20–39cm Dolls Soom Opel & Lier Box Opening

I recently had the delight of securing one of my grails (a Soom Opel & Lier) from a lovely member on here, and she arrived earlier this week. While she's technically secondhand, she was in such pristine condition that the experience of opening her was like opening a brand new doll. I thought it would be fun to share some photos from the box opening process here!





And there she is!! I let out a little squeal when I unzipped this bag for the first time. She is so cute!



She was so pristine that the magnets on her moth parts hadn't even been glued in yet.



A short time later I'd successfully glued in all the magnets and attached her option parts. She's everything I could have hoped for!



I absolutely love insects in real life, so it's been so exciting to start collecting the buggy BJD sculpts that I can find out there. Here's this cutie next to my lovely 5StarDoll Jadite, Clover:





It's such a dream come true to have them together. They both provide very different and interesting takes on insect features, and I think that they look wonderful next to each other!
