start until you make your final payment.

 

I paid in full so that's excellent news to me!

I asked for my York, and they initially said he was going to be ready at the end of april, but now it will be the end of may :'DDD

I asked for the status on my Garion (Ordered Jan 12) and they said he would have been ready April 22 but since I ordered extra hands he would be ready June 8. I just told them to cancel the hands and send him out when he's ready because I didn't want to wait an extra month and a half for him. So hopefully they can do this xD

I just got my Rudy the white forest in! He's so precious. I have to do a faceup on him yet, but as soon as I do I'll post pics.

 

Rhas-Khan (ID51 Gluino in grey w/romantic head) is home! He's just gorgeous. Stringing him was easier than I anticipated. However, his brain didn't want to fit into his head (insert whatever joke you want here). I needed to shave down the sides of the interior of his headback with an exacto knife in order to get the brain in. A minor thing, but annoying. He needs a face up (and to tone down the RAWR! teeth) but I'm really happy with him. Since he was an Xmas kit, he didn't come with a Soom box, but fortunately he fits perfectly in the Miro box I have. He's borrowing Kijika's clothes right now and the shirt fits surprisingly well considering Kijika is a 58cm dude. The pants are waaaaay too long, but they have elastic at the ankles so it's not crazy bad looking. He may very well be coming to work with me tomorrow.
