SOOM the Gem Mirabil - Some Questions

Jan 24, 2022

    1. For more than 10 years now Soom Mirabil has been my grail doll.
She's been out of stock for ages, and I don't think they'll ever bring her back :arainclou:(

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, I'm very new to the community, and DoA in general.

I'm not able to access marketplace because I don't have 40 posts/comments yet. Any help would be super appreciated!

    2. You're not allowed to ask for sales outside of the marketplace, but once you get access you can put up a WTB. I'm not sure if asking for places to find dolls (such as Mandarake, ebay, etc) is allowed or not. To be honest, placing a WTB and having patience has been my only way of obtaining dolls that have been discontinued and aren't really visible for sale in most places. Its not impossible, but at the same time you could also look for dolls with a similar appearance that also hit the notes you adore about her. She gives me a sort of "luts" feeling, so you could try to see if there is a similar doll that fits your desire. I used to adore a doll that was hard to come by but I found a replacement that actually fit what I wanted better.

    3. I had no idea it wasn't allowed, thank you for telling me! I wonder now if i should take the post down.

I'll look at Luts dolls, thanks for the suggestion :fangirl:

    4. The rule doesn't say you're not allowed to ask where to buy items...not specifically. However, people cannot answer that they have items for sale or link to their own sales page. I think the most someone could answer is to tell you secondhand places where the doll could potentially pop up or to post your own WTB once you have access. I believe the post is fine to remain up, it isn't technically breaking any rule because you are not trying to get someone to sell it to you or asking for someone to hand you a listing of it being for sale.
