After a week and a half my Dias are finally in my town, attempted delivery while I was at work and my brothers didn't wake up so I'll be collecting the package on the way home tomorrow!

You think they will start shipping the bunnies soon? I really want to see owner pics of them. I really want my Honey to come home soon.

I had to pick Dia up at the post office and I totally forgot you got the second set of hands for free. I slightly regret not getting body blushing because of the blank hands and feet. But he is gorgeous! My mother had too much fun trying to help me dress him - he's the biggest doll I have ever owned!

 

I'm excited my dia arrived in the states yesterday but right now he is still stuck in customs in New York but I'm expecting him to arrive home hopefully Monday or Tuesday! Oh and will u be posting pics @jessholy of him I would love to see them!

 

Oh yes I'll post pictures! I need to find good lighting though - natural light shows off the true color of his skin and eyes but I need the weather to cooperate haha. I've also been struggling to keep his one eye in - I might have to put in more plasticine. I also have to figure out how to get his little circlet to stay on his head. It's tricky!

Sorry in advance for the long post... this is just a little rant about my order. My Lord Dia arrived today, and based on my emails with Soom last week asking about the status of my order, I had a feeling something would go wrong. I got in touch with Soom the middle of last week and asked them if they had an approximate shipping date for my order. I didn't mention anything about being the only one in the waiting room that hadn't gotten their doll. I just asked, "do you have an approximate shipping date for my order?" I got a response from them that was rude right off the bat. Basically it said I just paid off my order on May 3 so I shouldn't expect to see anything until July 3 but that's "NOT A PROMISE." (The capitals are theirs.) I'm willing to chalk it up to tone and content getting lost due to the language difference and the fact that it was an email. My return email to them said that I was disappointed in this timing since everyone in the web group I participated in already had their dolls including those that paid in full a couple of weeks after I did. They replied that they were sorry and they hoped for my kind understanding and my doll would be shipped on Monday the 23rd but that date could fluctuate "depending on the options" I ordered. This was on a Friday and I kept thinking how are they going to get a doll ready over the weekend ready to ship? What am I going to get? He ended up shipping Tuesday and when I opened the box I had a cream white head with a normal skin body. I ordered normal skin. I only ordered the elf head but I was given both sets of hands too so maybe the claw hands came with every order? If I had gotten a cream white body and a normal skin head I would just go ahead and blush the body to match and not say another word but now I've got to trade emails with them again. Anyway, I'll update this post with the box opening a little later. I'm hoping the pictures I upload clearly show the resin color difference so I can send them to Soom.

I think the vampire hands were included by default because I got them as well despite not ordering them. It seems a little odd to send hands that match a head with an order that doesn't have the matching head. I don't mind the extra set of hands but I don't really plan on using them...they could have saved the materials they used to make them for something else. I do hope they fix your order though. They could have just told you "we need a bit more time" instead of rushing to make sure you got yours sooner than later - I think their rushing is why you got two different colors!

I got my Honey Bunny from the post office yesterday. She is even cuter in person. I love her so much. I hope to take pics later today if any wants to see her

 

I heard from Soom today... the replacement head for my Lord Dia is finally shipping!! Soom customer was so easy to deal with and they paid to ship the head back. I was hoping they'd ship the new head as soon as it was ready but they wanted to receive the return before they sent anything out... which is understandable. I should have something next week. So excited! And I updated the list again because somehow my information dropped off.

 

This is unbelievable. For five years I've dreamed of owning Cass -- seen her appear in one Full Choice order, in one SO set, never had the funds...BUT THIS TIME. When I thought I'd never see her again other than on the MP (figuring, why would they release the Cass head again after already having her in one full choice order period?), and even then I'd prefer the new Extra Pose body which is BEAUTIFUL, so yeah, fat chance....she pops up! AND I AM NOT LETTING THIS OPPORTUNITY PASS ME BY AGAIN. I even took her off my elusive wishlist just expecting to never find her except by chance from some lovely seller on the marketplace!

*squee noises* Can't tell y'all how excited I am! PLUS I get the beautiful Odette nailed hands and heel legs to boot. Only downside is the new body won't accept old fantasy parts (per SOOM, if anyone was curious)...but somehow I'll get those Nephelin claws on her.

Am I really the first so far to tackle the SO event? This'll be a hard wait though, my past two ordered dolls have come in 2-ish months...I've been spoiled. ^_^

 

@RaineFournier I am seriously considering getting a Cinderella with an Epidia body. SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING. >_<;;

Brett is coming home! I haven't been so excited about getting a doll in a long time! He creeps me out, which is good! I just love the look of him, plus he'll fit right in with all my other dolls.

Well, it didn't take long, I'm back on the list, with Heliot! I just had to get him in grey skin and those horns!

My Ondiin arrived....unfortunately despite soom saying they changed the shipping address, they still went to my parents address, so it's going to be at least a week before I get them

 

My Ondiin arrived! today, even i wrote yesterday, but the post man 'should' bring her yesterday to my job address but went to my home address (my mum was out, so nobody was there), so, today. She's so cute! My first anthro, never saw an anthro i could like but Ondiin just got me x'D

Omg omg omg! My Ondiins just shipped! I'm so excited!!!!

 

Got my Hyperon today. All is fine, except that the head has a different color than the body. There is not much difference - the head is more a normal yellow, while the body etc. is the current peachy normal. I wish the whole doll would have the normal yellow skin! All in all not that much of a problem, but it matches what I heard of Soom's little problems in the last months.

Haha, I know. Some threads like to leave orders up even if it was cancelled, to see how many people were interested in a certain doll, etc... that's why I was leaving it up to you guys

 

I hope a question is appropriate here. I see a lot of you have ordered multiple dolls from Soom so maybe you can help me. I ordered my first doll from Soom, the Rudy deer, and I was so excited that I didn't create an account first. I ordered the doll, put in my info to order, got my confirmation via email, but now I can't log in to view my order status. I created an account after the fact, but of course it's not linked and I don't see a way for me to email the company my issue. Any suggestions? I mean they emailed me that the order was made, so I'm good I think, it just makes me nervous that I can't contact them or check my status.

 

Does anyone happen to know what this means on the Soom web site?
