Soom Rang & Dain Owls

    1. My very long awaited Little Gem Rang & Dain!
      Their initial layaway was a second part of my birthday gift back in November. I have to say I absolutely adore them!
      Dain is a nice light creamy white and Rang is a nice copper bronze color. I am debating on getting their cute wing ear heads modded slightly more open, but I'm still not sure. My Dain is a girl and Rang is a boy.

      Enjoy their box opening and little photo shoot!


      Soom put their box together with two boxes, but the top one was upside down. haha.

      The anticipation was killing me! Their boxes were a matte box unlike my Rico & Serin boxes that are glossy.

      Rang's human body! I thought the bronze would have more of a red tint, but I like the shade it is. It's nice and soft.

      Fantasy bits and heads! I like the sharp hands and I do like their little claw feet more in person than in the photos.

      Their wings and magnets gave me a little trouble, but I was able to get them to work for this cute little snapshot. Yay for wigs!

      Bonus shot of all my Little Gems! I can't wait to get Thera and Volo in light violet soon(ish)!
      Also, if anyone is curious.. Dain has a more creamy white with a little pinkish tone compared to Serin's paper white tone. I wish the photo showed it more, but everything was taken at night with no natural lighting.

    9. Look at all your Soom beauties, ahh! :aheartbea Dain and Rang are absolutely one of my most favorite soom littles. Congrats for having them!! The photo also shows clearly the white difference between Serin and Dain. So now on the CW is going to be that white, huh... I'm so jealous how many little gems you have :) What are your plans, make face-up and clothing for them yourself or purchase from someone else?

      reitsuki I was worried about Rang's color, but it really is nice. Though, the bronze does feel as if it weighs more and I find it interesting.

      Sadie89 I love Soom too! I still have two Little Gem girls on layaway.

      ShaySugar I love them so much. They're adorable. I'm glad the CW difference came over enough in the pictures. I do like Dain's creamier white to Serin's paper white. As for my plans, once the weather is better I hope to be able to do their face ups myself. I just need to be able to seal them. I am hoping I can put my sewing skills to work and make their outfits, but I'm picky so I might purchase them if mine don't come out right. ^^
