Luts Honey Delf clothing and shoes Fit soom dolls perfctly, in fact most of my clothes for my Yo-SDs are from luts as FL is far too tight on the soom dolls, thus thay can't share so much.

Hey all! I lurked in the last thread pretty hardcore, I love seeing all the Soom dolls.They're all so gorgeous, but I wasn't lucky enough to have one grab me by the shoulders and shake money from my stingy hands until Minette. So, I plan on getting her 'human' OE head, and I'd planned on putting her on a LTF body but I would really like to use Ai hooves on her and the ultra modding of either the legs or body scares me.
I was wondering what the Soom Teenie Gem bodies were like in terms of posability and finding clothing for?

 

I think the teenie gems pose quite nicely.

There are a few shots I took for a split partner of a new out of the box teenie body here (the one shot where I am supporting the body was just to show that the leg lock was strong enough to support the leg at that angle as its locks were a bit looser than my Beyla's body, but I found out that the Appini was normal and my Beyla is a fluke being as snug as her locks are).

The only thing I may recommend is if you plan on putting a bunch of magnets in the the head you may want to consider sueding the torso and neck. With all that extra weight in the head, a doll can get a bit floppy.

There are dollheart outfits for teenies? oAo Oh wow... I learn more today. Hehehehehe... I always thought that girl teenies are lucky, they have so many pretty outfits to choose from... While boy teenies have to be content with casual ones... (_ _)~ But dollheart is Love. ^^ I'd love it if they do have clothing lines for boy teenies!

Good morning. ^^ I stalked the first thread trough and just wanted to comment that everyone has such a great pictures of their little Soomians. My first post in this thread, I see there's some people here that I've already bumped into in other threads. ^^ Nice to meet you all! I have two Teeniegems at the moment but I'll have more later. I've both Ai's in bodies and next I'll have a Bygg (second hand). This is such a great size of dolls.

 

Well Drat. Good Job though! I really need to get my rear in gear and get my boys full outfits.

Twylight I know that there is a thread somewhere where somebody tries to mod hooves onto the littlefee body...but I seem to recall it being a bit difficult.

My opinion (only owning two yo's) I do prefer littlefee body, but I don't think that the Soom TG is a bad poser. All the joints on the Soom are shaped well and he can pose nicely, and i've chosen to keep mine floppy because I think it's cute.

Aside from posability, one of the reasons I like the Littlefee better than Soom TG bodies is that I think Soom resin is pretty soft....and that makes me sad because I've already put dents in several places. ;_; None of my other dolls have damage that I'm aware of and I don't think I treat them any different. My poor little soomling had damage w/in a week of me having him

He's a Winnie Dee human head and human body (he's one one of the new bodies . . . I haven't had time yet to see what it can do in terms of posing).
He'll be joined shortly by my Scully - my Appini and an Eliv I've yet to think of a name for . . .

I think there is one thing that really will never make me LOVE the littlefee body.
It's their.... BELLYBUTTON. XD
I just can't like it. XDXD But one of these days, I will have a Littlefee. One of these days....

I've just bought a Glot and i'd like to buy a wig from fairyland, but little fee's head is a bit smaller than TG so...
Does anyone know if the little fee's wig fits well on teenie gem?

If anyone have pictures of it i'd like to see! ^^

The wig that is on my Winnie dee human head in the picture I posted above is a Fairyland LTF wig -- as you can see, it fits well.

In awesome news (for me), I gave up on my seller for an Afi head. They said they were going to send me pics Oct. 24th, but still haven't contacted me and there's large breaks between PMs. But I found someone on the MP finally selling the head (for a great price too ^^) and she replied right back, so I can finally send him to the faceup artist, and the on to me! Yeah, I'm waaay too excited now! And I found a coffin shaped purse I got from ebay is the perfect size for a Yo-sized carrier.

SOSO, I have more questions!
So the Fairyland white skin matches right?
Has anyone ever tried to put the Littlefee hands on instead of the SOOM ones?
Would they even fit?
Would an arm swap be neccecary or even doable if not one couldn't do a hand swap?
I love option hands, but I also love the SOOM teenies SOOO much!
I also definitely couldn't manage to find the right combination of words to bring it up in the search either...

So! its teh 8th here in the USA at 7:40am, which makes it 10:40PM on the 7th in Korea.
Which means sometime this afternoon/late night is when the event will start? Is that right?

Yes, Rosslyn's Ai Hooves/LTF mod is adorable but I'm just not much of a modder. Face-ups, sanding, and sueding is as far as I go (for now )
Yeah, I've been wanting a LTF body for a long time but none of their sculpts really popped for me, it's nice having Soom as an alternative

I don't have anything to show you but you could try the Soom Teenie Hybrid thread? Someone there might be able to help? There's also a really good image of a LTF/Teenie side-by-side which might help with figuring out sizes for the wrists/shoulders?

It's actually Tuesday in Korea so the morning of the 9th, currently it's 9:00am on the 8th where I am, and in Korea it's 1:00am on the 9th. So it should start late this evening, you've got nothing to worry about.

 

It was rainy over here yesterday too, Mittebam. Even little fishies like the rainy weather, I kept Lore inside. He spent most of the day watching the rain with Puff, his pufferfish stuffie. He'll be getting a new wig soon, and none too soon imo.

 

I think in the previous thread someone also came up with the idea.
However the problem is this. You cannot buy the magnet insert for the hands separately. In order to use the littlefee hands you need the ball part that hooks into the body which is also a magnet so your hands would go on it. Since they are not sold separately it'd only work if you already have a littlefee and you swap them out.

... I also have a feeling that ball part might be a touch on the small side for TGs.

I'm sending him to HeyTanya here, I got her last free faceup slot before it jumped to $30, yay! ^^ (so he'll go from the States, to the Phillipines to Canada o_0 quite the trip) I was also able to get the 'cutie/punching' hands for my Afi since the seller never used them, now I just need the other pair, but I may try to go for Keny's hands too, anyone have a picture of them? I can't seem to remembewr what either pair look like...

I'm miost likely going to try the Dikadoll tan Yo body since so many have been wondering in the Soom hybirds thread, but no one has tried. I'm worried it may be a little orange and hoping the hands will fit, but hopefully I can blush if needed since I love the poseability of that body. I think I've contacted every Dika dealer to ask them about the match, no responses yet...

Venx, Littlefees have magnetic hands so I think it would be quite challenging to change them in TG body? Maybe if you can add the wrist part on TG body, or then whole arm? I can´t tell better, but I´m sure someone here can.

I think I'll get my Minette with a Soom body (subject to change a gazillion times), because when I went over the measurements the Soom Teenies are only ever like .5 cm off from my BC's measurements which would make clothes sharing/tailoring a bit easier. And then a Yrie. *plots* There goes my plan of only ever having two of any one sized doll!

 

So I have a question?

What size eyes do soom beyla fit? The open eyed head?
